yea, noticed the thing about logging out. I logged while writing the post, and lost those crucial kgs. When I was doing it though, I made sure I didn't log out in case something like that happened.

Approximately 7 months ago, Tip It researcher Manoman, AKA Who Le Ow, posed a question, or rather started a quest, to find out what the maximum weight you could have in Runescape. Now, I have never met him, but I have always been intrigued by his thread, Maximum Weight Possible. After seeing how close to 1000 kg he came, he's had the goal of getting there. He looked everywhere to find the heaviest items possible, going so far as to discover that addy is the heaviest of all metals. Well, Who Le Ow, I did it. Due to an unknown bug, i was given a base weight of 61 kg tonight. I've yet to figure out how, but I was given it, and so, I set out to complete his quest. Following his method, everything he had on him, down to the location where he announced to the world. OK, first off I'd like to state what this thread is for. Have you ever sought just one single item from a monster? One drop? Ever train for months so you can try and get it, only to kill a ridiculous number of the monster, and still not get it? Then this thread is for you. This thread is to discuss certain monsters that you just can't seem to get a drop from. For me, it's skeletal wyverns. I literally have kill over 400 without a granite leg drop. I was seeing posts when BA came out of people getting two leg drops within 150 kills. And here I am 400 kills and counting and still, nothing. Am I cursed? I think so. It was the same way with my granite shield from trolls. It took me about 6 hours of killing to get. One of my friends joined me at one point, lvl 86 cb..., and got it in under 10 minutes. I'm cursed for any and all granite drops.

just wanted to dredge this up and see if any one has any new data for this study. I've had it bookmarked for about the last 3 months to refer to while dharoking

this may be a little far fetched, but changing the subject slightly, The granite helm came out today. There's a guy in menaphis that talks about making granite armour, or at least customizing it. Maybe there's a possibility that they don't want granite so easily obtained for that reason? Maybe they want it hard(er) to make that armour.

That was probably one of the most eloquent articles I have yet seen written for the times. It is a thoroughly thought out and supported piece of rational reasioning against what one considers offensive. But my favorite part of it was how he summed it all up: "How you act when no one is looking is the clearest indicator of the strength or depravity of your true character. " Absolutely compelling.

i would recommend the use of veracs on these guys. And as for the person with 3 drops in 200 kills... I envy you. I'm at about 150 and none, ever. Then again that was a few months ago...

imps, I have probably killed more imps than any other low leveled npc/monster in the game. Everytime I see an imp, I have to kill it...

I cannot figure out how to get this clue to work. It says "Blow raspberries outside the entrance to Keep Le Faye. Equip a coif, an iron platebody, and leather gloves." I did that and nothing happened, went to the back entrance did it again nothing happened. Are those the only items i'm allowed to have on me at the time too? a little help would be appreciated.

Alright, everyone stop. This potion has never, I repeat, never had any use. It has never been used in a quest nor been used for any actual skill. All it is is a small item that takes of space in your inventory, your bank, and memory space on the server. I have played since before the dragon slayer came out, so trust me, I think I know what I'm talking about. (If you've played since before fally, feel free to argue). The "Potion" is the same as the flier that tells you to buy your axes from Bob's axes in Lumbridge, all it does is sit there and get examined. To answer where it comes from, you can get it from the apothecary in varrock by asking about any potions he's giving away. And yes I think it is also dropped from imps, tho not one of their more common drops. All that being said, please quit speculating what quest it might have been used for, because the answer to all of them is no. That's my two cents, take them how you will.

yes there are 2 chests, but you get teled to the house by the north east entrance to ardougne after thieving one. Also, they are in the blood rune tower northwest of ardougne. As for your question, as I have not killed bloddvelds with much luck, I am lvl 104, and never killed ankou's and have thieved those chests, I would say the chests are fastest. However, barrows would best fast plus all the extra goodies, if you have the levels for it.

My question, is as much as I know i'm not supposed to mention it on these forums, is do you use ss? maybe they finally decided, "No, we don't like it". Did you ever have black marks in the past? There has to be some connection.

I'll go check on the wyverns right now, I'll update with the results... update: darn you kwim... I was just about to post that too... So yea, getting koed with a 46 wearing the helm kinda means it doesn't work...

Per request of the mods, I am reposting here. Warning: Long story, if you only care to see the topic discussed and not the reason for it, skip to the second paragraph. I just want to know if it's not just me. I'm currently going for a fire cape, but can only attemmpt it in the wee hours of the morning as that is the only time I have that long uninterupted. I have now attempted it 7 times, and gotten to the jad twice. once I was stupid and got meleed by the 360's, once the client crashed, and three times I lagged out. Now the funny thing is, all three of the lag outs happened on world 99 around 1:30 am cst, or 2:30 am est where the server is located, the two times I got to the jad I was on my former homeworld, 41, and they were back to back. On the lag outs, only world 99 goes down, and it's down for all of about 2 minutes, just like if you shutdown and restart your computer. Now the question I have to ask does world 99 lag out everyone around 1:30 cst or is it just me.

ooh, great, this time it was sat night.... never will i attempt it on 99 again... i believe the server reboots at 2:30 am est every night. Why it does that, I don't know, but it does...
