  1. Yep. We'll see how the voting shakes out. Thanks for posting your idea. - Ard
  2. I'm leaning towards "Multimedia Entertainment," which would allow for Movies, TV. Music and Books. Tech and Computers would still host the gaming topics. Varrock Library is more for original writing authored by our users. Make sense?
  3. Just to clarify...you want a sticky for "Post your Guide requests here"? It doesn't seem out of scope...just a matter of finding the right forum to place it.
  4. Unfortunately, those who make accounts for the purpose of generating spam posts with bad links, etc. include Forum Games on their lists of forums to post to. Exceptions become targets for garbaggio.
  5. Miscellania Seed Nest Count: 64 total including... - 18 Acorn - 12 Apple - 6 Willow - 5 Banana - 4 Calquat, Pineapple, Curry, Orange - 3 Yew, Maple - 1 Papaya
  6. Thread has been cleaned up. Please stay on topic. It's about posting condolences, not for sports-related banter. - Ard
  7. There is quite a spread of time zones among staffers. Keep in mind that you can't always see when we are online. Sometimes we pop in to take care of business without being visible.
  8. Aside from making sure your OS is updated and all Virus/Spyware/Adware scans have been run recently, I'd recommend that you install HijackThis and post a log here.
  9. It would take the LEAST effort for users to post in the right place to begin with. Not every misplaced post is locked, trust me. However, due to the overabundance of repeat misplaced-posters, locking is often the best solution to trigger users to post in the correct place. If a user should have known better than to post in the wrong spot, a lock is appropriate. If we moved every misplaced post, there'd be TONS of "moved" shadows and many users would never take the time to find the right forum before they post. To the point of moderators tagging edits...I always put my name on edits and locks so if you have a question about anything I've done to your threads, let me know. - Ard
  10. The posted stats do not appear to mesh gavinwong0. I did notice that what is normally a dynamic signature appears to be a screen capture that has been uploaded, which means it isn't updating with new levels. At the time of this post, HighScores has you at 1373 total level, which is consistent with your posted levels (not stat-sig). Please check/correct your posted stats gavinwong0. I'm afraid your thread will continue to be reported unless you clarify or correct the images. - Ard
  11. Not a Blog. Not much can be done from here. You'd be better off subbmitting an inquiry to Jagex in case it's something they can help you with.
  12. The planking alone will run you $348,734 (regular plank & nails) to $421,388 (Oak planks) assuming you need 3487.3 Regular plank/nails or 1685.6 Oak Planks. If you pay a servant along the way, add up to another 50kish. If you purchase every possible room along the way including the Portal Chamber (two bedrooms for servant), you'll spend another 332kish (222k without Portal). I'll not go into cost of Teak/Mahogony and other materials but this gives you a rough idea. Have fun!
  13. Yep, you got the gist of it. It's easy to find people who are combat-based or skill-based. It's also easy to find players who have blazed one or two skills to 99 with most far behind and a few not even ranked on Highscores. I just came up with my own thing by keeping my skill span tight. To answer your question, the variance is the difference between each skill level and the skill average. So, you calculate the variance for each skill from the average -> square each value -> add the squared values together -> divide by 22 -> find square root.
  14. Thanks for posting!!! I love slayer. It keeps the combat work interesting. I don't have to figure out what I want to kill, which is helpful. Check out this post (page 13 of this thread) for an explanation of standard deviation. Thanks! I don't often play with chat on but I do believe you are still on my list.
  15. What! Who are you and what have you done with SwampJedi?
  16. I'd recommend that you run Antivirus/Ad/Spyware scans. If you stumble on the problem again, a screenshot would be most useful. Moving this to Tech forum.
  17. Are you suggesting Sticky threads for these categories, or additional forums?
  18. I feel that it would be a disservice to the Tip.It Community to narrow down this sort of assessment to just a few staff members. The Tip.It Staff works the forum reports as a team and represents the Community as a whole since we all started out as mere posting/reporting users wondering if we were adding any value to the forums. The "quality" measure you are all looking for is quite active albeit not visible to all users in the form of a ranking or "present"...unless you consider the influx of Moderators, Administrators and Crew Members added on a regular basis. Essentially, we all recognize quality reporters and do our best to communicate it to them. - Ard

  22. You bet! I watched it spring into existence. It's nice to have another name on the list there.
  23. Kurask Slayer task bumped my Range and yet no stuffable head was to be found. Next task: Standard Deviation: 5.38
  24. Talk about some serious goals. I am in awe. Good luck and have fun!
