LOST: The Final Season
If you aren't completely caught up I would recommend not reading this topic. I am not really sure how you think you know she dies though from what you quoted anyways. 2nd and 3rd seasons have a decent amount of not all that great episodes. I was extremely disappointed with s2 demystifying The Others for a long time. 4 definitely picks back up. The main part about s5 I absolutely hated, but it also introduced the best character in the series so I am so-so with that. S6 is looking pretty good. But still you never quite get that feeling that you got when you watched s1, especially after the finale and waiting a few months before more episodes. That has been the high point of the series in my opinion.

So you are one of the crappy drivers who doesn't understand how roads work. There is absolutely no reason you should ever be passed on the right. If you are in the left lane you should be passing someone, which would mean no one could pass you on the right. If there is no one in the right lane then you should be there.

The Pacific (from creators of Band of Brothers)
Yeah I've been waiting for this for a while. I wasn't actually a huge fan of Band of Brothers, but I did think it was good.

Lady Gaga - The Fame Monster
It wasn't really all that great. It was kind of weird, but mostly just boring. Interesting to see the [kitty] Wagon (of Kill Bill fame) in something else.

question: website?
You could try squarespace. According to the advertisement in every episode of Tekzilla/HD Nation (revision3) it is easy to use, even if you know nothing about building websites.

Thinkin bout builiding this
I've never understood brand loyalty between video cards (or processors). ATI/Nvidia, AMD/Intel, they all have fast expensive hardware and cheaper slower hardware. I've gone back and forth between them in all combinations and they have all worked fine.

LOST: The Final Season
So it was a Ben episode, which means it was pretty good. However, the highlight of the show was when Miles and Ben were talking while Ben was digging his grave and Miles casually throws out that "...they were buried alive..." (in reference to Nicki and Paulo or whatever their names were). Got a good chuckle out of that.

I'd actually suggest the opposite, get a 320gig for $40-45. Save a little money and it will be plenty of space for quite a while. Upgrade later if you need to.

Mass Effect Thread
Heh, surprised it took this long for someone to make a video of that song. Especially one that appears to only have taken 2 minutes to make.

What movie(s) did you last see?
I love Die Hard! I only just watched the movies like.. in December but they were epic. Now I feel like watching them all again! I watched them in January, and was planning to rewatch them again next month... They bumped up the schedule a bit. I watched them in December, Christmas Eve to be exact  . I'm going to make that a tradition, Die Hard (1, at least) every Christmas Eve. Tried to the past few years but kept on forgetting. Then after you watch 1 you just can't not watch 2-4.

Stupid People
I have so, so many complaints about drivers. First, don't text/talk on a cell phone while driving. You may think you drive fine like that, but you aren't. You are [bleep]ing up everyone else on the road whether you realize it or not. Of the few people I know who text/talk while driving, they all think they drive fine while doing that. They don't. If you talk/text, you are driving badly. Without fail. There is no [bleep]ing excuse to put my life on the line (driving is really dangerous) do so you can give half your attention to some unimportant correspondence (if it is important you shouldn't be focusing on driving, just pull off the road). If all that would happen would be your death I wouldn't care what you did, but there have been so many close calls with idiots who aren't paying attention. If you are going slow, stay in the slow lane. The fast lane is for people moving fast. It isn't a mark on your character that you are being passed while staying in the slow lane, don't worry about it. If you are in the fast lane and going the same speed as someone in the slow lane, even if you are over the speed limit, do something to get over. Fast lane doesn't mean go 5mph over the speed limit, it is just for passing slower cars. If you aren't passing, you don't qualify for the fast lane, stay in the slow lane. The point of on ramps is to get up to highway speeds before merging into traffic. That means if you aren't going to same speed as the cars on the highway by the time you are trying to merge you are doing it wrong. So many people have problems with merging, and the only reason is they are trying to merge while going too slow. If you are at the same speed cars on the highway are going by the time you merge then even in the most densely packed highway the cars on the highway have to do very little to let you in. If you are going slower then you need to find a much, much larger opening before you can slip in. As for city driving, there is no need to slow down if the car next to you is slowing down. They are just turning, don't be afraid, they aren't going to wreck into. I get stuck behind so many people who do this, both are chugging along at around 40 (failing the second thing listed above), then one starts to slow down to turn and the other, right next to the first but in absolutely no way affected by the second turning, will still slow down. Idiot drivers annoy the hell out of me.

Building a computer
Don't want to thread hi-jack, but quick question: is there any DVD drive that reads at faster than 16x?

What movie(s) did you last see?
Brazil is great, if a little slow. Terry Gilliam at his best in some people's opinion (I would still go with 12 Monkeys as his best though). KoH you will hear mixed things about, I didn't think it was all that great. O' Brother might be might favourite Coen Brother's film, I am not a huge fan of theirs though.

Possibly buying a new computer - new question
Well then you might want to wait and see what others will say, it might be a good idea to go with my computer build and a $300 video card since you want this for gaming, but it also might be better to get better parts than what are in my build and go for a ~$200 or so video card. EDIT: Damn, forgot something else. It's hard to remember all these things that I never buy since I just re-use. You'll need to add a DVD drive to the build, from what I know you can just get a cheap $25-30 one.

Possibly buying a new computer - new question
I don't know much about buying computer cases, I never bought one before. I just re-use older cases. If it were me I'd go as cheap as possible, but others would probably suggest something else. Probably should get advice about that from someone else, along with the video cards. I haven't checked those in forever either. I just remembered you'll have to work in the cost of an operating system too, unless you have access to one. If you are in college you can usually get them through the university for $5-$15. Otherwise the cheapest you'll get is $100 for Win7 from newegg. Make sure to get the 64bit version. My computer build was $417+$100 for OS means you have $233 for case and video card, which will buy you a good video card and cheap case.

Possibly buying a new computer - new question
Well then you have nothing at all to worry about, you can get my computer (check second to last post for final build) plus tower and video card. It runs ME2 smoothly on maximum settings at 1920x1080.

Possibly buying a new computer - new question
So does the $750 include the monitor or not, since the link you gave is for around 750 but without a monitor, yet it seems like your post states the $750 is supposed to include the monitor. If it's $750 without a monitor there will be no problem with getting a good gaming PC. Do you have any parts you can reuse such as mouse/keyboard, case, ect...? Or do you have to start completely from scratch?

Ordered and received. CD's and DVD's.
I'm pretty excited, haven't seen it before but now I get to in glorious blu-ray  .

building my own computer :)
Sadly it appears to be money down the drain. To really be certain, you could try and find another computer to put it in and see if it works.

8.8-Magnitude Earthquake Strikes Chile
I'm Taiwanese (as if I don't broadcast that enough) and I thought about posting it, but I suppose Saru is right. I think 12 people were injured. And a 6.4 is like 1/6th the power of the Haiti quake. I'll just keep talking though since it was brought up...although Taiwan is one of the densest countries in Asia, the epicenter was in the mountains. Taiwan is also pretty prepared for earthquakes though - two 7.0's hit around the same time a few years back and only like 2 people died. Though there was also a 6.5 earthquake near Indonesia. I'd think that'd be more serious since Indonesia is a much poorer country, but apparently not. Note: Don't bring up Taiwan or else I'll just keep going off on tangents. :-P 6.4 isn't 1/6th of an 8.8, it is something like 1/20,000th.

building my own computer :)
It's sounding more like you have either a bad video card or motherboard. One last thing to try is check out device manager. There's probably a way to get to it in control panel, but I usually just right click My Computer->properties->hardware tab->device manager. See if it is listed in display adapters or not. Also, see if there are any yellow backed exclamation marks in there, that means a piece of hardware doesn't have drivers. Your motherboard may need some drivers to handle the video card right. Not sure why it would, but it may.

My issues with the United States
Well that is just completely wrong, when the health debate really got started last year the majority of people wanted it. Then Fox News and the like started turning out FUD and propaganda against it, and the Democrats were too chicken [cabbage] to do anything about it when they had a super-majority. That disillusioned many citizens, along with the continuing propaganda, to where now it may not be supported by the majority. If the insurance companies didn't own the Republicans and the Democrats weren't limp [bleep]s worried about re-elections 2 years away then we could have got a bill through last fall that would have actually helped Americans.
