The weekly schedule was correct for Monday, as I did the job it said I was there to do. Now to just finish the week the same way.
  2. The Suffering creeped my friend out to the point of not playing anymore. It's a good thing he only rented it, because he wouldn't have touched it again. Not that I was eager to play it after watching him. I've been playing my copy of Sonic Mega Collection, more specifically Sonic the Hedgehog 2. I can't help it, it just keeps me wanting more.
  3. 1) Super Mario Bros 3 (NES)- This was also the first game I ever played, and the first I ever beat. Narrowly beats out #2 on my list. 2) Super Mario Bros (NES)- A classic, I still play it on emulators. I love it. 3) Diablo 2 (PC)- I have played through this game more times than I can count and still play. It is not far off of #2. 4) Sonic the Hedgehog 2 (SEGA)- I didn't play this game much when I was younger, but I got it in a Sonic collection pack on GCN and played it a hundred times. 5) Pokémon series (GB, GBC, GBA, DS)- I admit it, I love them. Not so much the 3rd gen games, but the rest. Honorable mentions: TMNT: Turtles in Time (SNES), Potty Pigeon (C64)
  4. Last night I watched Daddy Day Care, which I had seen before. It is relatively amusing, but I only watched it because nothing else was on. And later I watched Mrs Doubtfire, which was a favourite of mine growing up. Still great.

That made me laugh. Thank you, I needed a good laugh. As for the rake thing, I'm with Adrenal, except I do think it would have been funny live. Happy Birthday!
  6. I'm rooting for Nadal, as usual. But I wouldn't mind seeing Djokovic go far. He amuses me. As well as Sharapova in the women's side.
  7. Yep, nobody. That's me. I'm not one of these "Next year..." guys, though. I'm more of an "Eventually..." person. Yeah, I'm a realist  I don't know if I would get one with MY name on it, but if you think you'd wear it, why not? But my favorite recent Leaf (Kaberle) is, as of right now, still a Leaf (might change by next season, though). Yeah, I doubt they'll hang on to Kaberle. It's a pity, because he's a damn good defenceman but I think they want someone younger to fit with the rest of the team. Plus Kaberle is expensive. Not really. He only makes like 4.25 million. Other D with his abilities make more. But I do agree that, unfortunately, he will probably be leaving. He supposedly doesn't get along very well with Wilson, and Burke said he will deal Kaberle before firing Wilson.

Today I will see how accurate the weekly schedule is this time. I figure if I am on the job I am supposed to be on according to said list just once it is an improvement from last week. And despite my dislike for the job it says, I will gladly take it because I am starting to get sick of the surprises. Apart from that, I thought about messaging a friend on facebook but decided that, unless something emergency-like comes up, I will wait until she is out of school for the year. And I am going on about 3 hours of sleep right now, with very little time to try for more (as such, I will not bother), so I should sleep pretty well tonight.
  10. I saw The Karate Kid (2010 one) last night, which was pretty good. I never saw the entire first one, though. After that was Killers, which was alright. I wouldn't have paid to see only it, though.

Today I slept until 3pm, watched the last 45 minutes of Lethal Weapon and then came on the computer. I should get something to eat soon, and maybe go shopping or something. Food for sure, though.

Last night I had to dump a 50 pound pail of caramel every 7 minutes and if I noticed the lids were getting low, throw a couple more stacks in. When we shut down, I cleaned out my contraption and then noticed my old palletizing pal was washing pails so I helped him for the last hour of my day.

I have to agree. Dr Pepper never appealed to me. Today I get to work again. But I don't know what I'll be doing. Anything I have already learned and signed off on works for me. But I have to say, I would really rather train somebody again. Makes the day go by so much better, unless you have nothing in common.
  14. I haven't played a lot of Zelda games much, but I've played almost all of them (all but the 2 Oracles, I think). I have only beaten 2 (Link's Awakening and Windwaker) because they're the only ones I have ever owned. But the Skyward Sword looks pretty awesome. I'll get it for sure.
  15. Make that 3 of us, then. I blocked several things from my newsfeed... a person and a bunch of apps. I never thought of that one, but me too. I hate hot weather.

I just spent almost an entire shift doing NOTHING because I was training a guy to do one of my jobs. Too bad it was the one I like second most, and not one of the ones I don't like at all.
  17. Gone Fishin'- I missed the start and fell asleep before the end, but what I saw was funny. I'm definitely going to watch the rest when I can.

I had 3 different jobs tonight. First I dumped Smarties for 15 minutes and cleaned up from that... Then I was sent to sort out the good product from the bad ones on another line so the packers (who are supposed to do this, it is in their job description) didn't have to. Then they took me away from that about 4 hours later and made me shovel product into bins because it was no good. So yeah... today was alright.

I didn't go to mine... It was 4 months after I graduated, so I skipped it. I was still at the school anyway, so I just picked up my diploma the Monday after. The "Study Hall" guy saw me and grabbed it from the office for me. Last night I was training on a job I know well, but won't sign off on yet. The sooner I sign off, the sooner I'll have to do it solo, you see. And that doesn't appeal to me in the least. I hate the job with a passion.
  20. I'd say video games and their various consoles. Without those, I don't know what I would do. Those rank right up there. They gave me hours upon hours of entertainment when I was a kid... and even up to the last few years. As for medications and the like... I have yet to take any meds in my life.
  21. Because people aren't like you. Maybe some people like the skill? Ever thought about that? I don't not like it. It gives me a new place to kill stuff, some boss monsters, and privacy. Although I do agree it has its downsides, I wouldn't call it... er... dung.

I actually appeared on the daily schedule for today, which is not something I do very often. On the other hand, said schedule wasn't up until 2 minutes after I punched in. It rarely is. I got to dump Rolo pieces into a hopper every 2 minutes (half a box at a time).
  23. One person CAN do something about it. But he already said he won't. In this rare case, I would have reversed the call. I'm a Jays fan, have been all my life. My favourite players are Aaron Hill and John McDonald. I knew we would start slumping eventually, but what a start.
  24. I did, in fact, watch Mr Magorium's Wonder Emporium on TV, but about 6 hours later than intended. And after that, I watched Star Trek: Insurrection. Both are good, but not my favourites.
  25. Last night I watched Dumb and Dumber (twice, as it was a double-header of sorts). I love it. Before that I flipped between Bowling for Columbine and The Bucket List, 2 others I love. Today I might watch Mr Magorium's Wonder Emporium, since it's on tv.
