Tales from the Legends Guild: Foodfight13
Saturday, August 26th Well, I haven't been on much these past days due to the business of my life, but I've been trying to keep up with stuff. I started moutain daughter quest. I'm going to finish that one, and then I'm 80% sure I'm going to do Monkey Madness this afternoon. Just to get that quest out of the way. My money is rising, and currently I have nothing to spend it on. I'm thinking about Full Ahrims w/o staff, but we'll see. EDIT: I did it! I completed Monkey Madness! It wasn't as hard as I thought it was going to be, more annoying than hard. Like Legends' Quest. That was easy, just really annoying. I didn't get the D Scimmy, because I have a whip, so I really don't need one. The quest is worth it anyways. : I got a gorilla and zombie monkey greegree in advance for the Awowogei mini-quest for Recipe for Disaster. That's next on my list of quests. Then Mourning's End Part 1 probably. Happy Birthday Fordy aka Slaughter388!!! Happy Scaping to everyone, -Foodfight13-

Tales from the Legends Guild: Foodfight13
Monday, August 21 Well, today was a good drop day. Killing fire giants, I got a half key teeth(unfortuanetly I sold the loop earlier), and 3 rune scimmies. Suprisingly, the scimmies were all within like 15 kills of eachother. I also got a clue scroll and 1k fires from Harpie Bug Swarms earlier. I've had a knack for slayer recently... I kinda want to see it above 60, and eventually 65. Dust Devils... My friend Joyo666 has also had a good drop day. He's gotten 3 lvl 2 clue scrolls today and is currently going for a 4th!(Harpie Bug Swarm is the best clue dropper no question.) Unfortuanetly he hasn't gotten extremely good loot yet. He wants rangers boots pretty badly. In other news, I got 59 slayer and 55 construction. I'm gonna put in two formal gardens soon, once I get decent enough lvl(remember I can boost 6 lvls because of crystal saw and tea) to put enough stuff in. I've also moved into the top 60,000 players in Runescape. W00tness. Happy Scaping everyone, cya next blog day. -Foodfight13-

Tales from the Legends Guild: Foodfight13
Sunday, August 20(and part of Saturday) I write this as I hally bloodvelds behind chairs, wardrobes, and rusty suits of armor. I finished those dreaded infernal mages and got bloodvelds, which I'm glad I can hally from a safe distance. I should be getting a strength lvl soon, I'm about 3k xp away. Earlier I got the graveyard random event for the 2nd time(zombie shirt and boots) followed by a half key drop. It's sad to say half key is my best drop. Unless you count clue scrolls, I got a sara kite from one of those. Well, I won't complain too much, but I have to say I was dissapointed with the Best-Dressed Contest yesterday. It could have been more organized and more fun. And everyone who went and spammed the snot out of the poor judges, you didn't help. So we're all kind of guilty for making the dress-up party not as enjoyable as it should have been. I added a Camelot portal to my house last night, and just this afternoon a fancy teak dresser, teak drawers, and a regular teak dresser for my cook. She complains a lot whenver I tell her to get me more planks... Well I just got that strength lvl(70), I gotta get back to those bloodvelds. Happy scaping, y'all.

Tales from the Legends Guild: Foodfight13
100th post w000t! Friday, August 18th So this morning I went with my new friend Ranged Is to go do slayer together. We meet both slaying lessers and he happened to get 16 bronze dragons for his next assignement; the same thing I had gotten but not yet done. So we headed over to Karamja Dungeon and slayed some drags. Here's a pic. Sorry it's so small. So we had fun doing that. If you can see the top part clear enough, that's me doing the raspberry in front of the bronze dragon while Ranged Is throws rune javs from behind me. His ranged is in the 90s, so he can hit 19s with rune javelins. =D> But now I have Infernal Mages, which I have a dire hatred for. This afternoon I mined some more ess, tried an unsuccessful game of castlewars and headed over to world 50 for a clan event. There were like 5 poeple at the meeting place and about 10 min after everyone was supposed to be there, we found out that everyone else was already at the drop place(it was a drop party for newbies, lotsa bronze/iron armor). THough there were only like 10 people from the clan there and the event leader didn't even show up! :-s :boohoo: Apparently we dropped all our armor too soon, cause they asked for more really quickly. So I ran to al kharid bank and made like 6 trips to varrock general store to buy all the bronze and iron armor it had and dropped it. I ended up dropping 15k in armor. But it was fun, I made a new friend in DDK, and some lvl 3's got some free armor. I gotta do that again sometime. Tonight I mined the rest of the ess I planned on mining and sold it. I used some of the money to get to 53 construction. Here's the DDK clansite again. As always, Happy Scaping!

Tales from the Legends Guild: Foodfight13
Thursday, August 17 So today was another normal day. I finished up my slayer task of Lesser Demons. I met when ranging the demons a guy who is now my new friend. I went up a prayer lvl(finally got back to ectoing those dragon bones!) and a ranged lvl. Pretty close to slayer lvl(16 bronze dragons for next assignment :? ). I also installed some random things in my house like a mahogany bookshelf, combat ring, and a 4-poster bed(crystal saw FTW!). And I also gained a smithing lvl on accident. I was smithing some bronze/iron armor for a newbie drop party I'm helping out at and I went up a smithing lvl. It felt really weird ming copper and tin. It almost felt like the good old days had come back... Does anyone miss the old days? When you were clueless where everything was, killed goblins all day, had to ask people what your combat lvl was, and when you heard the word Tip-It you turned your head? I miss those days. They were fun. Even if I wasn't a member, had like 3 friends, and couldn't survive the attacks of a dark wizard. Heh. Tonight I went to see if there was a world where there were all noobs and I could win fight pits. I managed to find one. I had somehow defeated a lvl 100 in full dharoks twice, and one time it was the winning kill. I won again where there was like 2 other people, the lvl 100 and a girl who wasn't armored that well. Not much, but still pretty cool.

Tales from the Legends Guild: Foodfight13
Tuesday, August 15 Well I did the new quest "The Eyes of Glourphie" or whatever his name was. It wasn't actually too hard. I noticed something that Jagex did with your inv whenever you went to the exchanger or the other thingy. It rearranged the discs... That will help you if you can figure out how they rearranged them. That new saw will come in handy. So I was going to pking with a friend and his friends, but it didn't turn out to well. I spent 50k in runes, wasted 10 min going everywhere, and then this new person who was going to pk with them killed me(right before I went into the wildy, I was thinking about turning around and going to castlewars instead). And I still have ancient magicks on me if I'm correct I have to go all the way back to that pyramid and change it. Dang it. I never liked pking anyways, I always ended up spending money and never earning it. In fact, I hate the wildy period. The only thing good I get from that is lvl 3 clues. My good friend Ortiz can tell you about that. He got addicted. :? I got 88 combat yesterday, and a mage lvl today with the new quest. I don't think I'll be on much tonight, I'll probably be playing other online games. Yes, Runescape is not my entire life. Here's to all y'all who have a player owned house but really call the wildy as their home. Happy pking. And happy scaping to the rest of you who are like me and get shivers every time you go into the wilderness for reasons big, or small.

Magic Secratuers
So apparently these help your crop production go up. But how? Do you just have to wield them when you harvest your crop? Or do you use them on the crops when they are ready to harvest? Thanks.

Lobster fishing...
Nope. That is why I became a member. :P

Farming Ladder
Errr, no? You get exp for checking health even if you paid a farmer to look after it for you. Yeah, you do get xp. I don't know why they would think you didn't.

125 Pointless Facts about Runescape
All arrows in runescape are magnetic. 'How so' you say? They always land facing north. They are being pulled towards the poles of Runescape.
-
sell them or alch them??
If you buy the logs and nats and alched, you would make 168gp per bow. If you didn't buy the nats and just sold the longs, you would make maybe 200gp per bow, depending how much you sold the bows for. If you made the nats, you would make 468gp per bow. How many bows were you planning on making?

How to make cash for Whip at P2P??
I would mine coal or mithril. You could try fishing if you like that better.

AWESOME addition to herblore/farming. Also helps crafting!
Nice idea. Though there already is "Guthix Rest". I think a name change might be a little better, but it is still a great idea. Grow your own flax would be great. Or grain/wheat. I still wonder why they didn't put that in farming in the first place. :?

Farming Ladder
I've had this idea for awhile. You know how you can get a farmer to watch your crops by giving them a certain item? I was thinking maybe by starting with a couple(maybe more) buckets of compost, you could grow crops to give to a farmer to grow more crops to give to another farmer to grow even more crops! Example: You grow some Barley (3 buckets of compost per crop). Using the Barley Malt, you grow some Jute Fibers (6 Barley Malt per crop) Using the Jute Fibers, you grow some Sweetcorn (10 Jute Fibers per crop) Using the Sweetcorn, you grow an Apple Tree. (9 Sweetcorn to grow an apple tree. You don't need to grow more than one because the apples grow back. This works with all fruit trees). Using the Apples, you grow a Banana Tree (4 Baskets of Apples(20 apples)). Using the Bananas, you grow a Curry tree. (5 Baskets of Bananas(25 Bananas)). Using the Curry leaves, you grow some Watermelons(10 Curry Leaves per Watermelon Crop). Using the Watermelons, you grow a Pineapple tree(10 watermelons). Using the Pineapples, you grow a Papaya tree(10 Pineapples). Note: That example takes 68 farming to go all the way to the top. You don't have to do it all to benefit from it. Note: You may need to grow more than 1 crop per "step." You may need to grow 3 crops of barley to get enough malt to get enough jutes to give to a farmer so he/she will watch your sweetcorn. Note: If you can collect certain items from respawns(like cooking apples), you can skip certain steps, but you will recieve less farming xp than by taking all the steps. If they don't respawn, you could possibly buy from another player. This works great if you have all the seeds and the required farming lvls. If you are a skilled farmer, you can do multiple farming ladders at once. I don't know all the combos, or how to even format the "farming ladder." Note that some ladders aren't as long as other, and some are only a few steps. You can use apples to get a farmer to watch your willow tree, but farmers won't accept willow logs as a token to watch your crops. You can't get a farmer to watch your nasturtium so you can give to another farmer to take care of your wildblood hops. I'm hoping the great minds of RuneTips and other scapers will use this! -Foodfight13-

Tales from the Legends Guild: Foodfight13
Hey I'm goblin armor now! XD Sunday, August 6, 2005 So I didn't do a whole lot today. I ectoed maybe 3 loads of 9 dragon bones, and I took all my bittercap mushrooms and made them into mushroom and onion potatoes. Yum. They heal 20hp each for those who don't know. It will take me 624.5k cash to turn enough oak logs into planks to get me to 60 construction. But I have to have almost 2.5k oak logs, and right now I have just over 600. So I have some woodcutting to do once I get back. If I cut them all, I'll still remain at 79 woodcutting. Which would be nice, since I kinda wanna keep it below 80 for as long as possible. But then it will take awhile, and it will feel like I should be at a higher woodcutting lvl. I'm not sure if I'm going to cut all the logs, because I have over 2 mill to buy them. But I don't really wanna spend too much money on getting to 60 construction. I'll think about it. Yeah, I'm gonna be gone all week. Played castlewars again today, and we won again. But it wasn't as dramatic as yesterday. I wonder how many more wins until I can afford full white CW armor to put into my house... Check out my clan's website. Dark Dynast Knights FTW! Happy Scaping, -Foodfight13-

That's cause I'm a 'well-rounded' guy. I'm not terribly high in any of my skills(79 woodcutting isn't terribly high is it?). I like to keep all my skills close together. I don't like to be high in one skill and then really low in another. Notice how he all is a really strong believer in Guthix? Last time he checked he owned every single guthix item, and he loves balance. Keep up the good work, and believe in Chuck Norris. Actually I have sara plate legs. And I do like Guthix's methods of 'balance'. Plus his spell is the cheapest.

Goal For 10K Yews! In f2p!
If you're going to do that straight through, it will be really hard. If you'll take breaks and stuff, and just go for 10k yews over a period of time, it will be easier, but slower. Good luck!

The Life of A Ranger(Blog Of Wild_Goat_14)[8/12 ENTRY]
Eh, my good friend hit a 2 unarmed on the Kalphite Queen, just for fun. Then I tried to do it with my friend and couldn't do squat with a steel long lol. It's fun to just go and attack very high monsters like that. Nice blog, but you could cut some of the stuff out of the pics that you don't need, like the minimap and chat box. Maybe even your inv if you really don't need it in the pic.

Tales from the Legends Guild: Foodfight13
Well, I not sure if I'm a "legend," but for having 254+ Quest Points and 1647+ total lvl at only 100 combat, I'm very proud of my character. Feel free to leave positive, encouraging, and suggestive comments. -Name: Foodfight13 -Combat type: Warrior -Favorite Skills: Magic, Fletching, and Farming -Quests done: I have 252+ Quest Points which include all quests up to the most recent one: As a First Resort -Skill goals: Raise summoning up to match the rest of my skills -Hobbies: High-alching; collecting burnt lobsters, sharks, buckets, buckets of sand, and ecto-tokens; and chilling with Ortiz, my best friend ----- Saturday August 5, 2006 So today I got up a construction lvl and a prayer lvl. I ahve like 300 more dragon bones to ecto. Shouldn't take too long. The main thing today was a great castlewars game. I was in Team Saradomin. I walked in with 1 minute left, and saw that I was the highest player. Other than a lvl 82 person, there was all lvl 50's and under. I thought we were doomed. I was going for the flag but someone else got to it first and died. So I spent a good 7 minutes trying to kill a lvl 92 in full black d-hide. He finally died but the lvl 82 who killed him picked up our standard and went to score. He was low on health, but smart. He dropped the standard as the person chasing him followed. I picked the standard up and scored in the next minute. It was now 4-1, we were down. There were 11 minutes left. I thought it wasn't possible. I quickly got some bandages and went back outside to attempt another goal. I saw a lvl 96 from Sara in Torag's hanging out by our wall. He had our standard! He was accompanied by a lvl 92. So we had our flag, and looked like we could hold it. Was it possible to win or tie though? I managed to score again in 2-3 minutes. But then I noticed the flag immediately went to taken. So someone else had the Zammy Standard, hopefully someone good. I dashed out to the middle to find out it was a lvl 60 with our flag, with the lvl 92 right on his tail! He managed to make up the top of the castle being followed by both the lvl 92 and me, attempting to kill the lvl 92. He got all the way up the highest tower, and died going up the stairs. The lvl 92, who was also low on health, went up and I followed. I managed to hit a 19 on him with my whip killing him! So I was left standing alone with the standard. I snatched it and scored. 6 minutes left. Enough to win? It was 4-3. It looked even more and more possible. I stocked up on bandaids and ran back outside. Zammy decided to put up a little defense. They had nothing before, but now they had barricades all over their 3rd floor, with the lvl 92 and a lvl 99 guarding. The barricades fell easily to my explosive potions, which I had to grab from the Zammy ground floor before taking the standard for the fourth time. Another 2 minutes and I had tied the game. The lvl 96 in Torag's had held onto our standard for a good 6 minutes now. Now Zammy was desperate. More barricades and at least 3 people on me. Good thing I have 56 prayer. :D They followed me all the way to Saradomin's noble castle, but I beat them back! We had turned the game around and were up 5-4 with 2 minutes left. I celebrated as I killed a few lvl 60's waiting for our standard to reappear. It did, but they didn't even get it outside our castle grounds before the game ended. I had to say it was the best game I've ever played. I couldn't have done it without my team though, they helped a lot. Even if I did score all 5 points for our team. I also had 2 kills.
