  2. shouldn't take to long, there around 4mb each to download. Hijackthis is around 500kb i think
  3. scan with ad-aware http://www.lavasoft.com scan with with spybot search and destroy (google for link) then scan with you anti-virus software. (use housecall online if you dont have one) http://www.trendmicro.com Then post a hijackthis log. To download go to http://www.merijn.org. To post a log scan with the program, a window will pop-up, copy the WHOLE log and post it on here. Make sure your definitions are updated

first thing you have to do is UPDATE your windows. You don't even have SP1 neverless SP2. It is urgent that you go to windowsupdate.microsoft.com and install ALL critical updates
  5. yes It does do ti while i'm at my desktop. I do not have anything relating to my mx 510 in the control panel, just the normal mouse page. When i go into that, it does have costom setting for my mouse. None that would fix that problem (like merc suggested). I looked and loocked all over setting in there, nothing  .
  6. just checked again, not there :x . I asked a freind, he said he doesn't know how to fix it. He did say it's called something to "locate" the mouse pionter, if that gives any mroe info at all.
  7. I did what you said, it wasn't there  . I'm using mx510 logitech mouse with the drivers and stuff, so it might be different from the "normal" mouse. Any other ideas please? It lost me the #1 spot on call of duty yesterday

  9. Are you using IE to veiw this site? Use firefox to browse every website besides runescape (since you have problems with java). IE is full of sercurity holes, thats why you should use firefox  I use firefox for this site, never have gotten a pop up.
  10. hmm pop ups? never got any, might be spyware. Download ad-aware and spybot search and destroy, update to the latest definitions, and then scan. Make sure your computer is all patched from windowsupdate.microsoft.com
  11. it's a known bug with firefox. It has to do with java. When playing runescape (or anything with java) it can start happening. I think it's fixed in 1.0.4 http://www.getfirefox.com and download the newest version. If it still happens then the bug is not fixed. Here's an alternitive solution use the runescape client for playing runescape and firefox for everything else.
  12. of corse it's froned upon, it's vilolense(sp). I lose my temper easily sometimes, and other times i can put up with alot.
  13. i hate jamster too. On mtv and comedy central almost every break has 1 jamster comercial, atleast sometimes 2.
  14. this is interesting, would like to see some more pics. I hope your doing better. For the pics can you make them smaller? (in size) I cant see the whole pic in one screen and gets confusing to scroll all over the place to see it. If i was older(only 13), i would have beet the ......you know.... out of him. I would have taken his camera and thrown it right at his truck and said get the ..... off my lawn and stop spying on me. Then called the cops. :D
  15. lag is probily right from a bad internet conection. if you have dial-up there is realy nothing to do about it. If you have dsl/cable internet you might have a bad conection. Turn off your modem and wait 1 min, then turn on again. Since it's a "double" screen i would suggest getting the runescape client from http://www.runescape.com it will speed up runescape on slow computers.
  16. The reason why is that the alanta servers went down (don't know about others). Since they did, they "lock" your account if you were logged in while they crashed.
  17. to get into safe mode press f8 repetedly when your computer loads up. Then select safe mode with networking fomr the list. For ad-aware and spybot (and all your other scanners) make sure they are all updated with the lastest definitions. Your IE is some-what out of date, please update your windows with ALL updates from windowsupdate.microsoft.com
  18. I have an emachines computer too! :D For your memory your graphics card is intergrated so it takes up some of your ram. So you have a 128mb card 384+128=512 (i hope you got that without the math problem  ) All emachines graphic card are intergrated (so is mine) but they are desent and fast. I have the same specs on my computer as you. I think my amd 3200 is at 2.2 ghz tho. edit: on another note since i have the same specs (little higher cpu) as you just to add i have never had any problems with my computer going "to" fast.
  19. To tell the truth i have never realy learned anything from runescape, besides the game itself. Runescape is just a good way to kill time. Or when i get badly hurt from skateboarding  I think tip.it has got me interested into computers and got to improve my grammer. When i joined tip.it's forums i had realy bad grammer and acted very childish, but now i can use good grammer (almost) all the time. If it wasn't for morpg (runescape) i wouldn't be here on tip.it :D .
  20. Who are you talking to on this? If it was my post, I thought it was thought out and logical. I guess not if it was about mine
  21. Then people say they are over weight from eating junk food, what about all the videogames that people play. Most people that are adicted don't get exercise or eat right. Which leads to people sueing mc donalds for being fat. It's ok to play 1 hour a day but not all day. People, get outside and do something (no not just playing on a laptop outside  ). You will probily thank youself later for not playing this game as much and find something better to do. Another thing is it's not good for your eye's to be starring at a monitor the whole day. If your woundering i still play runescape, but only around 30mins a day. I am usaly outside all the time skateboarding or playing a sport.
  22. sorry for such a long post First problem: When i start/restart my computer and log-in, i get 2 install new hardware pop up screens. I did not install new hardware or mess with any other devices. secound problem: (which i posted before) My internet keeps locking up. I had this problem maybe 3 weeks ago, and fixed by a re-install of my firewall (zonealarm). I tried re-installing again, worked for a day. Any ideas on this one? third problem My firewall (zonealarm) says that it has blocked 522 access atemps and 489 intrusions have been blocked since install. I only installed zonealarm 3 weeks ago (see above). So is that a MAJOR problem? 23. we need the top part of the log also
  24. did you restart your computer after the update? If you didn't it still might not reconize it. If you already did restart, then i'm stumped
  25. i see your using firefox for this. You MUST use IE for windows update. To lock folders just have your dad/mom make you a user acount, then no1 but you and administrator accounts can view YOUR files/folders.
