  1. Congratulations to everyone that is pleased with their scores!!
  2. I agree with this. Though involving the authorities will probably take a lot of time and effort. The best way to deal with bad neighbours is to get rich so that you don't have them.
  3. Mine is growing long. I just did my second year of uni, and haven't cut it since arriving. It's just an experiment for me, at what other time will I be able to just leave my hair without cutting it? It amuses me to see peoples' reactions when I don't fit their stereotypes. Keeps them guessing. I'll get it cut once I have to start getting job interviews. Also helps me appreciate what it's like being a girl. Long hair can be a pain.
  4. No. I don't enjoy shopping. When shopping, my only mission is to get what I need, so I can go onto better things. In addition, the first thing I notice about a product is the price tag.

    letting go.

Keep busy and don't try to rush it. It'll happen one day, but if you're constantly thinking of ways to force it, that won't let you forget. It's just a feeling, and if you don't let it stop you doing other things, it's ok :)

    Date me

take a camera, and give her something small like a teddy, to remember your 1 month by in future :)
  7. I used to be eurosceptic.. however I'm changing my mind now. Firstly because America is a bad ally for Britain, and secondly because countries like China and India are starting to have an important voice in politics, and the separated countries in the EU will be ignored more and more. The bureaucracy and politics of an effective EU will be difficult to overcome.. so I'd say we need to get on with it now before it is too late.

    Forgive and Forget?

It's psychologically healthier to forgive and forget. However.. it's all very well to want to do it.. but how do you go about it? The more you think about it.. the less you forget.
  9. I suspect that's not going to get any easier as you go to uni, and then out into the 'real world'.
  10. Do after-school activities because they'll make you a better person... more mature.. more capable of taking on responsibility.. more knowledgable about how the world works... more interesting to talk to.
  11. Just to clarify, does the UK support Israel? The last time I heard, everyone in the world wanted an immediate end to hostilities except the USA, who wanted to drag things out as long as possible. I counted that as the UK going in a seperate direction from the USA, and considering how much the UK usually just sucks up, that's a pretty big negative statement in the diplomatic world. (then again, I've been on holiday for the weekend, so things may have changed)
  12. Yea, when I was about 5 or 6 or something.. but of course that doesn't count. :) And thanks, I was lucky :P
  13. I think that attacking Hezbollah will just make it stronger. Hezbollah will now get more money and covert support from Muslim countries. Israel doesn't even have the support of the non-Muslim world in this attack, and now civillians on both sides are dying in increasing numbers and it's just looking like Israel is the aggressor.
  14. Wine/Champagne with the meal would easily bump the price over $50.
  15. Buying jewellery is more than you need. Same with clothes. I like to tell people that the clothes I'm wearing cost about 3 times more than they actually were. No one can tell the difference, even the fashion 'experts'. Then they tell me how nice my clothes are. People are idiots :)
  16. 18 : - was good. However, since she reads this forum, I'm hardly likely to say otherwise!! :P
  17. Woo! Go Geeks! But yea.. Don't bother spending much time considering stereotypes. There are far more exceptions than people that fit the rule. People just date who they want in their own unique random way, and most don't have a clue about what kind of person they're going to fall far until it happens :D And that's why it's so special and exciting :D

    The Heat

I made the mistake of being English (thus pale) and going to the beach on Monday. Now I'm sunburnt and dying. So kids: Don't do beach. You'll pay for it later.

    Appearance?

Nobody cares. ^^ Where did that come from, you ask? What's up with people constantly whining about boys and girls not liking them, who you are by what clothes you wear and poser outfits yea... I agree.. tip.it OT has gone decidedly teenage angst recently. it's so weird. at one time.. we were rather angsty. yet, we got over it.. and now it seems such such such a pathetic time, and for no reason. what made us get over it though? you guys got old yea, but what was it about getting old? surely there's something we can tell them to make them snap out of it? like "nobody cares" except that doesn't work though it should. Dusqi I think you're the one to do it Everybody loves you and they will listen to you Yea, you're right Sweet, Dusqi. Our new hero is going to cause a revolution in the off topic forum the days of teenage angst are over.
  20. Voting is for RICH people! :D:D:D
  21. Everyone goes for looks, but perhaps you will one day find a guy who considers you good looking :D
  22. I think games should allow currency trading from the game to real life. There can still be 'special' items, only available through hard work ingame rather than simply being rich in real life. It works for other online games.
  23. You're just making a big deal out of nothing. There's nothing you need to "remember". Just talk if you have something to say, if there's something you want to know, or if you just enjoy doing it. It might not be your fault if you have problems and are being mature about it. The girls themselves might just be making it difficult by being immature. Don't pressure yourself. They're just girls. You don't need to put on a good show or something. It's a conversation - and if it has a purpose, then it'll be fine.
  24. This sounds interesting and unusual, would you like to tell us more about that? Where is the writing? What colour is it? How does it change when you think of other thoughts?
