  1. you can try Tinypic, it says there's no size limit but I have only tested that up to a 1mb image. http://tinypic.com/
  2. If it's one hard drive with two partitions you can take space from one and add it to another with a program called partition magic. If you have 2 physical hard drives and wanted to make them into one drive that you see under windows, you would need to put them in a RAID array. I'm not too familiar with raid so you would need somebody more experienced to help you out.
  3. Oh yes, thats what I'm hoping for in 6 months. I would upgrade to a mid-ranged dx10 card then. Would my current power supply support all of this? I have an Enermax 480w with 20A on 12v1 and 22A on 12v2. I'm guessing a yes, but just to make sure :) .
  4. Yea, that's what I meant :| I just didn't know a word for it in English. Now I know what it's called in English, thanks :) By the way sometimes heat sink doesn't come with a processor, and you have to buy one, usually people go for the cheaper aluminum ones (237 W/(m̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâ÷K) at 300 K),than significantly more expensive copper ones (401 W/(m̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâ÷K) at 300 K) with powerful fans . Also I know if it doesn't get in contact well (heat sink with processor) then it will start overheating. As for the video card heat sink, my 32 mb Nvidia GeForce 2 had a very crappy one (IF it even had one, but they are supposed to, aren't they :uhh: ), video card later corrupted because of constant overheat and I started getting all those strange graphical deformations in games, and colorful dots on the desktop and elsewhere. I had to buy a new one. Also if it's hot in the room or the case is closed, guess what air it blows with... Yes, hot air, I noticed that in summer time when I tried playing Half-Life 2, computer restarted due to the overheat. Opening the case usually helps, but some people think it actually heats up the computer. In my case, it's cooler when the case is open. Also try keeping your room temperature not too hot. Og, your talking about an OEM processor that is just the processor and nothing else. I was saying the heatsink that comes with retail processors or pre-builts are fine for none overclocking. About your graphics card, that card was so old it may of only needed a heatsink and not a fan.
  5. Hmm.. well I know the graphics card and the proccessor can handle it. I suppose I am running out of ram which is causing the issue. I'll try lowering the details and see what happens. Thx for the info. ~Defender~ It's not about being able to handle it, it's about being able to cool down fast enough ;) Some video cards come with (VERY) bad, cheap fans. Same with the processor fan, my average computer temperature is 50̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâð, my friend's average temperature is 65̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâð. Why? Because his fan is made out of aluminum, and aluminum isn't a very good material to make the fan with since it doesn't transfer heat well. Also revolutions per minute matter, but it is rarely a problem, at least I've never heard of a problem like that. All I know is that if your fan FULLY stops or computer will stop receiving data from it, your computer will fully turn off and refuse to turn on unless everything works properly again. :XD: (I checked that one myself.) Good luck. When your computer is starting, press either "delete" button or whatever it says when your computer is booting, then enter your BIOS. From there you can check out your temperature, rpm, etc. If you aren't familiar with settings there and what exactly they do, make sure you don't change anything and exit BIOS without saving new changes (if you accidentally made any.) Fans aren't made out of aluminum, the heatsinks are  . If he doesn't have this thing overclocked, it should not be overheating. The stock heatsink that comes supplied on the graphics card and processor is enough to cool the components at stock speed. Defender, BF2142 just had a patch released today, make sure you have the latest.
  6. Well the time has come for a new computer to play my games better on a budget. I have about $450 to spend on just the 4 main components (motherboard, ram, graphics card, processor). Here is what I think is pretty good but I don't know too much about Intel motherboards. I would like this computer to be pretty much future proof so I can upgrade the processor sometime in the future. SAPPHIRE Radeon X1900GT 256MB 256-bit GDDR3 PCI Express x16 Video Card -$130 A-DATA 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 667 (PC2 5300) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory -$120 Intel Pentium D 915 Presler 2.8GHz 2 x 2MB L2 Cache LGA 775 Processor -$97 ABIT IL9 Pro LGA 775 Intel 945P ATX Intel Motherboard -$85 The motherboard I chose has 1333 fsb which I think might be more futureproof because the new processors are going to support that someday, right? The total comes to $431 or $441 with shipping. Comments? Suggestions? Incompatibilities? Any help is appreciated, thanks in advance :D
  7. Hmm.. well I know the graphics card and the proccessor can handle it. I suppose I am running out of ram which is causing the issue. I'll try lowering the details and see what happens. Thx for the info. ~Defender~ Are the games fully patched? Do you have the latest drivers installed?
  8. Agreed. As much as the staff will deny it (omg you're singling out users!!11!1), it's needed to stop stupid advice that could potentially destroy hardware (suggesting removing heat syncs to fix over heating problems come to mind...). Another one that I see all the time and no one corrects is telling someone to remove the case cover to theoretically lower the case temperature. That will do just the opposite though, it ruin the designed airflow on a computer case since the intake will blow air in creating slightly higher pressure and the exhaust will blow the how air out creating slightly lower pressure in the case. If you remove the case then it will not work like designed. On Topic: You shouldn't touch the red slider thing because it will cause it to expect a current of another country such as the US having 120 V and Europe having around 200V not to mention a different frequency. Good luck on getting the computer fixed and hope that the PSU was the problem with the original problem and it didn't fry your mother board. Removing the side panel on a case would drop the temps because the computer will have cooler air to move around to the components. If you don't know already, room temperature air is almost always cooler than the air inside your pc. If you have a fan on the side panel of the case and then remove the panel, you probably would raise the temps because thats one less fan.
  9. I thought it was imposible to have components running under room temp with air cooling? If you think of it the fan are pushing you guessed it, room temperature air to the components. There's noway that cpu is running at 14c. I think Everest is reading the motherboard sensor wrong.
  10. If you didn't know why did you post in the first place? Stop spaming these forums. As to the original poster's question, the phone must meet the system reqirements and have java installed on the phone and then it probily still will not work. If you do manage to run Runescape the screen resolution is so small on a phone you will need to do a lot of scrolling to see the full screen.
  11. I agree with the graphics, but the physics on the dead bodies usually end up being visible by you only. I'm pretty sure there's more players playing 1.6. You sure more people play 1.6? http://www.xfire.com/ That could mean that theres less people that play longer on source than 1.6 but it's 7 times higher so there must be more people. I prefer source over 1.6 only because I have played it more than 1.6.
  12. anybody know how to get into Qbasic from Vista? I know in XP you just need to type in "qbasic" into the run comand box but in Vista it doesn't work. Did it even come with Vista?
  13. When taking out the ram sticks only run with 1 ram stick in at once. Then keep swapping that single one out. If Memtest didn't find an error I don't think it would be the ram :? . Although it wouldn't hurt to try swapping ram sticks just to be on the safe side.
  14. Don't do this. Windows need a paging file to run properly or your computer will be slower. People can only disable the page file if you are running more than 2gb of ram. Mercifull did you try using Memtest as I suggested? Leave in running for a couple hours or so. If you can, leave it running over night.
  15. Rise Against - Prayer of a Refugee What can I say? It's an awesome song :) .

wow u sure broke a lot, i onyl broke my ankle :) and u r right about ur tip Well never go to a pro skatepark you should be good :) . I was trying to gap a 10 set before I could even do a 6 :wall: . This skatepark was so awsome you had to sign a waver that said they are not liable for injuries  .
  17. Let's start with the obvious. Have you tried running a defrag? I would try a scandisk just to rule out a bad hard drive. Also, use the program memtest86 to scan for memory errors.

Another tip is: Don't be afraid to fall. If your scared of getting hurt then this is not your sport, skateboarding has many risks with the bigger tricks and if your not willing to take the risk you will never be good. I have broken both my arms, my wrist, my foot and lots of fingers so be prepared for broken bones (or at least lots of sprained ankles).

I think your both wrong on some pionts. Yes there are some skateboarders that are druggies and are just plain jerks, but that isn't all of them, there are a lot of decent and nice skateboarders out there. Most people's opinions of skateboarding are stereotypes or stuff they see for a few seconds outside that they don't know the whole story or read a biased story in a newspaper. You say that skateboarders are in places they shouldn't be? Such as a car park or a set of stairs? Most cities don't have a skatepark or it's the biggest piece of **** that anybody has ever seen. People who don't know a thing about skateboarding may say it's good, but the true skaters would rather skate something better, like a set of stairs. Like my city for example, they built a skatepark here 4 years ago and it looked like they built it for less than $500. My city has a problem with skaters skating in spots their not supposed to, so they built that skatepark, they still have a skater problem. Three cities over from me built an awsome skatepark which they brought in designers, even got some kids to suggest special ramps to put in, now you barely see anybody that skates not at that skatepark.
  20. Processors and motherboards are not 1 unit, but the processor does plug into the motherboard but can be taken out. You didn't reset the physical jumper switch? Then what did you reset the first time?
  21. If you only overclocked by 23mhz it would not overheat if it wasn't overheating at stock speed. Although some motherboard's are **** and fry overclocking at all over stock speed and you may have one of those. If you do want to overclock after getting a new motherboard read tons of guides, read every overclocking guide you can find before you do any overclocking. K7's ran on socket A, they stopped making them a long time ago so good luck finding a new motherboard. You may have to look on Ebay for one.
  22. Are you sure you reset the bios properly? How much did you overclock this chip? How much extra voltage did you give it? What kind of processor is it? The motherboard is probilly not fried if you were overclocking the processor. Even if you added extra voltage to the chipset the motherboard should not allow to add so much that it fried just like that.
  23. Well my answers are the bolded part of stuff I have tried or I am using. Winamp may work now, I tried 3 weeks ago.
  24. Most people that are having problems with Vista crashing is because of the drivers or another huge reason is that their memory isn't stable. Vista actively uses all of the available memory, unlike XP. Which means if you have any bad spots or overclocked too much you will have memory errors and maybe have full system reboots or the blue screen of death (yes it still exists in vista). That is what happend to me when I though I had my memory stable using XP . I upped it another .1v and I have not had a Vista crash since. The only thing I don't like in 64-bit is the use of signed drivers only. It's used to stop illegal drivers getting installed to copy movies and other stuff, but most people just want to overclock their videocard and can't because of the no signed drivers. I am specifically talking about ATITool. There's a way to turn it off until next system reboot but no permanent fix yet :( .

wow that's so wrong for so many reason, get good untill u go in public, awefull jstu cuz we bail ,jeez ain't even comenting on that. Eh, he's kind of right. Another example would be that it's a lot like the unwritten rule in the gallery forum where you shouldn't post your first pixel sig. Sometimes though when you skate you may look really bad, doesn't mean you are. The person could be trying a new trick the whole day and only land it a couple times and bail the other 100. Such as with me when I was trying a double kickflip off a 5 set two weeks ago :x . Can any of you guys land an impossible? I need some tips on how to land it, or even do it. I heard it's like a 360 shove it, which I can do. who cares if you look bad? jsut skate for urself! double kickflip down the 5 is pretty tight ofcourse if u ain't lying. impossible are like 360 shoves but it goes around ur back foot, i don't wana meess with those tricks but did it a few times when i was jokign around with my buddies. A double on a 5 set is not tight at all, kickflips are very easy to get a second rotation on. All you have to do is flick your foot harder. It also really depends how you do the kickflips, some people flick with the side of their foot and I flick with the toe, which allows me to flick it faster.
