  1. Does anyone know of a way to cook something with a 100% chance of burning it? I'm just curious. I know using potatoes on a fire will burn them always, but I was thinking something else, like a lobster or shark.
  2. I'm hoping to raise both of those totals.
  3. Cooks guild was actually useful at one point when I played on f2p. Champions guild is a good place to kill chickens for feathers, and it's were some free players get rune, some addy, or dragonhide armor. I can't think of how many more minutes I would have wasted walking from fally to the hero's guild without my precioius games necklace teleport. The only thing I find "useless" is the cats training pits. Never used it.
  4. Ahhhh!!! I want your burnt lobbs!!! No you are not weird, I find this kinda fun. I have almost 3300 burnt lobbs(which I picked off the ground in catherby, EVERY SINGLE ONE). I have a friend who collects spinach rolls, and I help him get some. I've also gotten burnt lobbs from friends. I've heard of people having over 20k tinderboxes.
  5. If you can cook a mushroom and onion potato, I suggest you do it. These are heal 20hp, that's as much as a shark. And you don't need the high fishing and cooking lvl to do it! \
  6. I have decided to do option B and have gone through with it. This topic can be deleted.
  7. Awesome! Awesome! =D> =D> =D> \ \ \
  8. The new quest Lunar Diplomacy gives you 5000 magic and runecrafting experience along with 2 questpoints.
  9. Thanks for your input. Anyone else?
  10. Are you a f2p or p2p player? You seem f2p, but you weren't clear on that. I would say mining or woodcutting is definately the way to go. Or fishing lobbs would also be a good option, but it seems you can't cook them. Raw lobbs have a great members market, but not as good a free market I don't think. So if you want to fish lobbs, check the rs forums for people buying raw lobbs. You're sure to find someone.
  11. I would work on Runecrafting until you can craft nats. That would get you mining and runecrafting xp. Then cut yews and make bowstrings. Then find someone(maybe me? )who would be willing to trade you already fletched yew longs for your yew logs and bowstrings. Then highalch the bowstrings using nats you made for 768gp each. If you don't want to work on runecrafting, you can buy nats at 300 each, but then you will only gain 468gp per highalched yew longbow. This is definately the easiest way to make money if you have the appropriate skills. Once you can fletch yew longs yourself, this method works even better. When you can cut magics, you can get someone to make magic longs for you and high alch them for a whopping 1.5k(rounded) each. That's about twice as much as the money gained from highalching a yew long bow. This is how I have easily made millions and trained magic and woodcutting. Happy scaping! -Foodfight13-
  12. Hi. As many of you may know, the new quest Lunar Diplomacy requires lvl 61 crafting. Yesterday I spent a good portion of the afternoon spinning flax to get 61 crafting. I then started the quest and completed it this morning. I'm now sitting at the Lunar bank with 2207 bowstrings in my bank. I'm thinking about what to do with them: A) I sell the bowstrings at 180 each and make 397260gp. B) I cut 2207 yew logs, make yew longbows out of the logs and strings, mine 2207 ess, craft the ess into nats, and high alch the bows and make a total of 1694976gp(almost 1.7 mill) C)Buy 2000 yew logs, cut 207 yews, make yew longbows out of the logs and strings, mine 2207 ess, craft the ess into nats, and high alch the bows and make a total of 1094976gp(almost 1.1 mill) By doing option C, I would gain 2 fletching lvls 1 runecrafting lvl, and 2 magic lvls. By doing option B I would also gain 2 woodcutting lvls. Now option B is clearly the most profitable, but I really don't want to take the time to cut 2k plus yews. And the fletching/runecrafting will also take quite a while. I have a lot of this week for playing time, but then next week I'll only be able to get on in the evenings, and the week after that it I won't be able to get on RS at all. I'm not sure if I could finish in time. I really don't know what to do! :wall: All advice is welcomed. Thanks! -Foodfight13-
  13. Yes, that is definately the best part of the article. Great article over all.
  14. So I was picking the pocket of an unsuspecting knight when a watchman appeared. He was caught between the stairs and me. There was also a guard inbetween me and the watchman. 5 minutes later the knight moved and I followed him around the stairs. The guard moved too. I went to the other side of the knight so there were 2 npcs between me and the watchman. Another 5 mins later the guard teleported(I've had that happen before, they seem to do that when they don't move around enough) so the watchman moved 1 square closer, but still 1 square too far away. The knight was stuck inbetween me and the watchman and neither of us were moving. So I was free to pick the knight's pocket while the watchman watched in anger. Eventually the night teleported too, but not before I had spent 15 min pickpocketing the knight while the watchman was that close but unable to attack me. It was pretty funny.
  15. Yeah, I've had that happen to me.
  16. Technically there are only 2 quests(so far) that require you to complete it with another player. But you can always do a quest with another player(but you wont' interact at all questwise; you can still finish the quest without the other player being there), so you can help each other out when you get stuck. Having a friend along side you makes the quest more fun. :D
  17. ^Correct, you can also do this with npcs.
  18. But the problem is, he can't use a whip because he's only 60 att. You need 70 attack to wield a whip. I would suggest using something like a dragon longsword or battle axe. Dragon longsword is a good starter and then you can use the battle axe once you feel comfortable with the longsword. When using the battle axe, bring attack pots. Use your special and then pot up your attack for best effect. You can do this with def pots too, but I used only attack pots and it worked pretty well.
  19. I'm lvl 76, but I will tell you this is not true. But they still are painfully slow.
  20. Statistically, whip is always better. Expense wise: -When buying Torag's hammers, it will be better moneywise for about 6 or 7 repairs when repairing at fully broken(100k each repair). -When buying Verac's flail, it will be better for about 17 repairs when repairing at fully broken. -When getting the weapon from barrows, the whip will be equal to it after the first 28-31 repairs(at fully broken status), depending on how much you would buy the whip for. All of that information was used with today's current prices. Today is Friday, May 26, 2006 for those of you who did not know.
  21. This is a great way for anyone with 54 runecrafting to get xp quickly. But if you're a person who's law running, it can be a frustrating thing. For those of you who have a law tiara/talisman, you can go inside the altar and there will usually be someone there who is willing to craft your laws, so you don't have to wait outside with a lot of lower lvl people who are all begging to be "lawed."
  22. Thank you very much! You rock! :D ... But I can't get my avatar to fit. It's apparently not 80 x 80 pixels. Please resize and take your time, the sig looks awesome.
