Using artificial sun light make the weed better. I believe weed does not have a good chance of living outside if it's not at a stand still temperature (correct me if I'm wrong). Thats how it is up here in Massachusetts, I don't know about other places though.

I have considered it, but I would rather have surround sound. I like the surround sound for when I game because it adds to the realness and I know if there's somebody behind me :P .

Well I have some crap $60 ogitech speakers that got ripped out of the plug too many times and the rear speakers don't work anymore. So I need to get some new speakers. I don't know too much about speakers, so I don't really know what to get. My budget is about $200 I will be using with a X-fi Xtreame music soundcard. These will be used for games and listening to music. One thing is that I don't want the wires to go across the middle of my floor like my current speaker set-up. I would like wireless speakers, or to buy some speaker extension cables so I can wire them correctly :D . I don't have a clue about what type of cable I will need, so I will need help on that too.

The dust was going to be my next thing to do :) . What you can do is take some compressed air and spray in into the fans and get all the dust out. Do not do this while the computer is on. Make sure you get all the big clumps completely out of the case and not just transferring the dust to another component.

Yup it's worth it for me because I live in the U.S. so we don't get shafted on the prices like in europe :wink: .

I think we found the problem. It has to be overheating if those temps are right. On the left side it says none of the fans are spinning, that may be that they are plugged in dirrectly into the power supply and not the motherboard. Try opening up your case while it's running and see if any of the fans are spinning, if not you need to buy new ones ASAP. Running at those temps, I'm surprised the processor hasn't already fried. What are your system specs, like your processor, operating system ect.?

If you think it's overheating, download this program. http://www.almico.com/speedfan.php This program is called speedfan and will tell you the current temperature of your computer. Tell us your system specs, the idle temps (when your not doing anything with the computer), and the full load temps (when playing a game ect.)

Doing a quick search on google most people have a temp of 75c under full load. If you have temps reaching 100c while playing the game, I think it's over heating. Try playing the game with the side pannel of your case off and see if that helps drop the temp, it may drop them enough to stop the color distortion. Parabola's suggestion of running the fan at 100% all the time is a good idea too.

Minimum requirements usually mean that the game will just start-up, but that doesn't mean you will be able to play it :wall: .

It would have nothing to do with the registry. It sounds like something to do with the drivers. Check and make sure you have the latest (and the correct) drivers installed. Get the driver directly from the manufacturer's website. When updating drivers make sure you un-install the previous driver from add/remove programs and then install the new one. Always restart when told to do so.

What kind of files from XP? I took a hard drive from another computer to back-up everything on my computer before I switched. I could get everything off the drive with no problems under vista.

1gb is fine for most of today's games, although more and more game are requiring 1.5gb-2gb to run on high detail. If you have the cash get 2gb, if not get 1 ram stick of 1gb and you can add another one later. If you can also afford to get a $300 graphics card, the 8800GTS 320mb would be able to run almost every game on high, and is more future proof because it's running DX10.

I upgraded to Vista Home Premium 2 weeks ago. I don't notice it any slower in program performance than XP. I have not noticed any glitches either. Yes there are some problems, but it's not Microsoft's fault. It's the driver makers fault, if they don't release drivers for Vista or release bugging drivers, obviously there's going to be slow downs and bugs. Lucky for me, all of my components have Vista drivers available, except for my printer, but the built in Vista driver worked perfect. Another thing which is really useful is that you can plug in a flash drive and it will use space on the drive for the page file and not the hard drive. The access times are almost non existent., unlike a normal hard drive. I did see some speed improvement when I did this. Only think about upgrading if you have MORE than 1gb of ram.

I was just playing some ps1 games yesterday on my psp (emulator). My favorite game would be Dave Mirra, crash (all of them), spyro the dragon. Crash for the ps1 was the best, soon as they started coming out for the ps2, it just wasn't the same anymore :( .

Have you tried taking out the router and plugging the modem directly into your computer?

I am currently going to my school gym everyday (or most days)after school and weightlifting. I also do normal sit ups, crunches, pushups, and those reverse sit ups on a bench thing that works your back muscles. If I'm not at school doing them, i'm home doing them. I also run a lot at track practice, which is 3 times a weeks, monday, tuesday, and thursday. I will start baseball in a month which will be more exercise. Although baseball is not a very demanding sport to be fit in. I also skateboard on the weekends. I haven't worked out in a week (except for sit ups) because of a wrist injury, so it's going to be a hard workout on monday :) . I wont post how many reps or how much weight i do simply because i rather not try to compete with somebody on a forum how much better/worse I am compared to them.

He is incorrect on that. It seems that you already have both of them plugged in, just not set up correctly. You will need to go into your display properties click onto the second monitor in the drop down box and click "extend my windows desktop onto this monitor"

Vista is not more than XP, if you buy an OEM copy :D . Windows Vista Home Premium for $120 :)

We did this thing in the Career Center where they showed us what colleges look for. Basically, if your parents went to a college and still donate then you have a much better chance at getting in. I really don't like the US education system, though. I'm currently stuck with one of the harder grading things, with 94 being an A. My friends who live just an hour away live on a 90 or 92 lowest A. Not to mention that teachers always show favoritism, which I plan to test at the end of this semester. Our teacher does notebook checks, which basically means that she looks to see if our binders have EVERYTHING she gave us in the quarter in the EXACT, picky order that she awnts. If they're not, then our grade gets punished. We need to revamp the education system somehow.. My teacher does the same notebook check thing. Last year being a freshman i tested my teacher's favoritism. I planned this set up for a little while, such as not putting my name on any of the homework pages (they are not passed in, just checked everyday). I passed my binder in, he gave me a 80%, which is not too bad but I thought I had everything in it. I quickly gave it to my friend to pass in for his and he gets a 92% for the SAME binder. Me and my friend showed this to the principal and he said "there's nothing I can do" and just tried to get us out of his office.
