Do you smoke?
I would never spend my hard earned money on such a habit. I can't say I enjoy breathing in second hand smoke, but if I don't like if someone is smoking close to me, then I will ask if they would mind stopping. If they do mind, then I'll move away. Hell, it's your own choice what you do with your life, but it's something I believe has next to no point, hence will never take up. If you want to do it though, then just don't do it around me please.

Are we enslaved by fashion?
I believe some people live for clothes and fashion and such, but I think personally just wear what you feel comfortable in. Who cares what people think if YOU think you look nice.

A Heavier Topic
Chicken. How can anyone dispute the king of meats?! Seriously though, give me some chicken and I'll be happy all day!

Are female players more likely to be skillers?
First off it depends what you mean by the term skillers, because combat is a skill also. But if you mean non-combat, then I guess I would fit in with your "hypothesis". I am female and have ceased to train combat for a year and a half, with my non-combat skills quite high.

Most Beautiful Words (in all languages)
I love the word inevitable only because it makes me read the word twice to pronounce it right. INevit...no, inevIT...no, inEVitable! Ah ha!

Who is better at parking? Men or Women?
It is true that men have better spatial awareness, hence making them better at tasks such as moving a car into a tight spot. I know as a female myself my parking skills were not excellent, but after a couple of gos I'd be fine. But yeah that game was actually impossible for female to park it, I know it's the intent, but it just irritates me that the majority of men assume all female drivers are awful, when it is not the truth.

Race=Humanity?
i guess you havent seen that episode of cheppeles show. :roll: and plus thats the dumbest argument ever. the first time s black person saw a whitie what did he say? ''oh theres a lightly colored peach person.'' what did the white guy say? ''hey theres a person whos a dark shade of brown.'' i dont think so. and plus it doesnt matter even if you say no ones really black or white people are still going to be racist. they think there better no matter what. I honestly don't care about what you saw on the Chappelle show. I'm saying that if you bothered to read this whole thread you would realise that the terms "black" and "white" are stupid because no one is truely black OR white. Yes people are racist, and this thread is trying to get to the bottom of WHY people are racist. It's not a dumb arguement, it's a simple observation. If you can't get your head around that, God help you.

The facination with fame
Because their hot! :3> :D So we should base all our judgements on looks? I'm sorry, but intelligence prevails and should be rewarded greater than having a pretty face.

New Rap = Funny, not Good
No offence to you, but the songs you posted consist of mindless drivel full of the same-old rhymes. Bojangles? Have you listened to the words in that song? "If you don't know her name, it's cool call her this, jigga jigga call that girl Bojangles". Uhm... what? Now I listen to a lot of hip hop music, but I have to say, I've ceased to buy any new release cds for quite a while because of this. And for the record, there's more to life than women and money. And although I haven't really heard much rock and metal music, I'm pretty sure they don't all sing (if any do) about cutting themselves.

The facination with fame
Ugh yeah that gets to me. I remember my boyfriend watching one of these shows, I asked who one person was, it turned out she was a step-daughter of some singer who had divorced her mother a good few years ago. Sorry, but WHAT THE...?

Race=Humanity?
Wesley Snipes is a dark shade of brown, his skin is in no way black no matter how dark it is, which is what a number or previous posters have been trying to say if you had bothered to read.

The facination with fame
I agree with you Buck, there's nothing I can stand more than those magazines that are like "Oh look, Beyonce has a sweat patch!". For God's sake. People are becoming "famous" over nothing these days, and these people then calling themselves celebrities. Don't even get me started on Rebecca Loos, or Big Brother for that matter. All of these reality celebrity shows, does anyone even know who those celebrity's are? One thing that saddens me is the desire for people to become famous. Not to be an actor, singer, doctor or any job for that matter, but to become famous. It shows in things like X Factor and similar programs. When Simon Cowel tells the contestant, you're a back-up singer they cry. Why? Because although a back-up singer is a decent job, you can sing behind real artists and earn decent money, the contestant wants to be FAMOUS before doing a job they just enjoy.

Weird peircings?!
I'm sorry but that just makes me feel sick. I have my ears pierced three times, that's it. I was going to have my belly button done, but my dad convinced me otherwise. Wise decision.

More people on one fishing spot?
I was just wondering whether more people on one fishing spot means you get fish slower. I assumed that the number of people had no effect on how quickly you got the fish, but I have just been fishing at pictoris (or whatever that place is called) and people are insulting me left, right and centre for fishing at the same spot as them? Cheers

Long dreams
My housemate told me that dreams never last longer than a few minutes, so wow if you managed to fit that all in! I don't know if my housemate is telling the truth though, I can't be bothered to look it up. My dreams are always so darn boring. Actually no! I had a dream the other day where I got stabbed... Yeah that was after watching Saw III but normally I dream about such regular everyday things. I have dreams about waiting in a traffic jam, waiting for a bus, I've even had a dream about sleeping. Yes I had a dream where all I could see was me ASLEEP. Do I not have an imagination or something?

Breakdancing
I have a good friend who breakdances, all I can say is OH MY GOD. He is too flexible for a guy. When he dances everyone is just :shock: . You must need so much physical strength especially during flares and such. Good luck with it though!

Race=Humanity?
I myself am also a wide variety of races, my father half chinese, half st lucian (caribbean), and my mother half chinese and half white. So yeah a big old mix up there. But I think it is true what that person said about everyone being a little racist, as in prejudice. I know for one, that even with my friends jokes made could be seen as racist, and I know some of my friends hold a mild grudge against certain races. It wouldn't stop them being friends with someone of that race, but it's still prejudice. Upbringing is also obviously a major factor. I know myself that being a whole mix of races and living somewhere so culturally diverse, that lowers a lot of my prejudices. But now attending university, you meet people from all over the place, one of my good friends comes from some tiny village. She said she felt scared when she first came to the university because she'd never seen an indian person before, or so many black people. Still, she embraced it and has learnt a great deal whilst being here. Gah jesus I'm going off topic. The thing is, humans are more intelligent than cats or dogs, and obviously see animals as inferior, therefore we have no need to be prejudice about them. With other humans we like to form ideas based on what we look like, even simple ones - black people like chicken, white people can't dance, chinese people are all masters of kung fu. It's stupid but I guess it must just help people understand those different to them.

respect for ones parents
What scares me is throughout all my teens, although I may not have agreed to everything my parents did, I have always respected them. The same goes for my sister. My brother on the other hand doesn't even know the meaning of respect, and this saddens me. Don't get me wrong, he doesn't shout and swear, but he has no respect for anything anyone does for him. Take for example the other day he asked my dad to watch a dvd with him. My dad agreed and then went upstairs because my sister was calling him. It turns out her computer was broken and she wanted him to help her out. It took him about an hour to sort out then he came back downstairs to watch the dvd. Then my brother turns around and says "don't go back on promises idiot. " and walked off. My dad just left it at that and went out for a bit to get some food, when he came back he started looking for his mains adapter for his laptop and that's when my brother says he's hidden it from him to punish him for not coming downstairs. I don't get it. If you have no respect for the people that bring you into the world, surely you will have no respect for anyone. My brother from the exact same upbringing as myself still manages to act like a complete spoilt brat. The thing is, I know I went through some kind of phase where I didn't like my parents or whatever, but I would never be so rude to their faces like that. I only hope that when I decide to have children, they do not turn out to be disrespectful common idiots. Guess I'll have to teach them well :P lol.

Better Music
Why is everyone assuming by better music he means rap, and then flaming him for it? Makes no sense. If you don't like the music in runescape turn it off and play your own...

Seeking thoughts on skillers
I agree with you 100%. I have 78 combat and a 1540+ total, people are always asking me if I'm a skiller. I'm not. Otherwise why would I bother getting 78 combat? My skills aren't truely amazing, I just train what I enjoy. The equivalent of having a high combat. So my advice to you is just train what you like. Don't focus on what other people would see you to be, just do what you enjoy and don't make the game a chore.

âš£25 per day to drive an SUV in London
Because some people are either lazy or think public transportation is 'weird'. In my opinion, unless you are in a real emergency situation, there is no point in using a car in metropolitan areas of huge cities like London when public transportation caters almost every place so well. You wouldn't believe the outrage in the US if they made a similar restriction. Within minutes people would be screaming 'nazis' and 'you take away our freedoms'. Who needs a SUV anyways? It's a SPORT UTILITY VEHICLE. When was the last time you transported sports utilities in a SUV and bought the car just because your earlier 'utilities' couldn't fit in your old car? I just hate pompous jargon like 'SUV'. Just call it 'gas and emission monster' (GEM). People will still use it because it sounds like jewelry, which is just as pompous. The average american SUV driver is at least 40 pounds overweight and his only sport utility is the remote controller, no offense meant. The public transport in London is alright, but the number of delays and hold ups, and the sheer number of people in rush hour is enough to put anyone off. Being packed into the tube like sardines, it's boiling, and some people just don't know how to wash so the smell sometimes is just sickening. And then having to sit in that train for 30 minutes without it moving because of signal delays or whatever. Just UGH! Also the standard price for a travelcard, all zones, in London before 9:30am is ̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâã11.50, I'm not entirely sure of the pence. Obviously now we have oyster card which indeed saves money, but for me, I consider it more hassle than just buying a ticket before I travel. Don't get me wrong I use public transport on a daily basis, but in terms of rush hour, I would much prefer to drive then go through the underground.

Odd Situation
Does it really matter who started it? It's like what you say to your parents when you're 7 years old, fighting your sibling. Personally I think the whole situation is just stupid.
