  1. for folks like me who don't know for sure, could someone please outline what quests are needed to use different shortcuts, etc., like the serum thing or whatever, because these could really help. thanks
  2. onanica actually invented calculus, so he could pass advanced functions and relations class in high school. fig newton was the name sir isaac newton took as a moniker for his cookie brand. my fact: you are about to write a contradictory statement to this
  3. but seriously... i like the idea of the smith item spell, also the tele bank one... but instead... Spell name: Portable Bank Level: 65-80, around there Runes: 5 nature, 10 air, 1 soul What it does: Allows you to open your bank once per cast, from anywhere in the world, so you can drop off drops, and pick up more lobs for slayer...
  4. spell name: p00nz0rz for onanica! mage lvl to use: 1 Runes: A single fire rune What it does: gives me loads of phats and every barrows armour 'nuff said
  5. this isn't karma, just being nice... the task i had when i got 65 slayer was jellies, which are known to drop mithril boots. i was slaying them and got to talking to a lvl 70-something in there too. he had iron boots on and talked about how he really wanted mithril ones, and thats why he was there. when i got 65 slayer, he congratzed me and all that, and i decided to kill one more jelly for good luck. i got a pair of mithril boots, gave them to him, said "Happy Slaying", teleported, and never spoke to him again. again, i don't know if anything thats happened to me has been a result of this, but i always try to be nice to people as often as possible
  6. i've never been a very rich player, i've made some stupid mistakes, poor trades, been bad at merchanting, can't stick to one goal for long, and i repair my two barrows pieces (torags plate and legs) with drop money from slayer. its pretty much all i train, and frankly, it could be alot easier with some financing. i'm trying for 85, and honestly am aiming to get it by this time next year haha... but i'd like the extra cash to keep me going, and to give me a little spending money. someday i hope to get full guthans, and when that day arrives (i'm only about halfway there in terms of cash), i'll be grateful for anyone who helped me along the way. thats my lame story, and i don't expect to be put on the list, but its an excuse to say it anyway. whatever you choose, good luck with the party, and with life. i'm off to slay...
  7. ssamriga, you only need to do the first part of desert treasure. i haven't done it either but i can get in there, just set aside an afternoon, collect all the items and you'll be done in no time.
  8. i guess now is a bad time to ask for those 500 chaos back? *bites finger* hahaha just joking, i'm sad to see you go, even though we didn't talk too often you are one of the more respected players on these forums and in the game (though there are a select few who choose not to acknowledge it)... i hope you do well in film school, you've certainly got a knack for being complete ownage... if that is even a sentence? meh! you came very far in runescape and many will mourn the loss of a fine player. you will be on my friends list forever. -Onanica

i invented the name onanica to use in games (mostly rpgs of some kind), especially when i knew many sweet names could be taken. as such i've never met anyone close to onanica, in any game anywhere.
  10. i'd like to ask the most effective way to raise skills that may not be so easily attained, such as herblore, runecrafting, etc. and i'd also like to learn secrets they may have about using skills to their top potential to make money.

  19. I know the background isn't much, but this is my first pixel sig. please rate it and give me some indication of how much I should sell it for. EDIT: Yea I posted the one w/o "sample"'s on it... better? EDIT2: New version with better shoulder lighting? tell me what you think
  20. see, i used some cash to buy herbs, etc., to get my herblore up to 54 within a few days... that was pretty sweet. something i have noticed, however, when dealing with several monsters (namely basilisks and banshees), was that the amount of herbs you get piles up very quickly. My solution to this is... a herb collecting recepticle. some sort of basket, or bag, or anything, that you can just stick your unids and other herbs into while training. sometimes, i will drop a lob, pick up a unid, id it, find out its something good, and keep it. well, that means the lob isn't used. i will eat it, but not to its full potential, when i'm at 10 hp below full, or some such thing. if a herb bag, or sack, or something, was introduced, you could train and keep your herbs all stored away while your food remains untouched. lets face it, you can stick lots of leaves in a little baggie, but huge lobsters take up more space. they shouldn't be considered as the same size for inventory purposes.
  21. i'm only 15, and even i run into the occasional gamer who feels it necessary to flaunt the conventions of what is acceptable in runescape. its totally lame that ppl have to go to such lengths to be obnoxious and tempt the report button... old rs players probably have more common sense and are all far richer than i am, i guarantee that. peace
