From the pm that I personally recieved it looks like I was the only person to show up, lol. Noon eastern is 9 am pacific and if it isn't nobody was there at 10 am or 11 am (checking now). What the heck happened??? I would have to say that noon on a work/school day was a horrible choice either way... I was really looking forward to this. :cry: Oh well, a friend and I were already talking about ORGANIZING another trip, perhaps weekly. The ball was dropped in a huge way here and all those attack and strength pots are for naught, lol. :lol:

Everybody needs to stop answering questions that belong in the Help and Advice section. Not only is it against the rules but it encourages people to ask their questions in general p2p which clutters it up. After it is moved to a different forum feel free to answer it... repeatedly, hehe. Use the report button. I will keep putting this on the end of these questions and reporting the original post so that it can be moved if there are several replies already. Spread the word and stop in the h+a forum to lend a hand if you are knowledgeable. P.S. Since you did use the search button (congratz!) the answer to your second question is about 15 minutes. Mage in your melee gear and use fire strike to get some easy/cheap mage xp while you wait until you can unload with your whip etc.

Let's hope you hit submit when you meant to hit preview, otherwise I don't see how that could be considered very lucky... and there isn't a safe spot for kharil not to mention that nearly everyone prays against him since Jagex made steriods a legal option for him.

Owned, hehe. I love when people get knocked off their high horse. :D Anywho, I believe that is a picture of the longships that take you from the fremmy place to either Miscellania or the DK island. They look similiar but are docked at a different angle and seem to be different sizes (taking into account that they would be resized to fit the screen).

What usually works for me to prevent getting owned while teleing is either casting an alch or burying a bone. Either one will usually spawn a random when I am prepared to deal with it as opposed to it appearing when I am teleing for my life. I usually do one or the other when it has been at least 10 minutes from my last random and I think that I will need to tele within 2 or 3 minutes (aka second to last shark). Eat to near full, activate the random, and deal with it. I agree 100% that there is ZERO reason for them to be there. These places are dangerous enough without having to worry about a random event that can cost you millions. Randoms are there to defeat autoers and the least likely people to be autoing are those who fight dangerous beasts for cash. I would like to see an alch-macroer try that stuff at any of these locales. I wouldn't mind picking up their gp/bows and random events would be the last thing that would kill them there since the npcs are far more efficient. Perhaps the solution is making randoms that are triggered by teles not hit until AFTER the tele is complete. Wouldn't solve every problem but it would be a nice start. P.S. Randoms have been in barrows for at least 2 months if not since their "birth". The reason that I am 100% sure is when I was doing the original 10k kill count I was burying bones in hopes of a zombie. I wanted to make sure that they did not add to kill count (which they don't) and killed about 20 randoms (mostly shades).

I have one friend that gets a kick out of "accidently" sending a pm my way: "Man, don't you think rahks a noob?" "I can't wait until we asians buy america." "Of course his wife is a good lay!" "I totally hacked his account last night. Stole all his guams!" "If I wanted that shoved there I could easily reach around myself" Most of them are about my wife though, lol. She made the mistake of chatting with him once. He uses about 5 different characters daily so he almost always gets me. After the initial shock I usually just play along like he sent it to the right person lol. Good times.

Is the speed for barehanded combat the same as a dagger? If so, the weapon would have to have some blatant reason for being faster than your fists. Range weapons are easily explained by the lightness of the rounds used and the "effortless" (in comparison to swinging a great axe) amount of force required but a melee weapon that is faster than boxing would be rather hard to explain... short of something "magic" which is all together quite likely. I always thought claws should be faster than fists (try boxing with a roll of quarters; it allows faster delivery and recovery) but perhaps they will release a weapon "blessed" by some speed demon or something, hehe.

The point of this isn't to force people to meet here. It is simply a place to go when you are bored so that you can always find another tip.iter. Whenever I burthope a task I will stop and chat! Saw you two at Rogue's Den ^^^^ I play (Rahkurwrld) and my wife of nearly 4 years plays (Cower In Awe) but we usually can't play at the same time due to having two young daughters. It is funny because our characters are opposite of our own sex. My stats are in my sig but my wife is like 60 combat or something. She refuses to take on anything higher than half her level. :roll: Other than that she just spends my rs gp like my real cash but I still love her. :wink:

Any way that pays a lot should be mentioned in the guide regardless whether it helps you personally or not. If your tip consisted of "I buy ash 10k each" then it is still a very good money maker. The problem arises only if your whole thread is about you and your personal business. I also doubt that you are the only person who pays for certain things to be smithed so it applies elsewhere as well. Great guide so far, I can't wait to see the Mage Guild's cash per hour.

You have two REAL options: 1. Move until only one healer can hit you and deal with the damage. 2. Luck out and hide from jad while you deal with the healers with melee pro. The second is harder because jad is not as controllable as most npcs due to his size but would work much better. Use the western jut as a seperator and good luck.

Change the title when it is complete so we can enjoy it. Feel free to post the entire guide here since I have heard that you are one of the get-rich-quick fellows and I am sure that we would all like to join you lol. This should be moved only if it is strictly f2p (in my opinion.)

Odd does it if you ask really nice and I think he only charges 50k. I found this out on accident when I asked him if he knew any 90 crafters and he told me he did. I teled to the meeting spot and he came up. I was sort of irritated that he beat the crafter there but lo and behold he WAS the crafter! :oops: :oops: :oops: He crafted them both using the "trust trade" where I gave him the stone and hoped he didn't log with it:lol: (he is 100% NOT like that). I only mention this because he has a thread up somewhere that says that he crafts at half price otherwise I wouldn't "pihmp" his skills out for others' use. If we could get a list it would be a handy sticky but I am not sure which forum would be the best. Perhaps the market?

Very polite but... we were in it. "I am 45 years old." No clue why they told me that or repeated it until I replied. A couple others of course but those were the most confusing or humorous (and DISGUSTING) that I could think of.

A "smart" merchant will find no barrier to buying from macroers since they usually sell huge amounts cheaper. This brings me to the original point of not buying easily macroed products on a large scale. In summation: Yes, and I don't buy those goods from them for the same reason.

I think rc pking is lame but only because of the meager profit and that some rc pkers themselves are lame. The pk is usually small and the kills are hard if their target has a lick of intelligence or luck. This is not a "smart" way to spend your time. I think that the best rc pker would be able to pull in no more than 200k an hour, which is pretty shabby and only possible with a ton of world hopping and patience. Since they are obviously not there for the huge amounts of cash that is rolling in they are there for another reason: fun. Some people enjoy killing others regardless of the profit or loss per kill. These people I have no problem with personally (see Castle Wars) and enjoy doing this very same thing in other games (DOD etc.) I would think that most people don't have a problem with that concept. The part that offends people is the fact that the kill gains the pker MUCH less than it costs the pkee. Woot, glory vs. Great, 2-3 pouches to reaquire. Because of this unbalance most pkees think of the pker in this situation as cruel. In most cases they are simply out for fun and possibly a little profit with nearly zero risk and give little to no thought of the cost that they are making their pkees pay. They simply just don't think about it, are callous and don't care, and/or enjoy the fact that they are causing all of that "pain". I would expect rc pkers to allow the pkees to return and collect their pouches unchallenged since this means that they have another chance at a glory. The problem is some rc pkers are total scum and ENJOY that they just made the game that much harder for another person and will go to every extent possible to keep those pouches out of the pkees hands. They LIKE that their kill has to spend 30+ minutes killing monsters for horrible xp and pouches. These people are the ones that I despise and are the ones that most people refer to when they speak of "lame rc pkers". I agree that they should go back to feeding birds ex-lax. With all that being said I think that most rc pkers are lame because they waste their time for little profit and cause unintended hardship on others. Max profit or xp is what I find fun in this game and if I want to kill others I choose another game or go someplace where their is some ACTUAL profit. The cruel ones are the ones that I hate because they enjoy the suffering of others which is just wrong on every level. Go ahead and rc pk, though, because I will gladly make more cash and xp rcing while you have your fun. :wink: I am serious. Have fun while I enjoy my runes and xp.

This is a perfect example of why I do not purchase large quantities of autoable goods regardless of their low prices. I will purchase tons of d bones for example but will never buy over 1k yews from a single individual. I know that buying from somebody that is selling 500k ess or 100k yews is most likely an autoer and choose not to support them. I have several friends that do the same. The article is disgusting on every level not to mention quite disturbing. Now ending autoers also has another huge bonus of lessening the appeal of sweatshop labor (to a small extent). If they simply took a lot of little steps to make autoing less appealing then I think that the problem would solve itself until the demand for ill-gotten gp goes up enough to make it worthwhile again. Keeping the price of 1mil gp as high as possible does two very good things on the buying side: 1. Makes those who purchase it have to pay more cash per 1mil. 2. Makes it less appealing to buy it since the real cash cost is so very high. Since nothing will entirely defeat autoers I think that the closest we can come to victory is to drive the price of 1mils upwards of $50 US each. Only then will it start to suffer immensely on the demand side.

If you don't have hundreds of thousands of kills logged with and without a ROW you can't comment with any authority on it's (in)effectiveness. Regardless of whether it works or not your tiny sample is HARDLY proof either way. Not trying to be mean but this topic is as old as the ROW itself and just as inneffectively debated now as then.

This sounds like a good pking opportunity lol. I don't pk but if I had the chance to crush a few "star"-gazers I would gladly do so. The only thing that comes close to the annoyance level of autoers (to me anyway) are the "OMFG zezima iz lyk totaly HERE!!!! come wrld 1923387!!!" people. No offense to zez but it is just lame. Idolize somebody who has done something REAL and world altering. The only difference to me is that he is good for screenshots (see one of the last pages in the HYT thread). :lol: I am glad that the flaming people apologized. It is really impressive and reflects well on themselves' and the community.
