my family got our first computer in 1991, when i was five. i never actually bought a computer until 1 to 2 years ago, the one i am on now :D

the IRA disbanded? man, i didnt even know that. did it ever make it onto the news? im sad to say i have not heard of the ETA before, but its good that there is at least a ceasefire.

that was the same problem i had with the graphics. look at a wall 10 feet in front of you, some of it would be rendered, other parts wouldnt be and you could see through it to the dead space.

yeah, this is definently the most awesome computer i have ever had (compared to what else is out at the time). now i just have to hope i can hook it all together :lol: . and hope the order actually goes through, chase doesnt really like me to make such a large purchase over the internet :lol: .

theres no way i will be able to be the first done now, not that i would have been anyways. i have to get every single piece of loot i can, i leave nothing behind :twisted: . sucks in morrowind right now because of corprus meat, weighs about 5 a piece and it always sells for 1g, no matter how many you have. i dont think its something that any sane person would ever loot :lol: . turns out my credit card was rejected, i only ordered $635 worth of stuff, and my credit line is $900, so i dont know how they figured that one up :? . now i have to get on the phone and try to work this crap out.

yep, a map came with it. they might have printed them on the same pieces of paper, they are the same size and feel the same. but morrowinds is much, much, much better. has about 7 cities on the map, plus the main city, about 4 rivers and then just areas. not detailed at all. morrowind's had the sunken ships marked, the dwemer ruins, the daedroth shrines, the dunmer strongholds, and every city on the map. dont see oblivions map helping all that much, but that is supposed to be taken care of in game. anyways, ive finally calmed down some. im going to play some more morrowind until my computer parts come, they should be here saturday or monday. ive waited this long, i might as well wait another week. kind of pisses me off that i drove around so much this morning and wasted all that gas just to get it today.

thats the one i found, but was discounted because i need a micro atx not a regular atx. thanks for the help _k0m0d0_! but i do have a few questions :lol: EDIT: checked on asus website, this motherboard will work. so ignore this part :lol: that motherboard you listed said: the chip i am getting is an athlon 64 x2 they also give another option for motherboards as thats why i figured that athlon 64 x2 was different than athlon x2, but i really dont know. seems odd they would make two categories if they are the same thing, but maybe someone just forgot to add the "64" part to the other category. but if you are pretty sure that motherboard will work, thats definently exactly what i was looking for :D the video card thing was odd, i fell under the bigger number is better hype i guess, i saw a 7300 for as cheap as 6200 and jumped on the band wagon :lol: . actually, since you got me down to 450, i might as well spend a little extra on a video card. thanks a ton for the help :D ! EDIT 2: actually i have one more question :D . what do i need to buy to attach my cpu to my motherboard, and my heatsink to my cpu, or will it come with all that stuff? EDIT 3: one more question :o what about this video card, its only $99 after rebates. (i dont mind rebates) EDIT 4: i ended up buying the motherboard you suggested, the processor and the video card from edit #3, along with 2 gigs of ram (2x 1gig). $635 after shipping. ahh, $690 just for oblivion :P

even if i had a xbox 360 i wouldnt buy oblivion for it. the modding capabilities are one of the best parts of the game. they can literaly add endless amounts of quests for you to do. and i like playing around in the construction set.

I need to upgrade my computer. I am trying to do it in the most efficient manner possible for my money. I decided i would just upgrade my motherboard and processor, and buy a new video card. This is the video card I plan on buying. It is PCI Express x16, so my motherboard will need to support that. This is the processor that I am going to buy. Motherboard needs to have an "x2 prepared bios" according to the user comments, so that would be nice. And the final problem, which screwed up the chances of the one motherboard on newegg that would work, is that the motherboard has to be MicroATX form factor. Im looking for a motherboard that fits all those specifications, and preferably has 4 RAM slots. If anyone knows of such a motherboard, that would be nice. Or if you know a place where I could get the cpu already attached to the motherboard, for a comparable price, that would be even better. I want a dual core 64 bit HT enabled processor (such as the one I linked to) that is as good or around the one I linked to. Thanks for the help :D . EDIT: forgot to add, if you think i should do something completely different, thats cool too. id like to keep the price of everything under 500, but if thats not possible, then it isnt.

i havent even been able to play. :cry: been looking all day on the most cost effective way of upgrading my pc, but i cant find anything i like for the prices they give. i have the box sitting in front of my computer and im looking at the pictures, that has been keeping me enertained while i search.

anarchy doesnt mean chaos and disorder, as you may have been led to believe. anarchy literaly means "no ruler". it usually leads to chaos and disorder, so "no rules, no order and chaos will lead to anarchy" statement is backwards. no rules is anarchy, there is a possibilty it will lead to chaos, and a possibility that everyone would be ok with it. the possibility of it leading to chaos is much, much more likely.

well i have oblivion now, so im going to make this quick. our computers suck at running this game, read the oblivion topic for more info. but anyways, when you have your video card plugged in, which one do you plug your monitor into? have you tried both of them? i plugged my video card in, and still had the monitor through the onboard video. then i changed the settings, and then plugged my monitor into my new video card. i dont really know anything about it, i have to be able to work directly on stuff to figure it out :lol:

im in indiana, but in the cincinnatti limits. harrison, OH is about 8 minutes away :D . no copies of it there, none of the stores sell computer games. had to go up to northgate to get it. but thats right, I HAVE IT!!!! installed it, watched the intro movie which jumped every three seconds because my computer sucks. tried to make my charachter, my mouse would jump an inch at a time unless i went really, really slow. took me about half an hour to make my charachter, not because of the wonderfully awesome creationg system (i ended up taking almost the default) but because moving my mouse between options and i had to click on them about 80 times before it registered. this is playing in 640x480 resolution with no options. i just took a stick of 256meg ram out of my family computer and popped it in, so now i have 760. hopefully this is good enough to run it a bit better. after charachter creation i played around for about a minute, i punched a pitcher off of a table and looted my cell, which just had bones and a cup :lol: . i like to take everything :wink: . anyways, going to go back at it, if it doesnt do good this time ill have to buy a new computer. EDIT: this is the video card im going to get, now i just need to figure out if i have to buy a new computer or if i can just upgrade my motherboard. be nice to find a motherboard/cpu combo (going to have to get combo, no idea how to put one on there) for around $300 that is decent. anyone know of some good sites to look at?

i actually find these movies mildy amusing. looking forward to it? not really, just nothing else to really look forward to. i wont go see it in the theatres or anything. these are movies you watch once or twice, with friends and you dont have to pay really close attention.

i had onboard graphics too, i didnt have to disable it. i just had to choose the right graphics card. plug your monitor into your regular onboard video card plug. right click on the desktop, go over to settings and activate your second monitor, even if you dont have a second monitor, and then deactivate your first. unplug the monitor, plug it into your new video card. i think i did something like that :P . i also remember a small problem with a warning that pops up asking if you want to keep those settings, and at that point i could never see it. i think i hit "enter" somewhere alond there.

snow storm here last night, theres about 5 inches out there. my dad had trouble getting to work, had to 4 wheel drive it there some of the ways. im about ready to head out, going to see what my chevy cavalier can do in the snow 8) .

well i believe a capitalist (to use the socio-economic use of the word) country is perfectly reasonable, most people you will find on the internet like government control of the economy. there are many socialists on here, but mostly a capitalist/socialist 50%/50% economy with free social rights. having said that, the world works ok right now. keeps everyone content, not many really happy, but not many really mad. evenetually i think more and more countries will become capitalist welfare states, something like sweden. if the united states gets hillary clinton voted in for 2008, she is probably going to push for universal health care. china is everyday moving from being less socialist, they just freed their currency to be allowed to value itself by the market not to long ago. problem is they arent moving from being authoritarian thought, so that may cause problems.

if by book you mean comic book, then yes it is based on a book. the opening part was almost exactly like the first pages of the comic (all i read, hard to read on computer). just think like sin city.
