Today I am getting ready to go up north for a week. I leave tomorrow, get back next weekend. So, for any of you who care... see you in a week.

I do that all the time, especially with my cellphone. Sometimes I will even look a second time and forget again. I do it at least twice a day at work... People look at me funny when I keep looking at the clock every 30 seconds...

Or remembering it 5 minutes later, when it is no longer so important.

I got tomorrow off, which is awesome. I was supposed to work, but apparently something isn't going to run. My mom keeps telling me to complain that people with less seniority are getting the shift and I'm not, but I would rather have the time off.

All right, I'll admit it. She's epic. She's got some of my favourite songs.

Today, I'm supposed to be working on a line I thought wasn't running this week. Maybe it's the alternate product, but I don't really know that one... Oh well, we'll see.

The Longest Yard (Adam Sandler version)- Pretty funny, but I only watched it because nothing else was on. The Bourne Identity- I should really read the books... Bowling for Columbine- Michael Moore has yet to disappoint me. A Night at the Roxbury- The only one I hadn't seen before, I liked it. X2- Good movie, but it doesn't have one of my favorite mutants in it.

People actually do that? I have about 140 friends (lot's of family and co-workers).

House to myself today (for now, anyway)... might cook something decent to eat to celebrate. Or I'll just spend the day online.

I found out last night that I now have today (Friday) off work. I have no clue what I should do, though.

Yeah, those were some of the best cartoons out there... and still are, of course. Work today... no idea what I'll be doing though... Weekly schedule says one thing, I've done 5 things this week... none of them that which the weekly says.

I saw this a couple of days ago, but didn't read past the first paragraph. It's interesting to think about, though.

For the second day in a row, my line was done and cleaned up by 7 (5 yesterday, though) so I ended up mixing up some ingredients for a flavour we're running Friday... go me?

I once got a decent mark on a 1000 word essay using only ~300 words. I think 468 of 500 is fine. On the topic of vegetarianism, I don't care what somebody else eats... just don't tell me what to eat or I WILL rub a steak in your face. Also, to the topic of the thread, people who try to convince me to go back to school knowing very little about my life. I'm quite happy with it at the moment.

The last couple of times I've eaten at BK, I didn't like it at all. The most recent time, I felt ill after finishing my meal and the time before, everything was cold (fries and burgers). On the other hand, McDonalds often gives me lettuce when I say "no lettuce". Of the 2, though, I prefer McDonalds.

I am now in ELITES (fan).

Passed up the opportunity to see a demolition derby yesterday because I didn't want to spend the $12 to get into the fair (used to be $10, but because they let Special Needs people AND their caretakers in free they didn't make enough or something). So I stayed home and played Diablo 2 for a bit. On the plus side, this is my second last week of work before I take a full week off to go North and sleep in a tent. I miss that part of Summer vacation.

Watched a few movies over the weekend, nothing of the new variety. Resident Evil: Extinction- One of my favorite series of movies, I still need to find a new copy of the first one, though. Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium- For whatever reason, it makes me laugh every time... and it was on tv when nothing else was worth watching. The Spiderwick Chronicles- This one was on after Magorium, and I couldn't be bothered to change the channel. I love the movie, though. Transformers + Revenge of the Fallen (both)- My cousin doesn't want to see any more of them, but I think Transformers will still rock without Megan Fox. I watch these movies for the giant transforming robot deathmatches, anyway.

Just died for the third time... But also managed to convince him to join the Elites... after 2 days and nearly 200% godpower.

Bought NHL 11 and started a Be A Pro game. Whipped the Brandon Wheat Kings in the Memorial Cup (using the London Knights) 6-0, with my guy getting 3 goals, 2 assists. Now to earn a shot on the Washington Capitals NHL roster as a Defensive Defenseman.

Another of our monthly meetings today. An hour early start, an hour early to go home... but I have to listen to the financials of the plant that doesn't make a difference to my personal bank account.

For the third day in a row, my mother was called to work early. So for the second day in a row, I'll get there almost an hour before my shift starts via my aunt on her lunch break (the first day I was there well over an hour early.

I started 8 days ago and he's on his 8th quest. "Avoid doing any work", which happens to be my real life goal when I'm at work. He's also level 11, about a third of the way to 12 and have had to resurrect twice. EDIT: 11:59 Pondered how my Lord is different from getting drunk. Both give me a headache, but getting drunk is so much more pleasant. I've been so good to him, too... I ought to punish the fool. EDIT again: This one improves my mood, every time. 13:26 Came across a bunch of flamboyant vampires and overgrown wolves arguing over some underage girl. Looked like a lame show, kept walking.

Somebody's an angsty virgin today. I can't help but ditto this. I think the phrase "learn some manners" comes into play. Anyway, I'd hate to be in your position/the father's position, as I'd rather have a child through planning, but good luck to the two of you. Most children are unplanned I would assume, plus 25 isn't that young. Compare it to people over here where most are 16-20 when they get pregnant, and really do just spend their lives living off the state. At least you have a job, a family and the father will be involved. :thumbup: I live near a secondary school with a daycare... Yeah... 25 seems a good age for a kid. Good luck, and I'm glad you decided to have it. While I'm not really against abortions, I think it should be reserved for special circumstances.
