i have no idea what ska is, ive heard the word before but thats about it. hardcore all i think is techno punk i think the movie SLC Punk goth/emo wearing black clothes and calling yourself a nonconformist. whats the difference between all of them? they all want to be part of group, but they dont want to be considered "normal". sounds like they all are going for the same thing to me.

heh, ska, hardcore, punk, goth, emo, its fun to see all these different kinds of groups people are in. i have no idea whats different about some of them, but whatever floats there boat is fine with me. anyways, i listened to the masters of hard core volume 17 a lot, in fact its still in my car. i dont know why, i just like it a lot :P . i dont consider myself hardcore though, i dont know exactly what you have to do to be in that clique.

i have definently slowed down in the movie watching buisness, just so busy lately. only got to watch two movies since the last time, both i have seen before, but both are good. Lollilove - this may have actually been the last movie i seen before i watched these two movies. anyways, friend wanted to watch it, so i popped it in. just as funny the second time, almost all comedies seem to lose a bit the second time, this one really didnt though. i liked that about it, but my friend almost died laughing from it, so i sold it to him :P Oldboy - first time i watched it i absolutely loved this movie. in fact, i always told everyone it was third on my list. i just watched it for the second time last night, and was kind of worried that it wouldnt live up to that height again. i knew the twists of the story already, knew what it was about. when i watched it again i found out something else though, this movie was done magnificently. the first time i was mostly focused on the subtitles, this time i got to pay more attention to the movie. definently still good enough to be my third favorite movie.

im all for completely open immigration. the problems with immigration are them using up free health care and getting all these benefits from the government which is paid for by the legal citizens. i dont beleive in any of that stuff for legal citizens either. a person is a person, wether or not they are from another country doesnt make a difference.

that sounds like my past week :P . having more problems with a computer than i ever had before. yesterday, 3 different lights in my room all broke their bulbs. i have two fishtanks, one had the bulb break, one had the heater break. now the temperature goes up and down with room temp, not good for fish at all. just packaged up my video card to send back to get a new one, so i still wont be able to play oblivion for another week. i broke my printer (first thing that was my fault), and had to buy a new one. my muffler fell off my car, so i had to get that replace. i just watched a movie last night called oldboy. in this movie there is a picture. what matters is the caption: "laugh and the world laughs with you. weep and you weep alone." :P just think about how much worse things really could be, and laugh about how big of a deal you made out of everything. it worked great for me, im happy as a clam right now :D

yeah, i live in indiana too. so technically we never had to change clocks. my dad works in cincy though, so we and many people around here already did use daylight savings. we have something called "fast time" and "slow time". my family is on fast time, when i went to school they were on slow time. personally, i dont bother with times all that much, i just ask someone else what im supposed to do :lol:

well, i have another problem. i am going to take it to the computer store after work, but i thought i might as well ask here. i have an EVGA GeForce 6800 pci express graphics card, and an ASUS A8N-VM series motherboard. my motherboard wont recognize my video card at all, it doesnt even show up as an unknown device in the device manager. its just not there at all. i threw in my old pci card for a moment to see what that did, and it worked fine. is something wrong with my motherboard, the pci express slot specifically? or is it a problem with my video card? i installed all the drivers i could for the motherboard, the video card drivers wouldnt install because it couldnt find the hardware.

now i just need villanova to go all the way, and i go from having the least points in the first round to winning :P

i think the copyrights on them run out after a certain amount of years, if the company doesnt renew it. the NES is no longer copyrighted as of late last year, so a few companies have made some new NES consoles. dont know if it works the same way with the games or not.

i would give him the darwin award, but my hard drive was wiped and i lost all of my pictures.

i own the first two. why? they are enertaining, and a good watch with people who dont know anything about movies. the cars on there are cool, and there is action. thats all most people really need. (thats all i used to need a year or two ago)

still havent been able to play yet. been working on my computer since 11:00 this morning. somehow my onboard graphics doesnt exist anymore, it doesnt even see my pci e card, so i tossed in one of my old pci cards just to see if my computer works. im on it now, so it is working partly. i still cant see my pcie video card or my onboard (which i disabled, not deleted, should be able to just reenable it). well, i installed oblivion, the install crashed at the end. doesnt work. im never upgrading my computer again, i am just going to buy a new one.

well, the heatsink will have to do for now. might upgrade later, but for now i just really, really want to play oblivion. i got everything ready, i just have to reinstall windows for some reason. there in lies a problem though, i have a lot of information on the hard drive that i would rather not lose. the hard drive is in the family computer right now (the one i am typing on), but it cant recognize it. the actual error: "the disk in drive f is not formatted. would you like to format it now?" if i dont fix it soon im just going to reinstall windows regardless of what i lose. i really, really have to play oblivion :D

i didnt buy one, the cpu came with one. heatsink/fan combo. leave in a half an hour to go get it put on, i could probably do it myself, but id rather be safe than sorry :D . somebody who has done it a hundred times has less chance of screwing it up than somebody who has never done it before :D . yeah, 4 gigs is probably not worth it, but how many people do you know that have 4 gigs of ram :P

the m4 project just cracked another part of the enigma code, i think it was doing something similar to what you are talking about. using spare cpu power and such. would i be able to join one of these, but choose when i want my computer to process the info? i dont want anything else going on in the backround when playing games, even if it supposedly only uses the extra cpu power. during webbrowsing and pretty much anything else, my cpu power would be free game for it. EDIT: found this on one of the sites you listed, sounds like my sort of thing. The Internet Movie Project :D

from what i understand, combat is supposed to be greatly improved in this game. its also made to appeal to a wider audience, while still keeping the fans of the series very satisfied. but, having not been able to play it yet, i cant say for sure. its probably still going to be a massively open game, but a main quest for most people will be what they do and finish and then not play again. which is fine, means you can go through the game twice using two different charachters if you want, kind of like i did in neverwinter nights and kotor games.

i didnt see anything like that on it, but ill check again. anyways, i went down to a local computer store and asked the guy for some of that stuff and he gave me a small tube that was supposed to have 50 uses in it. he also said i could bring my computer in and he would show me how to do it (for free) so im going in there tommorow at 11:00. waited forever to get oblivion, waited painstakenly all week to get these parts, now i have them and have to wait 11 hours and 32 minutes before ill get everything set up. i dont know how i am supposed to sleep tonight, i was planning on pulling an all nighter and just sleeping 12 hours tommorow night. and im thinking about buying another 2 gigs of ram, get a total of 4 gigs. that would just be flippin awesome :D (and probably not worth the price, but man, 4 gigs!)

well, i saw it about a long time ago (6 months maybe?) so i dont know why its only coming out in april. i hated both final fantasy 7 and 8, and one of the earlier ones for snes. never got into them, didnt really care for anyof the style. having said that, i liked the movie a lot. didnt really know exactly what was going on, but i did recognize a lot from the game. cool movie to see for the sole fact it is all animated and looks great.

YES!!! i got everything today. the problem is, i dont have anything to connect my cpu to my heatsink. would i be able to go to like, radioshack to get this "thermal stuff"?

um, chef did NOT say he was quiting southpark. that was a rumor spread by the scientologists while isaac hayes was in the hostpital suffering from a stroke. after the scientology episode (before his stroke) he was commenting to people how good southpark is to him, since he lost the rights to a lot of his royalties from his old songs sometime ago. he might be retiring because of his health, but he hasnt made an official statement yet. i think he is still in the hospital.

i also thought i saw today that the final name for the revolution will actually be "Nintendo Go". seems kind of odd to me, but you never know.

well, my current video card is a geforce fx 5500, the best pci card i could find. with all the video setting turned down to nothing (view distance down to the bottom, doesnt render until you get within 10 feet of something) running at 640x480 i was barely getting maybe 15 fps. thats why i spent $635 to upgrade my computer :P
