The best way to make box macaroni and cheese.

Featured Replies

1. Dump the noodles into a microwave safe container.

2. Put in 1 and a half cups of water (per box).

3. Put lid on.

4. Microwave for 7-8 minutes.

5. All the water should boil out so you don't need to drain it.

6. Add cheese butter and milk as directed on your box of mac and cheese.

Nah, the best way is to get someone else to do it for you.

Mac and Cheese is the easiest thing to make ever, I'm not sure why you'd need to make it easier.

Poor NZ ... I pity you. It's the cheesiest.

am i the only one who prefers the velveeta mac and cheese to kraft? Also, the kraft shape ones like the spongebob or pokemon ones are soooo much better than regular kraft.

But really, I'd rather have it home-made

I prefer the Kraft when I don't have any baked beans. But if I do have baked beans I like that mixed with the velveeta mac and cheese.

I totally agree with you about the spongebob or pokemon ones being a lot better. They're more fun, too!

We get most of our stuff from Aussie anyway... I think we have "Easy Mac", I remember the ad for it cos it was Australian. Some kid sneaks into his girlfriends house, not to see her but to use her microwave...

rosssigfinal.jpg

I mix the cheese mix separately and cook my pasta in a pot. But hey microwaves work too, and less dishes to wash  .

Also sometimes I put it in the oven and bake if a while.

Yeah, that's the same one we have. It's the same thing.

How is it that in America (where this stuff originated) put more cheese than noodles? Why the hell you guys love condiments so damn much?

add ketchup and bacon bits - like a boss

The best way to make macaroni and cheese is by doing it from scratch. Enjoy (if you can) crappy mac n' cheese from Kraft, who still has the nerve to serve rubberized, individually wrapped slices of veneer and have the temerity to call it cheese. It tastes metallic and has no true cheddar taste.

If I wanted to top butter and popcorn toppings on pasta I would, for even less money.

Seriously it's not even hard to do. :| Lack of money is one thing, but if you can afford to, why aren't you?!

I'm lazy as [bleep] and like how Kraft mac and cheese tastes anyways.

Actually this thread inspired me to go microwave some easy mac, I'm kind of hungry :).

I don't think I've eaten mac 'n cheese for years.

I've realised what my life has been missing. I need to go to the shops sometime in the next month.

A good homemade Mac n' Cheese will make even lazy men labor for its awesomeness. I weep for you that you have not shared this enlightenment!
