  1. While The Wackness is a good movie, Charlie Bartlett is the correct one that he is looking for. In The Wackness the kid supplies the psychologist with pot, and in CB the kid fakes symptoms so his psychologist gives him medicine which he then sells to other kids.
  2. That's the one! Thanks a bunch :D No problem. I actually haven't seen it since it first came out, might watch it again this weekend now that you reminded me  .
  3. Charlie Bartlett  EDIT: It was easy to find since I knew two actors in it off the top of my head, RDJ and Kat Dennings.
  4. Tiny sun? That so reminds me of Spider-Man 2. The tiny sun that is around a foot across in SM2 is millions of times bigger than what is happening with this nuclear fusion.
  5. I'm not seeing the point of creating a planet. The mass vs usable area ratio is just way, way too small. Also did they put stuff in the ground such as metals and oil so they can mine for it later? It just makes no sense to make a planet. It is kind of cool though. And creating a star is just all out awesome.
  6. I dislike when stories like these get topics made about them, generally you get a few fear mongering people along with many who are willing to listen to non-sense (see the LHC topic) and that just annoys me. SCIENTISTS ARE SMARTER THAN YOU OR I. They know what is safe or not, and in this case creating mini-suns is just as safe as creating mini black holes with the LHC. While these have amazing attributes for their size, they are so small that they are nothing to worry about at all. Also everyone should know about fusion reactors and that they don't get invented until 2050. (SimCity 2000)
  7. Fanboys is [bleep]ing awesome.
  8. Hmm, that's a better laptop that I thought you could get for that price. Still if you want to do rendering you should get a desktop, you can spend less and get better performance. Then buy a cheap netbook to take around to classes. Also the specs for that laptop say 3.5 hr battery life and I don't think that is anywhere near possible for that laptop, that must be in a very low power mode in which the screen is turned down a lot, as well as the processor. If you are rendering then you should expect less than half of that battery life.
  9. What he wants is a desktop. A $1000 laptop will not be able to do 3D rendering, have a decent screen size and good battery life.
  10. I don't think my PS3 has been turned on in a month.
  11. You know what, now that you mention that I think it is time to watch it again.
  12. If you haven't watched it on blu-ray on a nice 1080p screen then be prepared for even more awesomeness when you do.
  13. Yeah there are many, many more than just 100 billion planets. While it is very, very probably that alien life exists it isn't nearly as probably that humanity would ever encounter any.
  14. Maybe he is talking about North Korea putting on make-up to colour up their cheeks a bit.

I thought those were ironic bleepings. http://www.southparkstudios.com/news/3878 So they actually weren't ironic bleepings like I thought. Fun fact, you can see Muhammad in the picture they posted with this news update. It is just the last scene of the intro sequence of every episode so he might actually be in every episode (well since they did this title sequence), too lazy to go back and look. Kind of hard to see anyways (Muhammad is right below the Devil).
  16. Most of the time it is OK to go ahead and post if you know what game it is, but there will be times that it is actually wrong and that causes problems. That happened when I posted the Pitfall like picture earlier, it was a screen shot from the Pitfall minigame in Marvel: Ultimate Alliance 2. The screenshot looked almost exactly like Pitfall just with a very small and not very detailed Thor instead of a stick person.

  18. Nothing works for me either. I also wish I could put something on my lower back, it sweats like no other.

Had they uncensored Muhammad after Tom Cruise was uncensored this would have easily been the most epic South Park episode yet, possibly even the best single episode of any cartoon ever. However, since they didn't and did the crazy censoring afterward it was just disappointing. There was even a part or two in the episode that I went crazy laughing like I haven't from a SP episode in a long time, no reveal at the end just ruined it though.
  20. There is no reason that the manuals can't be integrated into the game menu.
  21. ... what? Why would a site that provides walkthroughs and cheats be shutdown because of an online or PDF manual? You realize that most manuals already have a PC version right? Can't say that makes any sense. Anyways I haven't bought a retail game in a while (sticking to digital download/Gamefly) and I haven't read a manual since the old BG2 manual. I'm not following his line of reasoning either. Manuals and walkthroughs are two entire different things.
  22. Oh man that could be a good idea. There are a few people that I would want to sign my copy of Mass Effect 2.
  23. The manual is one incentive to actually buy the game rather than just downloading it somewhere. Not surprised to see Ubisoft doing something that causes more people to pirate a game. I do like manuals, and every now and then a game will have a good one (Neverwinter Nights had to be bound there were so many pages), but in reality they just aren't exactly needed anymore. They better include them on the actual discs though, I do not want to have to try and find it online somewhere.
  24. It depends on if you plan on watching movies on your laptop or not. If yes, go for at least the BR-ROM, if not then the DVD will be fine. I'd wait on getting a BR-RW until prices of blank media go down, just get the burner for your desktop then.
  25. That's a pretty screwed up problem. It almost looks like application focus is the problem but really I have no idea, it is just weird.
