You also need to remember something before you calulate your "loss". Less gp in the game makes your gp more valuable than it was before. It is like being able to buy gas at 99 cents a gallon like it was when I was in middle school instead of over $3 a gallon as it stands now. Your items have fallen in actual PRICE but since gp is more valuable than it was before the loss isn't as bad as you think. Let's say that gp is now 10% more valuable than it was before (AT LEAST 10% :wink: ). That means if an item was originally 10mil and dropped to 8mil your loss was only 1mil not 2mil. Hope that made sense. :? Problem is that at the moment items are falling in actual value faster than gp is increasing in value. It should level off soon and selling a 10mil item (previously) for 8mil might actually net you a 1mil profit in value. Hope that helps you feel better about huge "losses". :wink:

It had the attack option for everyone but of course it wouldn't work (must be in wildy to attack other players). That would have been a HORRIBLE glitch.

Depends on what your plans are. If I had to choose from that list I would choose verac's and a whip, lol. Whip is the best idea but check the stats and prices on t and v stuff and mix and match.

If you get hit wearing ROL and that hit puts you at 1%-10% of your max hp it will tele you. It won't save you if you are at 11% and get hit enough damage to die. It won't save you if teleblocked. I would give it an average of 60% effectiveness. 40% of the time you just get hit too high for it to matter.

Lol, I meant the part about safespotting the mole not the duo tactic. My wife soloed it with her 54? combat level and a rune hally. Took me forever to convince her that it couldn't hurt her, lol. She normally fights men or goblins for nearly 70 attack so far, lol. She was shaking too much to try a third go so I let her return to the goblins :lol: . She hasn't died yet EVER and her goal is to be able to wear all the barrows armor without dying ONCE. Anywho, add the hally/range/mage deal and take off the duo tactic if you want. Sorry for the confusion. :oops: a lil bit over kill RAHK :shock: I usually solo it wearing blk d hides elf bow and dds with 12 energy pots and about 8 lobs or now 6 monkfish. I use the 4 specs on it with melee prayer then switch to bow and range it. If it runs with near red bar, I find it and wait for it to die with 1 or 2 hit from the poison of the dds ( I do this since I once lost the drop reason of it digging away with only a few hp and poison killed it of screen). with a full charge of prayer I can kill it 4 times and I usually end up eating food not to heal, but to make room for the hides and claws. Then simply tele to lumby charge prayer, tele to fally trade the hides and claws and repeat till magical lvl 40's apear :cry: P.S. : Only reason I dont like being down there with other players is that they hit 0's to often and make it dig. I end up using all my energy pots on 1 or 2 kills. Hey, long time no see! Everytime that I have tried maging I splashed with charged zammy flames, lol. Everytime that I have tried ranging it I never get the drop (level 80s out damage me :oops: ). Do you safespot to range it or just pray melee? I once lost the drop because some crafty lvl 40 stood over it and I couldn't see the red dot on the minimap. :evil: And overkill means faster kills. :P Without the cannon and using super pots you can still make a profit but will have to foot it a lot more.

I was thinking "DK stories are as common now as barrows were (and still are to some extent, lol)" but after reading this I would have to say that the fact that it is a DK story is less important than the great storytelling. Congrats and keep the stories coming! :D

I wasn't implying that was the only way but it is the best way if you can afford it, of course. I do think you should add the hally/mage/range solo, though, since you might be so poor that p pots are out of reach. The best drop that I have gotten was rune 2h and using p pots would cost more per run than the profit (on average of course). I cashed in 10 nests once and recieved 3 empties and 7 tater/cabbage seed loads, lol.

First run was dmed which doubled my cash at the time, lol. Best cash-wise and coolest was spear (3 or 4 total so far) and brassard.

Why don't you wear monk robes? Or did you just forget to mention them? Use str and att prayers during the dds specs then turn them off. You can also solo him without prayer or food if you get him trapped and hally/range/mage him until he digs. When you find him again you can then eat or pray or just use a distance attack and keep away from his claws. I would suggest that you have 2 people go for the fastest kills. One in full guthans who takes the hits and one in dharoks who gets low hp and brings the pain. Strategically placed cannons can make the mole stay out of certain areas and can speed up the first part of the battle. Northwest corner and the little clear area to the south are great choices after he digs.

There was a way to repeatedly get mazes because it went directly off of high alch (not exclusively) but with more randoms added it was nerfed. Let me see if imageshack still has my pic because I know my comp doesn't. :cry: Edit: Imageshack had one of the screenies but it only has two events on it due to herb id'ing: The author should edit in what they posted near the bottom of page 1. The point was that there isn't a random-activater for fletching like there is for magic (teleing, alching, etc.) This also isn't available for crafting, firemaking, and a ton of other skills. Personally, I recieve the fewest randoms when fletching and firemaking. The most when alching, of course. :wink:

Next time drop everything except your clue, weapon, and any other item. That way you only lose the sextant, watch, map, and shovel but keep your clue. Probably didn't have much time but you can be prepared next time I guess. :? Oh, some people just enjoy killing others regardless of the loss or gain. They WERE pretty dumb to not wait for the second dig but no suprise there. :wink:

I have said this before: how can all of that xp be a waste? 10k monsters killed and a ton of levels is hardly a waste let alone the fact that I found out and shared important information with other tipit barrowers. :? As Leesters pointed out, the drops are equal and the price is determined by the demand. Personally, I have had 4 spears and have matched that with v skirts. The only drops that I haven't recieved at least once is any torag's, kh coif, and dh legs. Barrows has paid for my 2 santas, full g, v, kh (no coif), and dh. That and multiple prayer levels and other xp.

World 2 is about 75% wins for me and always packed. World 6 is nearly 100% wins but only during peak hours. World 9 is around 85% wins but if you hit a good group you can't lose. Peak hours are best. World 78 lags too much for me but I hear it is good. I think that I have gotten most of 3 combat levels there and it is VERY fast xp if you know what you are doing and have a good team.

It is possible and I have heard of it happening. I would rather kill them than get stuck fighting against 2 or 3 styles. Next time I go I will try to find the tunnel then get 10 KC without brothers and sprint to the chest, lol. Who knows. :lol:

All nests with seeds in them are identical. Before opening you can tell if it is a red, green, or blue egg, if it is a seed (tree, herb, vege, etc.), and if it is a ring. You cannot tell which rings or seeds are inside since the pic for them is identical. I think that the disappearance time SHOULD be shorter but only by half, max.

Similiar to those who can't hold a normal conversation without long strings of swear words with the f word being the favorite. They say noob to make themselves feel better, make you feel worse, and mostly to browbeat you into something that you don't want to do. "Sel me ur cape 10k" "Fire cape is untradeable, sorry." "Noob lier sell me it!!!11!1!!" or "Only nubz use prayer. We are same combat lets duel" or "You noob stake me 2 to 1 since you have higher att" (by 1...and all other stats are lower :roll: ) Use the ignore list and proceed with the rest of your life.

Farming, Slayer, Fletching, Herblore, Rc, Crafting, FM, Cooking, Magic, Range, Smithing, and Prayer are all skills that can be BOUGHT or their efficiency greatly increased with the help of others. Some are rather cheap to buy (cooking since you can resell the fish) and some are very expensive (such as cannoning 99 slayer through edge master) but they are all available with loads of cash. Attack, Defense, Strength, and Hp are semi-buyable if you consider that you can blow tons on awesome armor, super sets, and prayer pots. These skills, though, are the most enjoyable to train for the majority of players. Agility, Wc, Mining, Fishing, and Thieving are earned or barely bought skills (if you use energy pots, fishing pots, etc.) From this list Agility is the only skill that does not produce goods. Therefore, agility is the hardest and most impressive skill to train. It is all work and no profit but a very valuable skill nonetheless.
