Indifferent about her music. I find her really hot 90% of the time and then really weird looking the other 10%.
  2. I'm not sure, but why would the movies finally make you realize that? The movies actually weren't really all that great. The series though, that was just epic. I was actually extremely surprised that the new season is just as good as the first four, I didn't think that would happen at all.
  3. The Bourne Identity, The Bourne Supremacy and The Bourne Ultimatum - The Bourne Trilogy is awesome, as always. Looked pretty great on blu-ray as well.
  4. So is any part of this game free?
  5. The Fifth Element - Absolutely awesome looking on blu-ray. This is the sort of movie everyone should watch once standard def, then once on blu-ray (on a full HD TV) and then they will definitely see the difference...
  6. It's hard for me to judge since they are all pretty damn awesome, and it's actually been quite a while since I've seen them. If I had to choose though I would go with Identity>Ultimatum=Supremacy, but it's all pretty close.
  7. The commentary for that was pretty funny as well.
  8. I just bought the Bourne Trilogy on blu-ray, I should go ahead and watch those...
  9. Cute kid, congratulations!
  10. It's one of the movies that got me closest (but not quite there) to crying, there are one or two sadder movies though.
  11. I was actually disappointed by Ghost in the Shell, I'm guessing mostly because I thought it would be the second most awesome anime ever (behind Akira of course) and be completely epic, but for some reason I found it a little stupid at points. It is probably just a personal thing. I also prefer a few of the Miyazaki films over Akira but I can see why Akira is often considered the best and forerunner of anime.
  12. Unknown program? Are you [bleep]ing kidding me?
  13. Yeah the Steam download is OK.
  14. I was wondering when this would make it here...
  15. You mean like Mc90123 mentioned literaly 6 posts above? PC version of ME is riddled with DRM, to the point that some people can't even play it solely because of the DRM problem.
  16. Making a topic in a movie forum about anime films and not mentioning Akira in the OP should be punishable by death.
  17. Turn off subtitles? It's not in English. I know it isn't but I thought maybe you got a dub of it judging from how you worded your last sentence. Didn't know dubs didn't exist of the movie either, never pay attention to dubs since they are an affront to the film anyways. If I had my way dubs wouldn't exist, they are almost always absolutely horrible. The only place they kind of work are animated films originally in a different language. It only takes seeing two or three movies subbed before you get used to it, if I were you I would just watch a few more and then you will be fine with them.
  18. Turn off subtitles? @Bloodstain: The Good, the Bad and the Weird was just freaking awesome.
  19. I also recently started watching Carnivale, and I like it, but the first season dragged and made too little sense for my liking. Season 2 is about a hundred times better and I'm only four episodes in. Been on a TV binge lately. I've now seen all of Six Feet Under, almost all of Carnivale, and the first seasons of Deadwood and Dexter. I really like them all, though SFU is by far my favorite. Six Feet Under is pretty decent. A really good series finale. If you want some more death related stuff then check out Dead Like Me and Pushing Daisies, they both tend more towards comedy than drama though.
  20. Thank you for your educated input in this conversation. Not that I care about private chat since I don't partake of that aspect of video games (only play with people I am sitting next to), but it is a pretty big thing that is not too hard to implement that is missing, so it is legitimate criticism.
  21. Well if you are getting CAMS when getting pirated DVDs you are doing it wrong, those always suck. I haven't watched one of those in years because I just can't stand them. As for never having obnoxious people in the theatre that is just impossible, though I guess it really depends on what you mean by all the time and how long you have been going to see movies.
  22. I would seriously pay double price to go to a "quiet" theatre showing in which you aren't allowed to make any noise. No food, no drinks, no talking, no kids, no oohs and aahs, no bathroom breaks. But I would actually prefer to go to the theatre and no one else be in my screening. Scott Pilgrim actually has been doing pretty horribly at the box office, which sucks in a way since I liked it but was awesome in a way in that it means not too many people are going to see it. There were only 4 groups of people in my screening numbering from 2-4 people each. We all sat really far apart from each other and no one made any discernible noise. It was one of the best theatre experiences I have had.
  23. Yes, if they got permission from the copyright owners, which they obviously did.
  24. The first half of the movie is pretty close to book 1, but then they condense book 2-6 into the second half of the movie so you lose a lot. Still the movie was great, it is a different media than comics so you can't expect it to be the same.
  25. I don't think you can beat Arrested Development. It would be epic if a show someday did, I just don't think it is possible. Seinfeld is probably my number two, there are laugh out loud moments but it is mostly because of how good of a show it is. It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia is funnier than Seinfeld but not quite as "good". As you can tell only Seinfeld from that list is in your 80s and 90s era, I just didn't find many all that funny. Laugh tracks really degrade a show, my last rewatch of the Seinfeld series it was actually getting a little grating.
