  1. Watched RocketMan earlier. It is still one of my all-time favourites.
  2. I'm essentially the opposite. I haven't seen a movie with him in it I DON'T like. I saw Predators and The Expendables last night. Predators was good, though one thing bugged me about it. The Expendables was good, too. [spoiler=Spoiler]What bugged me in Predators was the new Predator killing the old one. I know it was necessary but the old ones were so much better.
  3. Even though I like cats, I must agree. I just adore dogs xD They're always so happy to see you ^.^ EDIT: There is only one thing that can love you more than yourself, and thats a dog. (I forget where I found this quote. lol) No way, they slobber everywhere and bite your faces off. That's what makes them so great! Besides... I knew some cats that were far meaner than any dog I've seen.
  4. For the time being. Although it wasn't really a big issue before this update. It was easily manageable. Not quite, before that I always ran out of space because I was doing mining, smithing, fishing, and cooking all at the same time. 78 spaces is still too little for f2p skillers if they skill multiple skills. I always have a few spots open, even when doing multiple skills. Like I said, it IS easily manageable (it just takes some sacrifices). And if you can't fit everything into 78 spaces, you should rethink some of your items. Those few spots are for when I get my mime costume back, though.

  6. I don't mind the Kraft stuff, but I would greatly prefer home-made. Of course, I would rather not have to make the home-made myself. I never have made it, either. I should one day. As for the microwave method, I've been doing that for years. It takes a minute or 2 longer (7-8 on stove, 8-9 in microwave) but without having to heat up the water first, it more or less evens out.

I actually wasn't pulled from job to job last night. I was happy about that. Tonight, I hope for the same luck. But I will also be having a nap before I go to work, if I still feel like this in 3 hours.

I did the same, except it's now 9am and I'm not going to sleep. So I think it's time to eat. But I'm fairly certain we have virtually nothing to make. And by that, I'm not sure we even have any bread or milk.

Today (all week, really) I get to go to work expecting to do a job I like. I can almost guarantee that I will be pulled away from it at least once, though. Apart from that, I got up, showered and went on the computer. When I'm done on here, I'll go to my room, maybe clean it up a little.
  10. Saw Despicable Me and Dinner for Schmucks at the drive-in Saturday night. Both were good. Sunday I watched The President's Man and The President's Man: A Line in the Sand. Overall, not bad movies. But the special effects were pretty terrible.
  11. It looks pretty good, although I have never heard of Scott Pilgrim until the movie. I'll definitely watch it when it comes to my local drive-in. Which it should do in the first couple of weeks.
  12. Beat Playthrough 1 on Borderlands (with Mordecai) the other day. I think I missed a couple of ClapTraps, though. I'm trying to decide if I should do Playthrough 2 or take another character through next.

^I'm the only one in my house that agrees with you. I have a deal that gives me unlimited text + $0.10/minute calls (regular is 0.30, I think) for $20. I also pay $10 for unlimited internet. All prices in Canadian Dollars. The guy I'm working this week was on time for the first time this week. Tuesday he didn't show up at all (return trip from Quebec was a day late) and Wednesday he got a flat tire on his way to work causing him to be 30 minutes late. Monday was a holiday, here, so he didn't have to be there on time. Or at all, for that matter. Nor did I. Tomorrow, barring problems on my line, I will probably leave a half hour early.

I have all of that, as well, but I only use the text, internet and alarms so far. One or two calls in the 11 months I've had it for.
  15. That was my first thought, as well. I kind of like it, though.
  16. *points to skill tab* Find me 1, just 1 skill that has complete F2P access from level 1 to 99. dungeoneering? Dungeoneering incorporates most other skills. As some of these are P2P, F2P doesn't have full access.
  17. I have been wanting a random event for months, and haven't got any. I need to reclaim all of my mime gear.
  18. Post-Secondary is only a waste if you either don't finish or don't follow through with what you took. That said, I skipped college, etc. in favour of a job. I also spend a lot of money on video games and movies, but I save some, too. Things I can't stand... Crime dramas. I used to be okay with them, but now I can't watch more than a minute.
  19. My thoughts exactly. I don't have the time to bother with games I have to pay for every month.
  20. Mine are simple. Get full-time at work (currently seasonal, next is part-time, then full), save enough money for a nice-sized property, start a family... and outlive the Earth.

As the first Monday in August, I don't have to work (Civic Holiday in Canada). As such, I have done basically nothing. I will soon go and play catch wth my sister, but that'll pretty much be it for me.
  22. The Last Airbender- Better than I expected, although my expectations weren't exactly high to begin with. Dinner For Schmucks- This one was hilarious. Steve Carell plays a very convincing idiot. Get Him to the Greek- This one bored me through the first 40 minutes, and I was tired, so I didn't stick around for the end (it was about 2am, after all).
  23. Most people already realize it. They just don't care. If they start to care, Nintendo et al are doomed. I haven't officially quit Runescape, yet, but I haven't played in a few weeks. Guess what I filled that time with? Other games. My life hasn't improved any, just as it didn't decline during my time playing Runescape daily. I was never addicted, though. If a friend wanted to do something, and invited me along, I went without hesitation. Now I never see my friends because I had to move closer to my job and I work afternoons to their days.

I got paid for a little over 4 and a half hours last night... for doing MAYBE 40 minutes of work. We had to metal check a bunch of product to find something that we found in the first skid of 7. In other words, we didn't do the other 6. After that, we had 40 skids to X-Ray but what we were looking for wouldn't show up on the screen. So we didn't have to do that, and the supervisor said "You're done for the night, go home if you want." So most of us left.
  25. Haha, I remember always fighting with my brothers over who gets to be Oddjob.. Yes, it's annoying as hell. I'd be walking around and out of nowhere I get a bullet to the crotch <_< I fought with a friend over it. It was his game, so he gave up. I played Nightfire more, so I grew fond of Nick Nack. OT: The lead hand in my department at work. If there is 5 minutes left in your shift, he makes you work (or tries to, at least).
