I bought Left 4 Dead 2 and Soul Calibur IV today. Both are pretty entertaining. I didn't play L4D for long, though, because my mom came home with food shortly after I started.

I was quite disappointed in the lack of things flying at me, most of all. The 3D effects were incredible, but subtle. You weren't meant to have things flying at you but... I dunno how to explain this properly... there was more depth, so things in the background seemed further away and things in the foreground seemed closer to you. Yeah, the effects were amazing, I agree. The depth was awesome. But it was the first 3D movie I watched that didn't have things fly at the viewers. It was disappointing. I watched I Love You , Beth Cooper- it wasn't bad, pretty funny. 6.5/10

Yeah. The arms for the cauldron didn't completly raise. I think only 3/5 of them did...It's probally all over youtube by now. I heard 4 did, but I can't remember where I heard it, so it might not be accurate. I am probably going grocery shopping today... gonna buy me some food.

Talking on phones. I avoid it at all costs, and I have no idea why. If I have to do it, I get all nervous and my voice gets shaky.

I don't get family day off... That's about the only downside to my job. And snow days only need to be made up for if you get more than a certain number. We almost hit that number about 5 years ago, but I've never seen it happen. (I, too, live in Ontario)

Last night I was kind of expecting a talking to by a supervisor, and really hoping for one. Apparently my second break (always either 25 or 30) was meant to be a 20 but my relief person didn't tell me until I got back. She then went on to tell me the other guy on my job (we had 3, but needed 1 to open boxes, 2 dumping them) was doing the job BY HIMSELF for 20 minutes. She was my RELIEF person. She is to do my job while I am ON BREAK. She was too busy doing the other 2 people's jobs she let go at the same time, I guess. So a combination of poor communication and stupid full-timer superiority complex made one guy's day that much harder for 20 minutes. The box opener was being relieved by a pregnant woman, too, and she couldn't lift the boxes off the skids onto the table. Luckily we had some people nice enough to help her out or trade her jobs while she was there. Today I don't work, which is good. But it is even better because we have a stupid "communication meeting" in which they tell us how the company is doing and how much money we'll never see. I'll probably just play video games and watch movies all day.

I went to work to find my line just had a flavour change. So we get started shortly after I get there and find out the cups are too small for the machine (6mm smaller than we needed). We get that sorted out (new cups) and they still aren't working. After about 4 hours, we give up and clean up the area. We then find out another possible problem, the machine is several degrees in temperature off. I don't know if an adjustment to that fixed anything, though, because I was sent on break. When I got back, I essentially stodd around for 40 minutes waiting to do the final portion of my cleanup. And with about 40 minutes left in my shift they made me wash pails. I hate washing pails...

Try again? I bought Smackdown vs Raw 2010 for the 360 last weekend. It's not bad. I am thoroughly enjoying the highlight reel creator.

Fanboys- Pretty funny, I think I'll buy it. 7/10 Dead End- It was funny, but not in the good way. Far too predictable, as well. 4/10 Zombieland- Just as funny the second time and I am definitely buying it soon. 9/10 The Keeper- This is the first time I liked a Seagal movie, and would consider buying it. 7/10 Avatar (3D) I found the story was lacking but the effects were pretty cool. Overall, I doubt I'll buy it. 6/10 I also watched the first half or so of The Bourne Identity, but fell asleep since it was late.

I spent last night watching movies with my cousin... that was nice. Today I went to my grandmother's and watched old cartoons from when I was a kid while my mom helped her clean her closet. Teletoon Retro is my hero. Then I went and saw Avatar in 3D. It wasn't bad.

Today, I was supposed to go to work and would have swiped out less than 10 minutes ago, but they cancelled my shuft for the second time in a week. On the plus side, they called to let me know this time.

I don't think a merchanting ban would be a good idea. It is one of the great things about the game, when not abused. As for the Chat Macroers, I rarely go to the GE anymore, but when I did I had to flip my public to friends or I could barely move. I can't see any realistic solution for the problem, though. Reporting them or adding to ignore will work temporarily, assuming the report is successful, but there will be more and more created. This could work, but it would have a negative impact on the game, at least for the short term.

I watched Inkheart last night. It was better than expected, but not my favourite Brandon Fraser movie. 7/10

Will mankind ever be rid of war? No, mankind has far too many variations of itself to ever be at peace for very long. Something is bound to happen. Is war good/bad/neither? I would say both good and bad. It is good for population control (although there are probably better alternatives). Are the soldiers who fight war good/bad/neither? The soldiers are neither good nor bad, most are just fighting for their beliefs/country, others are fighting for more selfish means. Is war ever the answer? It is sometimes the only realistic way. It should be a last resort, but it does sometimes come to that.

Watched Babylon AD before bed the other day. It wasn't bad.

I recently (within the last 6 hours) watched 2 movies... well, most of the one and all of the other. Resident Evil: Extinction- I finally saw the third installment. It was good, though not great. 7/10 And I saw PART of Eraser- It was better than expected, although I didn't see the start or all of the end. 7/10 till I see the rest.

I bought a 360 with Lego Batman and Pure. I then went across the parking lot and bought NHL 09. I've been playing NHL 09 ever since, although I tried Lego Batman. Didn't get far.

I spent from about 11am until 4pm hanging out with my cousin. We ended up watching a movie and buying his sister some wiperblades. Oh, I also got a haircut and look semi-presentable again.

I bought a 360 today, so I've been playing that. I will be watching hockey in an hour, though.

Just watched The Fugitive. Not bad. When it first came out it is the type of movie that I would have hated. But I have since changed my taste in movies. 7/10

A lot of my posts in here are in hopes that at least one person gets a laugh out of it. If they do, it is worth it to me.

If i see a critic dislike the film for a 'lack of plot' I will literally rage. It will happen thought unfortunately, even though it is so unbelievably obvious it is a film which is not supposed to have an incredible plot. Yeah, ultimately, plots can ruin otherwise great movies like this one (hopefully).

I got to work today and sat in the lunchroom doing the daily crossword from the paper for about 20 minutes. When I left there to go to my job station I looked at the sheet telling me which station is mine. I noticed my name in a previously blank portion of the page. The heading above my name and three others read "CANCELLED". I almost didn't check the sheet, either, only looking because I saw that most lines weren't running. So I texted my sister to send my mom to come get me only to find out my mom wasn't home yet from dropping me off. I got to work at 2:20, got home at 3:50. But I talked to the booss and he told me to swipe in and he would give me half a day's pay for it. And this is why they need to call to cancel shifts instead of just posting it on the daily schedule sheet. Four people cancelled, not one got a phone call, all four get four hours pay for it.

I think that it is fine to joke about it, as long as it isn't causing anybody any emotional pain. My uncle's funeral was full of jokes, just because it's how he lived. Like was said above, though, there is a right and a wrong way to do it. Personally, I hope people DO laugh at my funeral. I can't stand the thought of people crying over my passing.
