Sunday, November 19th, 2006 So yeah it's been awhile. But I'm back now, and ready for action. I'm especially ready for the new Hunting Skill. That should help me move back up in the ranks towards the top 60,000 where I used to be. I finally finished Rag & Bone Man(very annoying), along with the newest quest Enlightened Journey. I made another player-made guide, check it out here. The Nintendo Wii is out and once I get one, it may keep me from playing again, we'll see. This idea was made by Foodfight13. If this idea has been posted before by someone else, it is pure coincidence and not plagurism(stealing someone's ideas and taking credit for them). Requirements: -Compelted Enlightened Journey Quest -Completed Varrock and Castle Wars Routes -1 willow log(1 for every trip) -Ring of Dueling(equipped)(1 for every 8 trips you plan to take) -Money for Planking -21-26 logs to be turned into Planks(depends on your weight) -Boots of Lightness and no excess weight. Spotter and Spottier Capes will also help if they are available to you. Process: 1. Get to Castlewars in any way 2. Withdraw items 3. Run outside to balloon and fly to Varrock 4. Walk about 7 steps to Saw-mill operator, buy planks 5. Teleport to Castlewars with Ring of Dueling 6. Repeat This method should be pretty efficient. All suggestions and comments are welcome, but keep it positive. You can ONLY get 21 planks per trip because of the weight limitations. This can be used by people who don't want to walk back and forth between Varrock Bank nor brave the dangers of the abyss. People who don't want to use rings of dueling may use a willow log and a yew log(with only 20 planks per trip), but this is more expensive. Thanks. Enjoy -Foodfight13-

Thursday, September 21 Dang, it's been a long time. 1 month in fact. In that time, I've done a few quests, earned cash, pondered on what to spend it on, and recieved the very sad news that my best friend is quitting RS. He gave me lots of stuff, which if he ever decided to play again, I would give back and more. It's going to be hard to leave him behind on RS, but at least I'm able to talk to him in aim. R.I.P. Wednesday, September 13 So... my real life has finally caught up with me. I'm sitting on the docks of the fishing guild with my feet in the water, thinking about this. Mondays and Tuesdays are impossible for me to get on. That leaves Sundays, and the afternoons of most weekdays to play. Not much time. Even less time for this. My party wasn't really too much of a success. 5 people showed up, but I did get some good presents. Thanks to those 5 that did. I'm gonna straight to 68 fishing. Wednesday, September 6 Well not too much happened. Tuesday I didn't get on RS at all, but Monday I was all over it figuring out that new quest. I managed to do 95% of it without asking for help, including navigating through Meiyerditch. It was a great quest, but it only thickens the plot, leaves more holes, and brings up more questions in the Myreque storyline. I'm going to be looking forward to the next quest in that series. Those cadava berry bushes really help. Like gp. Every little thing goes a long way. Got some jangerberries for supa-compost. I have 1k buckets(picked up 900+ that someone dropped), so I could get lots of Jangerberries and have the max amount of buckets of supercompost. Then I wouldn't have to make more for a LONG time. I don't think I'll do it yet though. Slayer is basilisks, I might go do them, but I think I'll wanna iron-knive them. Trying to get 70 ranged. And the smithing and mining xp is nice, it likes to jump on me. I'll be like, "What? I was that close to a level?" :-s :D :P House party is Sunday, spread the word and invite your friends! Sunday, September 03 I write this to you from the depths of Karamja Dungeon, hot lava boiling and bubbling behind me. I'm currently ranging lesser demons to get to 68 ranged. I got a hitpoints lvl and hit 90 combat. W00t! :P It's been an eventful last couple of days. I'll try to remember as much as I can. I got a runecrafting lvl crafting like 700 astrals. I posted a guide about that, it's in the Archive of Wisdom. I also got 61 Slayer and 67 Ranged. Those are also my slayer assignment. When maging zombies for a burthroped assignment I got a half key, but didn't bring runes for tele-grab. That was a dissapointment. But I got a half key at Fire Giants. I also got a rune Sq shield and picked up the rune scimmy of a lvl 53 who died. Tried to melee fires with Cakes, lol. I have to say I'm very impressed with all the new graphics Jagex did. *High-fives Jagex*. I'm very excited for the new quest that's coming out this month that takes place in Mortanyia. It sounds very interesting. I did some seed-stealing today, didn't get anything extra special. Also planted some bushes, I have like 41 cadava berry bush seeds. Those are easy farming xp. I've also found them easy to get to using the Fairy Rings. Those have improved my travel by a lot. School is starting up again, so that means my time for this and Runescape itself is limited. Now before you yell at me or go try this yourself, I want to warn you that this is for the runecrafter who really doesn't mind either mining all his ess, or buying pure ess for about 100gp each and then only making little of that money back. This will go fast though. If you don't like the Abyss, but want to Runecraft fast, this option is for you. *Requirements* -Completed Lunar Diplomacy -72 Magic -40 Runecrafting -Earth Staff, Battlestaff, or Mud Battlestaff -1 law for each load of Astrals you plan to craft -Seal of Passage *Recommended* -Boots of Lightness help a lot -Light Armor or Food in your bank that you can eat inbetween trips -POUCHES!!! *Optional* -Energy/Super Energy Restore Potions ---*Procedure*--- 1. Go to Rellaka via either the Spirit Tree from Miscellania(if you have one grown there), Lyre, Fairy Rings, or walk from Camelot/Seers Village. Make sure you already have and are wearing your Seal of Passage. If you already have Lunar Magicks equipped, teleport to the Moonclan Island and skip to step 4. 2. Talk to Lokar Searunner to go to his gang o' Pirates 3. Talk to Captain Bentley to take you to Moonclan Island. 4. Go to bank and take out Earth Staff, Some laws, and some light armor if you want. Boots of Lightness Recommended. Take out any pouches you have and fill with ess. Fill all remaining spots with ess. 5. Run South then East to the Astral Rune altar. *NOTE* You will be running past 111 Agressive Suqahs. If you have a decent combat lvl, (lvl 80+) you should be fine. Just don't run out of energy! Craft all your ess into Astral Runes. 5B. If you don't have Lunar Magicks activated, do so now by praying at the altar. 6. Cast Moonclan Teleport(lvl 72 Magic) to go back to the bank. Store Astrals, take out ess, and repeat step 5. Eat food or drink energy potions if you wish to do so. ------------ Now in the current RS Market, Astral Runes don't sell for very much at all. So if you want some money back you can take your astral runes and go inside the chicken house to Baba Yaga. Put the astral runes you want to sell in the bottom left corner of your backpack. Then trade Baba. Right click Sell 10 Astral Rune. If you click in the right spot, you won't have to move your mouse at all, so you can just alternate clicking right and left mouse buttons to sell astral runes quickly! Unless there isn't a full stock of astral runes already, the max amount that Astral Runes will sell for is 27gp. They will sell for a minimum of 5gp. It's not a lot, but in Runescape, every single gold piece can go a long way. Enjoy! Foodfight13

OK, so I'm trying to raise both my Slayer and Ranged at the same time. Slayer is 60, Ranged is 66. I want a good slayer assignment that has safe spots where I can range from. Right now, I've been going to Chaeldar(sp?) a lot and he keeps on giving me Turoths. Those are rangeable, but I'd rather not do them because I have to buy all my arrows. And there's only one safe spot, and I have to wait for a Turoth to get on the other side. Really annoying. So I get frustrated with burthroping those so I go to Vannaka. He tends to give me Bloodvelds and Harpie Bug Swarms. Apparently both masters assign Lessers, which I really want. I'm just wondering which Slayer master should I keep going to if I want monsters I can range with safe spots. Thanks.

I would probably go back to Braindeath Island and speak to the NPC you got it from. If you didn't get it from an NPC, talk to the guy who blesses your wrench. If that doesn't work, I don't know what to do.

Friday, September 1 So a lot of interesting things happened in the past few days. On wednesday I was cutting oaks for constructon when I got an apple tree seed. 2 loads later I got a banana tree seed. 3 loads later an acorn, and then only 3 logs later another acorn! That tree must've like me. :P On Thursday Ortiz finally got his membership. I made him some rings of forging, and rings of dueling. We dueled some with range in which I won(Crystal shield FTW!). He's only like 3-4 lvls behind me(I have 65 range) but he has only 1 def(ranging pure) :roll: . He gave me a rune crossbow and some bolts but it stunk so I high-alched it. During the day I happened to get both the halves of the crystal key(within like 10 drops of each other) from Rock Slugs and a rune full helm from Jellies without my ring of wealth. Kinda weird. Usually I have to have my ring of wealth and kill like 70+ monsters to get a good drop, but I only killed like 30 of each before I got those drops. Hm. I'm currently in the fishing guild trying to get a fishing lvl, 67. I'll see ya later. Keep watching for a House Party announcement! Tuesday, August 29 I finished that subquest for Awowogei. It really wasn't that hard. The only hard part was cooking the thing, I ended up burning it 3 times and had to go back for more ingredients. But it's done and out of the way. Dragon gloves are better, but don't match as good as rune gloves. Oh well. I went up an attack lvl and a farming lvl today, so that was cool. I added some more stuff into my house for a... HOUSE PARTY!!! My birthday's coming up. So I'm planning on hosting a house party to celebrate it. There is no exact date yet, as I'm gone the whole day of my birthday, and will most likely be doing something the night of my birthday. So it will probably be a few days before for after. But that also depends on other things. Plan on it being September 7 - 13. My altar will be open. I have a Mahogany cloth-covered altar that will give 250% of the regular xp when both burners are lit. You need marentill to light it, so bring your own. I might bring a few, but I won't bring a lot. Yanille bank is 3 minimaps away, so it's relatively close. I've poured over 1.5 million into my house. I also have shield easel, if you want to use that. Date: Not decided. World: 60 F2p or P2p: P2P Location: Yanille, house teleport. Directions: Teleport to the watchtower(lvl 58 Magic and Watchtower quest complete) or walk south then east from castlewars(dueling ring). If all else fails, walk south from ardounge/port khazard. This is a very fun game. I will warn you though, if you want to succeed, you'll need to log on and check this game twice a day at least. You can do it while you're playing Runescape, as it doesn't need your attention every second. It's totally free, but there are certain advantages if you pay 3 bucks a month. It is a very fun game! Sunday, August 27 So.. not too much happened today. I finished fishing my 500 lobbs. Traded em for cooked, and I'll sell those later. I also did a tad of farming, I have a low herblore lvl friend who I'm giving free tarromins and lower to. I feel really rushed to do the Awowogei sub-quest. I'll probably do that tommorow, since I need another quest point for the next time I go to Tears of Guthix minigame. For those of you who do that, it can help a lot with skill xp, and if your quest points are really high, it helps even more. I've gotten quite a few lvls with that. My slayer came to a halt, since I have elves. I'll have to go do those soon. I only have like 55. Should be fairly easy. I pray and kill the two guarding Lleyta(did I spell that right)? There's an altar right upstairs so I don't waste prayer pots. I'll probably do those tommorow or Tuesday. I'm also trying to get 57 farming. It kinda halted too.
