-12 F? I waited for a school bus for 20 minutes in worse than that a few years ago. It's only down to 10 F here right now, though. This has been a mild winter to say the least. I'm just glad I work in a cold environment or I would go insane.

I got home from work to see my sister was babysitting. I wasn't very happy to have an 11 month old kid sleeping on my couch, since I had to be extra quiet. The kid is gone now, though. And because of the influx of new people at my workplace and the uniform supplier not coming any more often, I had to wear a uniform that didn't even come remotely close to fitting. The pants were way too loose (I had the hook in the second belt loop and still had to watch them to ensure they don't fall down) and the shirt was too tight (a medium... large is pushing it for me).

I think youre over egging the pudding on your numbers here. I used to consistently train with 4 or 5 of them on a daily basis, and most of my former clan (which at the time was 100% F2P-based, it has since disbanded) had them. The point I'm trying to make here is that there is more than enough gold in F2P (spread over thousands of players, at least) to cover thousands or millions of D-meds, depending on how high the price goes. I do agree that it isn't as obsolete as the OP makes it sound. It has seen a sharp decline in its usefullness, though, with the introduction of so many alternatives. I didn't see anything about it when I was reading through, so I do believe Corrupt Dragon was neglected. I have to admit, though, that I don't know much about it. All I know is that we can only use it for a set amount of time. And to the idea of a limited-time boss every so often, I would accept that. Although I don't play much anymore.

^It's a little funny. I get to work again today. Hopefully not the same thing as Monday, although the same as yesterday is fine. I hate not knowing where I'll be until I get there. It makes it very hard to call in sick to avoid working a job I can't stand!

I disagree that F2P is swimming with god armour. There aren't 'that' many people in F2P with plenty of cash in the bank. People will only pay what they can afford, so in the end the price won't skyrocket as much as what people think it will. When I was training my combat skills, I saw thousands of different people (mostly pure F2P, some ex-members) with various god/trimmed armors. I even know a few with all 3 god armors. However, I never said F2P was "swimming" in them. This is like saying that anything below the top armours/shields/helms etc. are useless because people move on from them. You yourself probably had a use for steel, mith, addy at some point before moving on to rune. That doesn't make them useless, its just you yourself have outgrown them but doesn't mean others have. I notice a lot of higher CB levels in both F2P/P2P making such statements. Actually, the only one of those I ever used, personally, was Mithril (used it right up until after Dragon Slayer). You're right that just because I have "outgrown" them doesn't mean everybody has, though. @Sonic- I saw those as well. Both are pretty good ideas, although I think the Cockroach Queen is the better one.

The line I was working on today ran overtime, but I didn't get asked to stay late (thankfully, I would have had to stay if I did- junior qualified). I don't like that job enough to do it for more than 8 hours.

Judging by the number of people I see with God armors in F2P (and yes, a lot of these people are pure F2P), the argument that we can't afford it is somewhat flawed. There would be at least a couple of million people who could afford it in F2P, even if it does skyrocket. The only real question about it is will people actually be willing to pay for it? This statement tends to back up the stance that it is somewhat useless more than you think, as well. Once people get their better helms, what are they to do with the D-Med? Let it rot in the bank or alch it, I assume are the only current solutions (correct me if I'm wrong). This would add one more way to get rid of it, and get some money out of it. I still don't support the D-Med becoming F2P, though. Those in favour of it will have to do better than that.

I did when I had a real bed. But now my bed doubles as a couch as it is a futon. It's comfy to sleep on but I'd probably break it if I fell on it like that.

I get to work again today, I think the same job. Hopefully we'll run later than 7pm today though (I'm not done until 10:45pm). I also plan to play video games and maybe watch a movie when I get home.

When I really need to relax, I just sprawl out on our comfy couch (as opposed to our uncomfy ones; we have 3) and listen to my iPod (whatever songs come up) and/or play my DS (whatever game was in). The music gets my mind off of things I would rather not think about (such as having to do this week's job) and the DS lets me do something (arguably) productive while I do it. Either that or I go to my room and play PS2/Wii or watch a movie. I guess that's all. TV used to work but most shows these days just bug me (apart from a bunch of kids shows).

I hear they also slipped to last in the league... truth? (not trying to rub it in or anything... as a Leafs fan I can't say much) I hear the Leafs are finally going to start burying 1-way contracts in the minors like Burke said at the start of the year. I figure Blake might be one of the first.

That should go without saying, but you are right. More than 1 boss, whether they be Giant Mole, KBD or a brand new monster, would be far too much. 1 boss would give a taste of boss hunting, drawing a few extra members. But maybe they should focus on the combat triangle situation first.

Today I get to go to work to do yet another job I haven't really done. I have done the same basic thing on other lines, but never before on this line. Oh well, at least it's an afternoon shift. I hate having to be up early.

I haven't bought a game in a while, so I've been playing Diablo 2 while waiting for Diablo 3 (2011 at best :sad: ). I now have a level 47 assassin (traps), a level 45 druid (wind elemental), a level 83 druid (werebear + maul), and a level 42 sorceress (frozen orb, non-expansion). I'm not sure what kind of character to make next, though.

To help cure my boredom, I played Diablo 2 using my Assassin and got to level 39. I'm going for 43 by 1:30pm tomorrow. I also watched the last half hour of Snow Day and so far the first 25 minutes of Space Cowboys.

Now I HAVE to see it. I wasn't planning to before, so thanks for that. I'm currently watching Space Cowboys (hopefully my mom doesn't change the channel). I've seen it before, but it's a movie I enjoy enough to watch over and over. 7/10

I just watched a bit of Snow Day. I love that movie. The kids vs the Plow man is great. 8/10

Today was a lazy day after working yesterday. I have played Diablo 2 and watched tv. Also ate and bugged the puppy. I am about to surrender the computer to my sister and go to my room, maybe watch a movie or play a game.

I think I mentioned something about that in my first post of the thread. If melee was weaker, it might be okay. But as things are right now, it would just make the triangle even more of a line.

I watched about half of Fahrenheit 9/11 last night before I fell asleep. Michael Moore makes me laugh, and laugh I did. 8/10

I agree. Dr Pepper just isn't any good in my opinion. I just got home from work (on a Saturday! I hate the new schedule guy...) I spent almost all of today listening to my iPod, though, so it wasn't too bad.

Releasing the D Med to F2P and paying membership to have a D Med have two completely different effects. Releasing it to F2P would boost it's price, making it a worthwhile drop. Even if 10000 new members with 60 Def bought dragon med helms tomorrow, it wouldn't really change much. releasing d med would mean releasing the whole 'dragon' set... no thanks Actually, releasing the helm alone would be alright. Helmets don't look that bad if they don't match, anyway. I still don't see a very good reason to release them to F2P, though.
