  1. Trying to figure out the order + as narrow a date as i can get, as to when certian items were introduced into the game, pertaining to str bonus on training gear (not including str amulet, its impractical for most training) Baseline: Dragon long, Climbing Boots, Zerker Helm, Klanks Early 2004: abyssal whip +82 End 2004: Barrows (not faster than whip training however, except Str w\ Dh) Mid 2005: Obby, Fury +2, Shield +5, Cape +4 (over previous items in that slot) End 2005?: Waterbirth isle, Zerker ring, +4 ??Mid 2006??: Barrows Gloves, +12 Early 2007: Torso, +4 Any tips (:
  2. Yea, there are already about 2,000-4,000 sites that are denied (because of security.) I just add runescape to the list and it takes a solid 30min-45min to scroll to runescape :)
  3. You don't really need to list all the items individually sheesh. With dragon its easy. 2bar dragon item < whip 3bar dragon item > whip All the melee barrows have same store value.
  4. Yea no need to keep the addy one. I have 9 :)
  5. OK... I've gotten about 5-6+ chains there. The drop rate is good she is just a pain to kill, 1 per trip means ALOT of walking, thats the worst part. Always go with a good friend, make sure they aren't too poor or too rich, just an average normal player is best. Usually after a chain drop, the best thing to do is go sell it ASAP and split the cash, and continue KQ'ing. Don't let the person "hold onto it so it goes up in price" etc. The longer they have it in theyre posession the less likely you are to get a share. I would never cut a deal like: "Lets KQ until we get 1 chains each." Sure they might follow through, but if they get the chain first they'll be really unmotivated to KQ anymore, and you'll be stuck on the rotten end. As for the other drops, basically whoever gets it, keeps it. Usually no one cares about the other drops, sometimes I ask for the zammy wines to help my herblore, and I'll offer some mith arrow drops if they want, stuff like that. For D2H/Dmed drops, it really depends how well you know the other person, if my partner got a D2H i wouldn't care if they wanted to keep it.
  6. He is talking about dag kings.
  7. swarms, i can usually never see the blasted things at daggantohs or slayer tower.
  8. Well, ive been training slayer for about 4weeks now, ive gone from 65 to 81, and now im going to make the final hard push for 85. I'm now quite there yet :D At any rate, some people i know have said that 85slayer isnt really worth it anymore. I'm getting it reguardless, but just curious what everyone here thinks. I dont really post here much, my rsn is overvolt anyways, working on a siggy.
  9. I think i just had the exact same idea.... lol
  10. I was pondering about the runescape trade system. Standing around for a while and typing "selling x item x gp ---- x rsn" for hours really takes the fun out of trading. This is why i use forums. Now, i thought, why not have an ingame trade\sell\buy forum. This could be in the form of a special trade shop. Think: the drop party house in seers, of course, completely different, but thinking along the same idea. You would deposit an item, say an Abbysal whip, and maybe a menu similar to one for the duel arena would ask you some questions, such as allowing lower offers, asking what your price is ect, if your selling noted items, say 4k yew logs, you can set minimum amount allowed to buy, and the price per log you want. So, essentially, you could deposit a whip in the special trade center\store, and have an asking price of say, 5.2m...Other people can look at the store with a right click option, and see what other people are selling, and there should be a clear way to scroll down a listing with the price people are asking. There should be an option 'Make offer' if you do not want to pay that price, or want to offer items instead, you can offer the items\cash, and then the person with that item in the special shop, will be sent a notice, think about something similiar to the tele-other accept or decline box, where he can accept or decline the offer. There will have to be some work, tweaking, and lots of thought put into this, but it really could revolutionize trading in runescape. I thougt there should be some stipulations if such an idea were ever implemented. First, your items will only be put up for auction in the store for 24hours, after that the items are automatically put back into your bank when you log on. Also, your items in that shop will have to be hidden while you are logged off, or else the notification about an offer will get complicated. But really, i think this could potentially be something really great, the old trade system should always be in the game, but this could be like an in-game forum to buy and sell, should it catch on, it could be a real time saver in trying to sell items. For instance, and rune smither could put noted rune axes into the shop, and ask 18k per, with a limit of one, options that should be available when you deposit items to be displayed. Also, this just poped into my head, the notifications can't be received while in the wilderness or castlewars, or while in combat. Anyway, whats your thoughts and suggestions? I realize this would be a huge undertaking, but think, if it is carefully implemented it would be a huge, and i mean huge revolution in runescape item trading.
