  1. The only reason I have for not liking the update is the new name, but not because of any definitions. I just always say hitpoints instead of constitution if I don't use quick chat to announce milestones in exp/level. But other than that I don't think it was a bad update, and it should make for some interesting future content.
  2. That's the actual reason mine is ON these days. I have had several old friends make their comebacks, including 2 more last night. Although sometimes when I get home from work I don't feel like talking so I turn it right off. It is usually only on Friends when my list is full anymore.
  3. My private chat was always set to friends a while back when I played a lot. But it was because I kept getting people messaging me for free stuff or asking me repeatedly for help even if I already told them I couldn't. More recently I have it back on because I took some time off and nobody really bugs me anymore.
  4. The Losers- Well worth the watch. At times predictable, but it made me laugh a lot. A Nightmare on Elm Street (2010)- It wasn't as good as the old ones, but still worth the watch. A Perfect Getaway- Apart from the inability to take Steve Zahn seriously after some of his other movies, I liked this one. Push- It wasn't great, but wasn't bad either. Beowulf- This one was my least favourite of the weekend. It was kinda dull. Step Brothers- Makes me laugh every time. Blues Brothers 2000- I found it enjoyable, although again not great.
  5. I'll have to disagree with you there. Iron Man was awesome, it had a excellent plot progression, pacing and it was pretty awesome. Iron Man 2 however, sucked in comparison to the first one. There was too much going on at the same time. Too many new characters, which made the pacing really really [cabbage]. The story and plot had no motivation itself and all the for all the characters that were there, especially Whiplash, along with all the other characters, didn't really develop and died far too soon. The first Iron Man everything was smooth, the whole film was exhilarating. I went to watch Iron Man for Iron Man, not for the setups for SHIELD, Avengers and whatnot. The whole film sped up, slowed down, took stuff out, put stuff in at really unecessary and uneeded intervals. Scarlett Johansson was o.O though, and Robert Downy Jr got every scene just right. A solid 6/10 IMO. I didn't like the first one much. It bored me for the first hour or so. But then again, I was with a person who didn't like it because it starred who it did. I'll have to watch it alone sometime.
  6. I guess that's because I respect the fact that the game is free. There are many things I would love to see added to F2P (Fletching [arrows, at least] and more Quests/Diaries, for example), but I know the likelihood of it happening is slim so I ask only for what we truly need. As for the dungeoneering discussion, I haven't come across a members door yet, but that would be annoying. I've come across doors I can't open, but that's due to prayer/runecrafting requirements being too steep.

My best beep test performance was 3.5. Yeah... I'm in great shape. It went down by 0.5 every year I had to do it. I got to work last night to find my name omitted from the daily schedule for the second time this week. I talked to the supervisor and he ended up sending me to palletizing. I was quite happy about that. Do it again tonight and I'll be in the best mood I've been in in a long, long time.

I am mature when I need to be. However, I don't often need to be. At work, where I should technically act serious, I act immaturely depending on who I'm working near. Why? It makes the day go by more smoothly.
  9. Last night I watched Fanboys again. I like it even though I never really liked Star Wars much.

You always check the questions first. I've never read a whole story or article as I check what I have to answer and read the relevant bits. I do the same. Read the questions to find out what I need to know then skim through to find the answers. Works every time and I finished all tests in 40 minutes or less regardless of length.
  11. I think he meant the ones that he referred to a line up from that, the ones that are supposedly "smarter at suggesting than most members." As for what F2P should get, until I get enough time in on Dungeoneering to try out the magic bonus items, I have to assume Mage is (at least a little) more competitive. Thus I can't think of anything else really needed.

Well, Wednesday was the same as Tuesday... assisting with the repackaging of Del Monte bars. If Thursday and Friday are the same thing my head will explode.

Varies from person to person. I wasn't a big chocoholic when I started there, though. I know some people who have been there for decades, and some still love it while others hate it now. The ice cream*, however, most people lose interest in after a few years. *most of it contains no actual cream, so they legally can't call it ice cream Last night I had a job that doesn't normally exist for the 3rd time this year (at least). All I did was help the packers pack Del Monte bars after the boxer broke. Luckily the boxer is a hunk-o-junk, so I was busy all night. Monday night I did a job they don't usually have a person specifically for, Tuesday night a job that doesn't technically exist... I wonder what they got in store for me the rest of the week?
  14. For me, the top 2 are Zombieland and Shaun of the Dead (in no particular order). I also like Resident Evil and Dawn of the Dead, but they aren't as good as the other 2.
  15. Check out "Special" http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0479162/ I'll have to find a copy of that somewhere.

Last night I did, more or less, nothing all night. My job consisted of dumping a large pail of chocolate into a vat every half hour and a smaller pail of a different chocolate into a smaller vat whenever it dropped too low. And they gave me a second person because they couldn't fit us onto a relief person's break list. Thus we made our own breaks. If the other guy had done the job before, we would have had much better breaks, but he did most of the work when he wasn't on break.
  17. I've only seen parts of all of them (other than Salvation, which I saw all of). And Space Jam was on and I missed it!?
  18. I spent the night watching movies with my cousin so I saw 6 this weekend. Avatar (2D)- Not nearly as impressive, but still not bad. Defendor- I'm not sure but this might be my favourite movie of those I have seen for the first time this year. Evolution- Pretty funny. I might buy it if I find it. A Haunting in Georgia- Though technically not a movie, I watched a DVD copy of it. If it was intended to scare me, it failed, even though I was in a dark basement that my aunt used to think was haunted... maybe if I believed in that kind of thing? Pandorum- This one was weird, but it surprised me a bit in a few parts, so I did enjoy it a little. And then I got home tonight and watched an older one: Small Soldiers- I can't help it... it's not really very good but I like it.

Last night my job (the one I like the second least in the place) was done at about 6 (I started at 3). So they sent me to do another job, which turned out to be the only job I like less. All I do is fill a vat with chocolate by opening up a pipe and then add whatever else goes into the chocolate using a scoop... every 15-25 minutes. After that line went down at about 9, I quit for the night (sat in the cafeteria and waited until 11 to punch out, though). They didn't send me anywhere else, so it's their fault.
  20. To be honest, nobody "deserves" them. Members have them, F2P does not. It is a fact. My only reason for thinking F2P should have them is their misleading news posts which never used the term "Members", such as: and However, as I have stated before, I also believe it is too late to release them to F2P now.
  21. That's not a very good reason, AND you're being stereotypical of F2P. The REAL reason is simply because you really don't have to use that much stuff in F2P. I'm able to store ALL random event items and all the combat/skilling items I need in my bank, and have a few spaces left over as well. It's not the problem of having too less bank space, it's the problem with your bank organization. Toss out stuff you don't use (holiday items). And even if you use your holiday items, toss them when you're done and retrieve them from Diango when you want to do it again. Sonic is right that we have enough bank space in F2P, if we manage it properly. As for giving us HALF of what P2P has... We have nowhere NEAR half the items, so that would not be logical at all.

Congrats! Although a drug test? Sounds weird to me... But I guess, working with people and all... I've never dealt with people, except co-workers. Today we broke the line I was working on, but not well enough. It was about 9:10, we were shutting down at 10:00. 9:45 came along and it was fixed... so they made us run for 15 minutes! We ended up running an extra 10 minutes because my co-worker had a trainee who opened up a couple boxes of sundae cups too many (would have been not enough if we didn't break the machine, though). So we had 35 minutes to do the cleanup... and finished in plenty of time, really. I just sprayed the underside of the machine for 20 of those minutes.
  23. Morgan Freeman for me as well. That voice is... well... perfect.

Why didn't you just get the Oompa-Loompas to clean it up for you ? The company couldn't get them to come to the ice cream factory... I think they went on strike, or something. The mess was massive, though. It was at LEAST 5000kg (~11000 pounds), and by the time I got there it was only about 10kg (~22 pounds) left. Pretty good timing, if I do say so myself.

Today at work we shut down at about 8:30, which left 2 hours and 15 minutes until I could go home. We did the cleanup in 30 minutes and then took 30 of break, leaving now 1 hour, 15 minutes. So the man in charge of labour distribution asks me to help clean up a chocolate spill that happened between midnight and 4am (from what I understand, it was leaking that entire time) the night before! Why it wasn't cleaned up by the time I got TO work, I have no idea. It spread across 7 giant vats (each one a minimum of 7 feet in diameter) and into the next room. Luckily it was almost done when they found me.
