  1. I have always been brought up around game consoles, the NES, Super NES, my beloved game gear, Playstation 1/2. I've always enjoyed playing video games. It never really appeared anything unusual until I went to secondary school and none of the girls would play with me, or if they did they would be so damn appauling I couldn't bear to play with them. It's a great skill to have, especially when you dent male's prides!! Beating them at pro evo is the one that get's them the worst, and I've yet to lose a game of Time Crisis. Lol, it's so fun. But I still don't particularly think anything of it. My friends don't think anything of it either, at least they have someone to challenge them!
  2. There is such a clear line in rap music in accordance to today's music, and music from a good 10 years ago, I don't believe it takes much to realise the difference.
  3. This isn't really personal, loads of people cook it but it's one of my favourite meals - jollof rice. But there's loads of variations, so I'll tell you mine. -Basically get oil in a big pan, add a couple of tablespoons of tomato puree -After 5 minutes add a can of chopped tomatoes-leave to simmer -Add a can or corned beef, and mash it up inside the tomato sauce so that there are few lumps - leave to simmer -Add 2 teaspoons of hot chilli powder and mix in -Add a beef and prawn stock cube and mix in thoroughly -Leave to simmer for 10 minutes -Add 2 cups of dry basmati rice, mix well and leave for 45 minutes Voila! Scrumdiddlyumptious.

Grime is classified as garage music as far as I knew. Theres grime, 2 step and old school. Yeah pretty sure it's majority UK artists, the only one that the US has taken interest in is Sway (although not grime), who apparently has hooked up with Chamillionaire and is looking to try and crack America. (I met him in V.I.P. once! haha.) You can get English rap as well, Iceberg Slimm comes to mind, as well as Sway. I wouldn't class that as garage, definitely fits into hip-hop and rap. I just wanted to know what you meant by the difference between mcing and rapping, grime is a whole other genre! (Oh yeah, and Kano track - although not the greatest fan of his, anything with Vybz Kartel on, I adore! hehe!)
  11. Mmm hope this is ok, took all of five minutes? Lol.

Kano has a new track with Vybz Kartel, just so you know... but yeah Grime irritates me these days, it's the same old stuff, and getting beaten up by overexcited boys in clubs is no fun either. I'd like to know how people are differentiating between rap and mcing, as far as I understand, they are basically the same, except in circumstances I mentioned before.

Grime's dying these days, nobody seems to be doing anything new, everyone still gets hyped on "Pow", "Heartless" and "Wot do you call it?". Not to mention Kray Twinz and SLK. I swear I have a song by N-Dubz called "Better Not Waste My Time" Oh lord. My poor ears. What is wrong with his voice?! I can do the best impression of it, lol.
  14. I think that f2p and p2p should be separate games, hence the autoers numbers would rapidly decrease. But yeah, everyone tell me how much interaction there is between f2p and p2p now... I just think if autoers are your main cause for concern this appears to be the only way to cut the majority out.
  15. I don't play any any more, I used to like runescape, hence why I joined these boards.
  16. Not forgetting omitting of the "u" in America for certain words: -UK - US -Colour - Color -Favourite - Favorite
  17. I hate watching any team sport on TV. I can't seem to see the addictiveness of it. I would much rather be there playing than watching, how do people get so damn involved? I enjoy watching track and field sports on TV and also gymnastics, but they are individual sports, where you can really see up close how well they perform and their technique. I love analysing performances, not in terms of judging how good they are compared to someone else, but how they achieve the end result. Figuring out the biomechanics behind a long jump, what they would need to achieve a maximum jump, what effect their height has on the jump, their mass, their running speed etc... Oh god I love it.
  18. Well yes of course, but relaxiation techniques ultimately aim in relaxing your muscles, and one technique for people works whereas on someone else it might not. Of course for some people, nothing has any effect. Rather obvious really.
  19. As far as my studies have taken me, stretching includes no indication of muscle fatigue. Muscle fatigue occurs due to fitness levels and no amount of stretching directly before exercise will allow you to increase your aerobic capacity significantly. Also the heart does not need stretching as such, as was mentioned before, heart rate needs to be increased so that there is an increase of blood flow to the muscles during exercise, which will allow the muscles to work at their full capacity as the blood supplies the fuel for them to work.
  20. - Tyson Beckford (yeah yeah, he's only done cameos and stuff but still, =P~. I would marry him right here right now!) - Michael Ealy. He has the most beautiful eyes. - Will Smith. Just how can you not love him! Edit: Oh music as well? Forget Michael Ealy, meet husband number 2, MC Harvey from So Solid crew. Lol, yes yes I know he is a loser, he is just so damn handsome.
  21. ctp080188 replied to InfamousDuck's topic in Off-Topic
Yeah I'm pretty sure MC stands for master of ceremonies, or microphone controller. I don't think it always means rapper though, for example, in a club when you see a dj, and theres some guy on the microphone just talking, not rapping, he is still known as the MC as he has the microphone. But yeah, ultimate classic albums for me have to be, The Chronic 2001, Doggystyle, Illmatic, The Great Adventures of Slick Rick, Double Up, Genesis. I have to agree with 1 man army, or should I say Nas. The music in the past couple of years I would not classify as hip hop. People are too into making party tunes and club bangers, the actual content is non-existent.
  22. Hmm I also just thought of something else. If you want to make increasing your heart rate a bit more fun, you could play tag. I'm assuming you have a number of tennis courts next to each other. Right, well how you can do this in an organised manner is split your group in half. Get one half to stand on the outer tramline along the length of the court, and the other half to stand on the line that divides the service boxes (my mind's gone blank on what this line is called!). Then on the count of go (perhaps by yourself or your coach), the people on the tramline must try and catch the person on the middle line before you run out of courts to run on. You must only run straight. You then switch round. Also you can encorporate different situations, such as both face the opposite direction before having to run, or sitting down before running, or lying down. Again, I'm so terrible at putting things into words, if it makes no sense I apologise! But I hope this helps!
  23. Hmm there is a lot of studies debating whether stretching aids your performance. But I'll come to that in a second. Basically the point of a warm up is to prepare yourself for the task ahead, both mentally and physically. The aim is to increase the deep muscle temperature, not just the skin temperature, as this will increase elasticity of the tissues. A general warm up should include increasing your heart rate, which will increase your blood flow, in turn will stimulate nerve conduction. Therefore running laps would probably be sufficient. However I would suggest running up and down the courts but each tie do a different action. So for instance: -First length - jog -Second - skip -Third - side-step -Fourth - side-step with the opposite leg leading -Fifth - run backwards -Sixth- two footed jumping -Seventh - hopping on right -Eighth - hopping on left. And so on. This adds variety and also specific movements such as side-stepping prepares you well, as you are repeating movements that you use during the sport. In terms of stretching, you may want to do some static and dynamic stretching. Static stretches involve you just standing still and holding a stretch for a specific muscle or muscle group. For example quadriceps stretch involves you standing on one leg, holding the other foot in your hand whilst putting your knee close to your other and pointing it down. (Sorry if that was unclear). For "maximal" benefit these should be held for 30 seconds. It has been proven (Brady & Irion, 1994) that a 30 second stretch is more benficial than a 15 second stretch. Dynamic stretching is a pattern of movement that replicates muscle activity, so movements such as rotating your arms forwards and backwards, then swinging your arms in front so that they cross, would also be beneficial. When stretching it is important that you do not try to stretch further then is normally possible for you, as this can cause pain and damage to muscle tissue. Oh yes and just to put a debate forwards, it has been said that stretching can decrease performance. This is because stretching helps increase flexibility, but excessive flexibility may lead to an increased risk of injury. There has been no link found that stretching actually improves performance, and that it still does not prevent soreness or injuries. Sorry for the long post, lol, I study this and yeah I can go on a bit. Sorry if some is irrelevant!

You've got all eternity to get over it. I don't think you'd stilll be mourning them after a few thousand years. And after reading more posts on here, I must say that I've got another condition. If I end whenever the world ends (or universe as we will probably colonize space eventually), then I also end. I don't want to live post-apocalyptically. Unless I like get transported to some alien planet. That might be kinda cool. I wouldn't want to get over outliving every generation that you have helped create.
  25. One could argue that would make the situation worse. Finally, a construction contribution for a rapper - But since when did rappers abolish Cholera? :-k Calling Jay-Z a rapper is like calling me a seven-figure-making attorney just because I like to argue with people sometimes. That meaning he could not rap his way out of a paper bag. He and Puff Daddy are paradox's to this Universe - No skill, no talent, sucking in general, yet still making bank somehow. I just don't understand! Tigra's so right... Gah, I'm so tired of rap-bashing. Go and [bleep] about how rubbish rap is in music and movies. It's the only thing anyone does in there. But yeah on-topic, I thought cholera was a commonplace illness. I vaguely remember learning about it in Geography. Shows how much I listened huh.
