*My arrow hits the Lesser Demon and deals 11 damage. Its dead. As I run towards its dead body, suddenly my Green Dragonhide chaps starts vibrating and making a loud noise... I dig deep down in my pocket and finds a strange looking device. On a little screen, it says with small, black letters: "One or more of your Grand Exchange offers has been updated.". "Whoa, nice to know", is my first thought, but then I start wonder: "Does cellhones really beong in this medieval setting...?* What do you think? How do they explain this communicating? Should it be a spell, or maybe an enchanted gem??

So, assume you have lvl 99 ranged, How high def lvl would you need to have some chance at getting one kill?

After killing a lot of the catablepons in SOS I have never gotten any Adamant med helm or any cosmic runes. These drops is either VERY rare, P2P-only or non-exsistant... So, maybe consider correcting this?

Well, id just say that it is obvious that you are not a mathematician(sp?). Cause everyone know that first you Divide and multiply, then you add and subtract, therefore you wont need those (). And it is right that your maxhit is what it is: 10+75/10 = 10+7.5 =17.5

I mine 500 iron (50,000 worth, NOT BUYING) I buy 1000 coal (200,000 worth) at 200GP/EA smith them into 500 steel bars Sell the bars (250,000 worth) at 500GP/EA Or I could buy 500 iron for 100GP/EA, and sell the bars for 100GP/EA more. Where could I sell the bars? to other players? Shops? Or what? Why would you want to sell the bars for 500gp ea when you easily can sell them for 600gp ea? Oh, and sell on the forum. It is always buyers there!

Iron is about 100gp ea, Coal is about 200gp ea and steelbars is about 600gp ea. And yes, Id think of this as the fastest way of training smithing, while gaining money.

Mine, clay, iron, coal, mith addy or rune depeding on your mining lvl. Quite good money!

Mine clay, make soft clay, fire bowls and drop. Rinse and repeat. All in crafting guild.

Yup, that's just about right. After smelting about 30k steelbars id say more like 400-500 per hour. allthough you will have to concetrate a bit then... Ok, lets see: Smelting one steelbar gives 17.5 xp Smelting one addybar gives 37.5xp Therefore one load of steelbars (9 bars = 9 iron + 18 coal) gives 157.5xp And one load of addybars (4 bars = 4 addy + 24 coal) gives 150xp But wait! It takes shorter time to smelt four bars than nine bars! As a conclusion Id say they are both equal when talking about xp/hour, but as steelbars gives better profit id go for SPARTAAA... no, wait... STEELBARS! BTW: If iron is 100gp ea, coal 200gp ea, addy ore 900gp ea, steelbars 600ea and addybars is 2.2kea; Steelbars would make 900gp ea load and addybars would make 400gp ea load. Therefore: SPARTAAA... uhm... STEELBARS!

I know for a fact that genral stores buy willow logs for 12gp when they have none in stock and 4gp when they have max in stock. That means that it is only 33% percent of the original price, anyone else?

Im sorry guys, I wont update this topic anymore. I dont feel like bumbing every half an hour and I really dont think it is very interesting, neither for you or me. Thanks gals for wishing me good luck. Today will mainly contain steel smelting (about 6.5k at the start of the day), but may also fade into a range lvl... Oh, and Nje03, would you be so kind to post a reply in my catablepon-thread if you test them. some more feedback could have been great! Thank you for the support guys! I think ill actually manage to get that egg.. Oh, and thiesje, I have smelted aboout 20k before, so that really shouldnt be a problem. And remember: "Everything is possible, the impossible just takes a little longer"
