I like this! This is kinda what I wanted to say, but I have no knack for putting things into words. This thread is kinda stupid (no offence!) in a way because it's just an excuse for everyone to say "I'm a non-conformist!" when everyone conforms subconsciously, otherwise we would have no society or culture. (Although without sounding harsh, I believe English culture is next to none, and that that does remain I think little of..). But yes, back on topic, nicely put, even if you did confuse yourself!

I have sime sony erickson I am on contrsct though i get to upgrade in april. Isn't it sad how I feel lost wihtout it. EDIT: Oh jeez it seems I posted here too, uhh apologies for spelling. I have a Sony Ericsson K850i, and apart from the fact I dropped my laptop on it, smashing the screen, yeah it's an alright phone. I get to upgrade in April (which is what I was trying to say before) I will just get a newer Ericsson phone, I love the cameras on them!

I understand where you've been coming from since you've posted, but for me, these people who I deem "hot" or whatever, are only based on looks, I'm never going to meet them in my life, they're most likely complete idiots, and quite frankly the only reason why I do like them is physical features, because I have nothing else to base my judgement of them on. In a partner I look for different things, obviously physical attractiveness comes into it, but no way would I settle for someone completely brain dead because they look good. Fancying celebrities and looking for a partner are completely different things, at least in my books they are! So just let them act like idiots, I bet the best part of them are. And for the record Carol Vordermann (British presenter) I think is amazing looking for her age, and yes is very intelligent. Don't be fooled, brains and brawn can happen together!

I used to have a teacher in year 5 who had issues with anger management. When she got angry, she pursed her lips together so tightly, she'd go bright red and if you looked carefully you could see her head slightly vibrating...! One boy named Barnaby sat on his banana from his lunchbox by accident, he made such a fuss about it she went nuts, got a glass of water and threw it on him apparently "trying to get the banana off". Lol everyone called him Bananaby from that day on wards. This teacher loved to just send people to corners of the room. At one point she ran out of corners so she put people in the changing rooms lol. You'd get sent to the corner for such random reasons, I got sent once for pointing to a dictionary with my foot, she exclaimed I was walking on it disrespecting school property. Another girl threw an eraser to her friend only sitting 2 desks down, and she was condemned to the corner as well. The worst one was, we had a "Victorian day" whereby we had to dress up like we were from the Victorian period. We had to change our clothes during lunchtime, and were introduced to the idea that when a teacher walks into the room, you must stand up. One girl had trouble dressing herself, and when my teacher entered the room, she stood up and her skirt promptly fell down. Our teacher went crazy sent her to the corner and anyone laughing was given extra homework. Lol, she had so many mental breakdowns it wasn't even funny. Half the time the teacher would leave halfway through the day, and at times she'd give us work and then she'd cry for the rest of the lesson. She left within 5 months. I feel sorry for her really.

I've never paid too much attention to people's locations, I don't pay particular notice to anyone's names either, so I might have met someone already without knowing? Possibly? Lol. I met a woman on runescape back when I played and she used to live in the exact same area as me, knew all the local schools and all that business. Talk about a similar location can only last a short while though, and we departed company.

No, somebody else stole My name... :cry: Funny story: My Middle school band director always gave nicknames to his students. Mine was simply my initials: J.T. Well, after I graduated, and my sister became his student, he followed the same format for her nickname. The only problem is, her name is Emily. Now everybody calls her E.T. and it's all my fault :P My initials are E.T. and once people realise, that's it. I don't apparently have a name anymore, just referred to by initials. Lol, I used to cry to my mum when I was in infant school to tell her to change my surname!

you wil be suprised how many got a pretty agressive natura if you get some of your female friends to play a war/fighting game they wil get totaly hookd they most of the time just are to afraid of getting bulied for playing ''guy games'' Hmm. I'm not sure I agree with you there. My favourite games consist mainly of first person shooters, and trust me I have no issues with being afraid of being bullied for it, and I certainly don't see them as guy games. A game's a game at the end of the day, I don't see why guys are so intimidated when a girl can play computer games. It doesn't require some special secret knowledge only the male of the species understands.

I definately don't have photographic memory, but I believe I come close to it. I have a knack of remembering things word for word, as I can picture the page I just read, in my head, and then read off it. (Sorry if that was difficult to understand!). Basically I can see the pages of the book in my head, and I can read off the image that has been generated. Comes in handy with exams lol. I also have a good hand-eye co-ordination, hence racquet sports are my forte.

Old thread? Anyways, Personally? Never. Tattoos are one of those things you can pull off when you're younger, but when you hit 50-60 and you've got some fading tattoo that you can't make out anymore on wrinkly skin.... Ugh I couldn't think of anything worse.

Everyone conforms in one way or another. Probably not in the most obvious of ways but you still will do in some form. For example, I don't think many people would appreciate if I did not shave my armpits now, perhaps if I lived in Germany I would not think anything of it, but in my society? You shave them as this is what is deemed aesthetically pleasing. Lol, it's just an example, but you catch my drift hopefully...
