  1. I like to be self suffient, and is most of the time. Sometimes I slip though, I cant stand making cannon balls so I buy them, using a lot of my income on that. And since rune essence mining is so bad exp, I bought a lot of essence. I fished most of my food, cooked it all. Mined most my ores, but have bought a little steel/coal through the years. Cut most of my logs for fletching but have bought some. And so on. Pots and herbs is I think the only thing I never bought, but of course I had someone mix them for me from my selfcollected herbs before I could do it myself. I *never* sell raw materials. I have invested my time in collecting it, I will get that investment back in experience when using the raw materials. Same here, problem with that is that bank always if full ;)
  2. I would say they simply want a little more balance in the game
  3. Thats part of the thrill on doing level 3 clues, will I survive to the end or not? Myself I died as late as yesterday, and whoa how fast my hp dissapeared when I met that group of pkers  Learn to die with a laugh, and you will be fine
  4. OOOH YES!!! I sure miss my rune boobs
  5. To me, the most missed thing is Thrandor the smith. He used to stand in his smithy between Varrock east bank and Auburys rune shop, and was converting legs to skirts/skirts to legs for free. As long as he was around, legs and skirts had the same value in game. Now, skirts are worth a lot less, take for example all the treasure trail trimmed/god skirts and the dragon plate skirts. Oh how I wish him to come back. I also miss the RSC thieving when the npc attacked you when they caught you. That way you got combat exp and drops while thieving. Now you just stand stunned and waste your time... Regarding people being nicer in RSC - well the very first few months the game was public there was a nice community, but as the game grew larger and attracted more player, the jerks came. In fact I find it a lot better now, with have the ingame report option to report people misbehaving.

WHOA!!! Compared to you both, I seem to have absolutly nothing complain about  2 of mine was in the same day, but it was a few hours between them. When standing still and only alching I never got one though, just other randoms.
  7. Reminds me of when bones to bread was added to the game long time ago on RSC. Everyone was using it. Took a little while, and they changed it to bones to bananas. Judging from that, I am sure bones to peaches will be used pretty much for training once people realize it may be worth investing time and runes in. http://66.235.180.101/cgi-bin/np/viewnews.cgi?newsall Saturday, May 26, 2001
  8. To me the quests that give access to teleports and/or new areas are easily worth most. I cant pick one quest though :P I mean, imagine how much harder the everyday gaming would be without Ardounge teleport and the ectophial - I use those both very often. Watchtower tele, trollheim tele and the elf chrystals I use more seldom, but they sure are nice when I want to get to those areas. The gnome transportation systems - both spirit trees and gliders makes it so much easier to get to areas where you cant teleport. Access to the huge desert areas, Morytania, Tirannwn and several smaller areas as well like shilo village, grand tree Keldagrim among many others, not to mention access to different guilds - gives you a chance to really vary what you do and where you spend time. Edit: Thinking a little more about it, my choice is clear without any doubt though: Druidic ritual to start the Herblore skill! :D

You will get the items again on your coming mime events. I dropped my mime stuff many times because of bank space :P

So here I am, thinking Evil Bob is a rare random event. Until this week, I have only met him once in my whole runescape life. That has change. He has turned up and teleported me to his island 4 times this week. All the times I have been on slayer assignments, every time he turned up was when I high alched one of the drops I got. Has anyone had similar experiences with Evil Bob?
  12. How you get the clue doesnt matter. As for reward, its random but yes the good rewards are fairly rare. With level 1 clues you often just get a few runes, trout, studded armour and other junk. Its similar rare to get the good rewards with other level clues, though of course whats "junk" varies with level ;)
  13. nope, look at the map I posted the link to, find the general shop (which is near the keldagrim cart and pickaxe seller Nurmof), and go south from there.
  14. If I remember correct, there are 1 or 2 chests in the room south of the general store in the mine. http://tip.it/runescape/index.php?page=dwarven_mine.htm
  15. Ello Mythical, glad to see you got your real name back :) So true, myself I have been through 2 hard drive crashes since I started to play, so basically no old pics left.
  16. Yeah, they are truly wonderful, and well written from every aspect :D
  17. Lol, I had no clue there was frogland music, will get that one next time I see the prince  I have met the frogs 4 times so far, got 3 princess dresses collecting dust in my bank ;)
  18. Great guide, since its in addition to being well written also includes lots of humor :) Thanks for the laughs
  19. I was running from slayer tower towards Canifis, and reading boards at the same time - when I looked up I was surrounded by frogs ;)
  20. You must be pretty narrow minded to be so sure... Its a game that attracts all ages, that much is clear!
  21. Thats so true :) 36 here, playing runescape on and off from the start.
  22. I would like to put it differently: Stop bugging people about levels, especially strangers. If you want to know, use the hiscore lists please! Anyone who considers some1 saying "ranged lvl" bugging should have public chat off.. people have every right to ask simple questions and make small talk and should expect honest and polite answers. Anyone who ask peoples levels without even saying hi first should expect to be ignored. Same with people calling me my level. I am a person, not a number.

  24. Same here, and to use terms as left hand or right hand is in my opinion stupid as it depends on what way you are facing. It would have been much better if they had used compass directions, like southern or western or whatever it is.
  25. Whew, I just came out from the fight caves for the first time ever, and I'm completly shaky - and will definitly go in again! I came to the part with 360 and 90, screwed up with my prayers and died to the 306's mage attack. Thanks for a good guide :D
