  1. Try to get on when it's not a peak time, whether that be later or earlier in the day. It can be frustrating some times. :wall:
  2. Yes. You can use this to your advantage and farm without having to be online. Take these easy steps(if you have the required levels): 1. Buy a bunch of sacks from your farming store 2. Pick onions from Farmer Fred's farm in Lumbridge and put them in sacks(10 onions per sack) 3. Plant an allotment of cabbages at each of the 4 allotment locations. No watering is neccessary. Pay the farmer with your onion sacks after each planting. 4. Come back in approx. 35 minutes or whenever you can get on next. Harvest your Cabbages. 5. Put your cabbages in sacks.(10 Cabbages per sack) 6. Repeat steps 2-5 until you have 8 sacks of Cabbages. 7. Go to each location and plant 1 allotment of Tomatoes and pay the farmer with 2 sacks of cabbages after each planting. 8. Come back again 35 minutes later or when you can get on next. 9. Harvest your Tomatoes. 10. Repeat steps 2-9
  3. Go to World 2. There's also a bunch of people there. It's practically impossible to do it alone, maybe a small group of 5 could accomplish it. But World 2 is your best bet.
  4. I would suggest trying to level slayer(by doing your assignment) and your attack at the same time, if that works out for you.
  5. Thank you all. From my fight, I have to say that melee combat is the best way to go. Full rune with whip, rune boots, barrows gloves, and glory makes a great combo. It's too short a fight to bring pots in with you, just sip at bank. You can also light the brazier, then put your tinderbox back for an extra shark or "tuna-corn potato." Thanks for your help again, everyone. Others can still post their suggestions for any other people who need recommendations.
  6. Farming because it's your lowest skill. Here's an easy way to do it if you don't want to sit and wait for your crops: -Buy 4 sacks and fill them up with onions(found in Lumbridge) -Go plant 4 allotments of cabbages(one at each location) and pay the farmer to watch them for you -Check back on them later or when you log on next -Harvest the cabbages -Repeat until you have 80 cabbages -Fill 8 sacks with cabbages -Go plant an allotment of tomatoes at each location and pay the farmer in cabbage-sacks to watch them for you. -Log back on or check on them later -Harvest tomatoes and repeat process -You can also use the tomatoes to pay a farmer to watch your yanillian hops, oak trees, or cadava berry bushes After that, raise your construction, herblore and runecraft. If you can do Astral runes, those are incredibly fast runecrafting xp. Use the lunar spell to teleport back to the bank.
  7. What does your quest journal say?
  8. Thanks, does anyone else have any other strategies?
  9. I need any and all recommendations to making this battle as easy as possible. Stats: 91 Combat 73 Attack 72 Strength 72 Defence 75 Hitpoints 71 Ranged 76 Magic
  10. This was a great article. The guest author did a great job. It would be very interesting to see Jagex advertise Runescape. They did a little of it when they teamed up with Miniclip(which is how I found out about the game), but they haven't done much else.
  11. Sunday, February 25, 2007 I've been meaning to update this for awhile. So Ortiz's main is back, and it was good to see that longlost character. Went to CW with him, but a lvl 123 got their own standard, and you know how that goes. While a lot of you have been busily working on your construction(I have a little too), I've been working on some REAL construction in Real LifeÃÆââââ¬Ã¾Ãââ. And I have to say it's much more fun. Our RS characters don't have the luxury of working with Power Tools such as drills and circular saws, but then again they don't have the agony of messing up a measurement and havign to start over, slivers, lack of nuts and bolts, and other things that come up in Real LifeÃÆââââ¬Ã¾Ãââ. I do enjoy construction in both worlds though and will continue to work on both. I'm trying to decide whether I should work on getting my woodcutting to 99(and a lot of other skills along the way) or I should do fishing and cooking. And then there's the possibility of working all my skills to XX level. I really can't decide. Until next time, I wish you all Happy Scaping. FF13
  12. Alright, I'm stuck on the final fight in Recipe for Disaster. I know what to do, but I'm not sure what weapons and armor I should take in. I'm currently on Karamel, and I've gone in twice with full loads of monkfish and teleported out not even getting her down to half of her health. Here's my stats: I'm thinking about using iron knives against her, since those require a low ranged lvl. If you have any helpful tips on Karamel or any of the other monsters I have yet to battle, it would be appreciated if you post them. Thanks, Foodfight13
  13. Sunday, January 21st, 2007 Well, once again, it's been another month since I updated. Things are coming along smoothly. I only have 4 more quests to do! These are: the final fight in Recipe for Disaster, Mourning's End Part II, Forgettable Tale of a Drunken Dwarf, and Tai Bwo Wannai Trio(and any Jagex puts out there after I post this). I've been stalling that final fight, maybe I'll do it this week. I need to go fishing for monkfish though. I'm right around 1514 for total level. That's good. I'm also ony 57k xp away from hitting 15 million total xp. I'm not in a rush to get there, but it will be a good goal. Currently working on Runecrafting. Believe it or not, the best non-abyss way to runecraft is Astrals. They're so quick. And if you don't want em, you can sell em to that one lady in the Chicken House. Happy Scaping, FF13
  14. Sunday, December 10, 2006 Well I made it. 1500 total level. I got it with 58 herblore after completing the "My Arm's Big Adventure" quest. The battle at the end wasn't too bad. I'm also not that far from leveling in Woodcutting and Farming. Happy Scaping -FF13-
  15. Pretty good article. Though I don't know why YME liked falconry so much, when I tried it it was very tough to get a kebbit because there were a lot of people there. The xp isn't that much better either.
  16. There are no words to describe the amount of laughing I did after I read this.
  17. I think they were talking about attacking with the noose wand and butterfly net themselves. They don't sound like they would be a very good weapon, but they are wieldable, so you can use them. Someone could look into how much xp you get in what skills, I think he was saying it's different than other weapons.
  18. That is possible, but the idea with this process is you already have the logs on you.i've been cutting my oak logs near the plank maker for a long time. I personally find it much more convenient. I also wear an earth tiara and bring a load of normal rune ess since its convenient and the earth altar is right near the plank cutter.Well if you wish to make your own thread explaining your method, that's fine with me.
  19. Made that pic today for my sig. :P I really like lizard hunting, it's quick and great xp. 47 hunting now, so I can do the desert ones. Happy Scaping, FF13
  20. Couple of Tips here(these may have been posted before, I didn't read :anxious: ): -When lizard/salamander hunting, if you are afraid of competing for a trap, bring an extra rope and fishing net. If your trap falls apart, build a new trap, then pick up your old trap. -Lizards and salamanders will still go for your trap if you don't have bait. -When deadfalling kebbits, the kebbits are not horribly picky about what type of bait you use. You can use a piece of meat for barb-tailed and [puncture]ly kebbits, and they will still go for the trap. Also, try to cut down trees for logs while you wait -The desert area seems to be the least used of all the hunting areas. If buying waterskins is no cost to you, the desert hunting area can be good.
  21. Tuesday, November 21st, 2006 The new Hunting skill is AMAZING. Really, it is. I'm planning on spending quite some time on it tommorow. I'm level 13 right now. Happy Scaping(and Turkey Day). -FF13
  22. That is possible, but the idea with this process is you already have the logs on you.
  23. Ok I had to edit some things because you can only carry 40kg per trip. This doesn't make it as efficient, because you can only get 21 planks per trip.
