Check out the weekly online comic on the Heroes site. It touches on the Eden storyline. I think she decided to go it alone since she found herself in disagreement with Mr. Bennett. She decided to give Isaac a way out and then really did want to put an end to Sylar. My guess is that she did have some remorse over the things she'd done, whether by her own choice, or being forced to be a plant by Mr. Bennett. Once confronted by Sylar, she knew the only way to keep him from getting her power was for her to obliterate the "timepiece" parts he wanted to snatch from her. As for the Peter Storyline... I think Peter is exposed to the radioactive guy. I suspect that absorbing that power would prove to be completely uncontrollable, seeing as it was for the guy who has the power and "accidentally" burned as much as he did the first time. By the time Peter might meet him, that power will be much stronger, and much less controllable by someone who hasn't had it. In Peter's dream, he didn't know what was going on...it appears to be an accident on his part. Anywho, I can't wait for January 22nd!

I can't wait for January 22nd now!!! I'm glad we're starting to see more character development for the Haitian guy. Poor Peter though, he so desperately wants to save the world and then dreams that he's the bomb. Gah. Oh well, we'll find out more in seven weeks.

Even though it's human to set expectations based on appearance, gender expectations are rather limiting for men and women...IMO. I don't want anyone to expect LESS from me physically then they would a man. I don't want people to expect me to make decisions based on my emotions either. Nor do I want people to assume that I like chocolate, chick flicks, clothes shopping or that I do girl push-ups. It's always amusing to me when I surprise people because they expect me to be what they think is a "typical female" and I blow them out of the water. If I'm qualified to do a job/task that is mostly done by men, you'd better believe I'll do my fair share. Why the heck would I do that sort of job if I couldn't? If everyone gets paid for quantity of work, that's fine by me. If you're gonna pay me less because I'm a woman, then you'd better be prepared to measure my productivity against other people's. Anywho, just thought I'd drop my two cents in.

Ha! Well said! Just to touch on a few things mentioned here, and I haven't made note of who said what this time. The "good rants" also require maintenance. Some of the best ones we've had have been kept alive because moderators prune out the garbaggio and flames. Additionally, some of our good ones MAY be on the list of things not to post but if a rant is well crafted and the replies are in keeping with a good rant, it may be left on the forum. The Noob sticky seems to be faring well. If anything, I do think it's cut down on the number of "people who call others noobs stink" threads. Stickies in general, don't get read as often as we'd like. A lot of work has been done to reduce the number of stickies though, so it might be worth putting more topics up there. I'm going to move the rant guide up to announcement to see if that helps with the popularity of the stickies. In regard to the disappearance of good rants, unfortunately accidents happen. If you think about how many times you've accidentally double posted, imagine the accidental things that could happen if you were managing a TON of threads at once. I realize it's not idea, but accidents happen. The server lag issues have been reduced, so hopefully we'll run into fewer situations like this. Anywho...continue your discussion. I'm still paying attention, even if I'm not replying a bunch. \

As it turns out, the Archive of Wisdom and Player-Made Guides were suggestions made by Tip.It users. Having a Clan section is simply an essential component. That's not to say that our users don't make suggestions based on other sites, but that was not the inspiration for these changes. Aside from that, competitive analysis is an essential part of making any site successful. If YOU are comparing Tip.It with other sites, it's only natural for us to make note of what other sites have that we don't. Does that mean we copy them? Heck no. Does that mean we try to provide something bigger and better? Absolutely. We'd be foolish not to check out the competition to ensure that we remain the best RuneScape FanSite available.

Another thing to check is the user rank. If someone has violated the rules enough to get a lengthy time out, their rank will indicate as much.
