right click my computer > properties > advanced tab > preformance section, settings > advanced tab > then click the virtual memory change tab. Set it anywhere between 1500-2000mbs.

Without commander? Yes, and without cheating. I don't know how I did it but I did :) . I was using the medic kit so that may make up for some of the score. The map was Strike at Karkand (the best map ever, besides for road to jalalabad).

Getting a score of 165 in Battlefield2 durring a normal 64 man server game. There were 50 people in the server so not one of those high pionts servers if thats what your thinking. Or when I was playing 007 on the N64 a few years back with 3 other people. I pwned them all :) . An Old but good game. I played it a few weeks ago at a friend's house (luckily he kept his) I am quite rusty at it. Or getting a chain drop from the Queen in Runescape. Was a good moment then, but now I don't care because I quit. Don't pm me asking for it because a lucky friend of mine has it now.

Usaly if it's a legal file it has very good download speeds. People are willing to share legal stuff :wink: . I was getting my full download speed (200kbs) last night downloading it. I have never had a download not finish after a certan percent is downloaded. Maybe I'm just lucky :) .

When a file is that big I use a torrent to download it. I can pause it when ever I want, if something happens and my internet goes down I can just resume it afterwards.

Don't expect to get the tricks down on the first try. It will never happen, even for the pros. I suggest not doing any tricks for about 1-2 weeks and just ride around getting a good feel for the board anf get some good balance. Learn the ins and outs of turning and how not to get off balance when you push. After you feel comfortable with all of that move on to the ollie, practice this trick as much as possible. It is the stepping stone for every other trick. Try practicing of the grass or a carpet (ask you parents first) to get down the motion and the trick so you can try them moving. All tricks are better when you have speed, be riding when preforming tricks. Trust me, if you get a feel for doing all your tricks moving it will help you out later doing tougher tricks. Oh yeah this is kinda of obvious but get some skate shoes, don't use basketball shoes or anything because they will rip easier and you may not be able to preform tricks as good or at all. If you have Itunes there's a podcast called DC Trick Tips, it shows you how to do some more advanced tricks. It's helped me out a lot.

I take a shower to get all the filth off me then I take a bath to relaxe. A bath is the way to go, especaly if your sore from sports.

3dmark stresses the graphics card to the max, In the tests no one is suppose to get tons of frames (meaning 50+). You could also run the games on lower resolution then the test is using. The cpu score is suppose to be that low. I get 3fps with an Opteron 144 (2.7ghz). 06 is based on dual core cpus so you will get low frames. Since you have a card that can only do SM2.0 and 06 is based on SM3.0 I would suggest using 05 to get a "True" score to compare to others.

3Dmark is based mostly on the graphics card so your laptop is not going to do well because it likely has onboard graphics.

Does the wireless card support WPA2 encryption? Have you updated the routers firmware? How is that the only availiable option? There should be a lot more encryption choices. This seems like a stupid question that you probily already have done. Have you entered the encrption key onto the wireless card?

I would love a good game of Battlefield2 :) . Other games I would like to play would be Doom (1-3) or quake (3 or 4). Quake3 would be a lot of fun in a nice battle royal! I'm no good at Quake so it would be cool to see how bad I get owned.

There is no way he can run XP on that computer. The only upgrades you could possibly do with a computer that old is more ram, bigger (maybe faster) hard drive, and maybe put in a graphics card.

Isn't the Core 2 duo the first TRUE dual core cpu? All Intel's chips before have just been 2 single cores stuck together. I don't know about AMD, are the X2's 2 single cores or a true dual core?

I don't know where you live but a CD over here in the US is $10-$15. Why do you think buying from Itunes is bull? Because you need to pay for it?

I don't see any brand on that memory. I suggest getting something with a brand on it. Major brands would be: Patriot, Crucial, Corsair, OCZ and Kingston.

Since you have pc2700 ram I'm guessing you have ddr ram. You would need to get the model number of your computer and get the motherboard details to see how many ram slots your motherboard has. Or you could open up your computer and check. Taken from Diminished2b on another thread. The DIMM slots are for the memory.

Whats A4 paper? Could I do this with like full sheet photo paper? I would like to use my own printer so how much ink will it use for about a 6 sheet by 6 sheet wide poster? A rough guess would be nice, don't need any exact numbers or anything.

I would upgrade the ram. Increase your ram to 512mb or 1gb, the later being the recomended upgrade. The hard drive you can upgrade but only if your running out of space on your current hard drive. If not, you wont see any preformance increase from the extra disk space.

You have ddr266 from what I can make out from the small picture. Which is pretty slow for ddr. You can either replace all the ram with ddr400 or just stick with the drr266 and get another 256mb stick or something.

The pc2100 is the speed of he memory. Download the program in my other post and take a screenshot of the memory tab to see what speed memory you need. Good stores would be Compusa and Bestbuy. Compusa being first because their usally cheaper. Be warned you will pay more in a store than online.
