  1. Kings - Only the second time watching it, first time was at it was airing. It is awesome, extremely awesome, no other way to explain it. The only thing that could have made it better was lose the religious aspect, they could have easily done without that.
  2. Pretty awesome movie. Although I felt it could have been made much, much better. But I still enjoyed it. I pretty much agree with that too, an awesome movie that I would recommend anyone to see, but not a movie that I plan on watching a second time anytime soon.

I heard that, but I still might try it anyway. A lot of people find something to be bad when it is just not as good as the first which was epic, which makes sense, but I never really see it that way. If it is halfway fun to play then I will still enjoy it.

The first one was epic, I loved it. Still haven't played the second yet, but bought the pack from the Steam sale a week or two ago when it was cheap, so I will do that before playing the third. Here is a pretty awesome live action video for it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uGzpzlvf0Gs
  5. Regardless of brand most monitors are made by one or two different companies. Also, like with every other electronic, model is much more important than brand. Saying "Dells are good, HP are bad" or vice versa is stupid, because it is just not true. Every brand has their good products and bad products.
  6. The same one I replied with the last time someone posted a pic of her, but it's too good not to do it again: From Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, an awesome movie.
  7. That's not a model it's Amber Heard, she has been in a few movies.
  8. Your choice, but I would still suggest it, you don't need to put much else on it other than your OS and your web browser, that's why a 40gb one is generally fine.
  9. Yeah I didn't know how to do much of anything with linux, gladly I do know how to use google so it turned out okay. Now I have Linux Mint on my laptop (very new linux user friendly) and mythbuntu as my media/file server.
  10. If you already have a 1tb to store stuff on, then I would get an SSD instead of a HDD. They are seriously the best performance boost for the money. Everything is just faster with it, boot times will be 30 seconds or less compared to over a minute with a HDD, the entire windows interface will seem snappier, even just browsing around on the internet seems snappier (because of quick seek times for the temp inet files). I will never build another computer without one. I haven't looked at them in the past few months and the tech is changing quick so I don't know which one to suggest, but you will be fine with around a 64gb one. I am doing fine with my 40gb, though most people say that is too small. Keep in mind you need to keep 30% of the space free for best performance.
  11. Heh, that's what I was thinking. I went to a part last night, drank and watched the local country club's fireworks. They weren't quite as good as I expected, possibly because of being pretty far away. So I am going to go to another fireworks show tonight. Fourth of July is my favourite holiday of the year!
  12. I love that movie, a lot. But yeah, I wouldn't really show little kids it. My nephew is almost 8 and he is getting close to watching all the weirder kids movies that I love (Pan's Labyrinth, Dark Crystal, Labyrinth, ect...) but I still think he is a little young.
  13. Windows 7 has higher minimum requirements. Personally I haven't seen any difference in speed or any difference in the way it "hogs" the system. For some reason even though technically 7 does have higher minimum requirements I think it runs smoother than Vista on the same hardware. But personally if your computer is having trouble running Vista I would see if you can find XP somewhere, and if not that then start looking into Linux distros.
  14. But it is directed by Tarsem Singh who also directed The Fall, which is a beautifully directed movie. That's why I will give it a chance, even though it is only going to be in 3D...
  15. I watch a [bleep] ton of TV, so I am not going to put any series that is ended, otherwise this list would be many times as long. Currently airing: Children's Hospital Futurama Jeopardy Louie True Blood Weeds On Break: 30 Rock Amazing Race American Dad The Big Bang Theory Bob's Burgers Castle Chuck Cleveland Show The Community Curb Your Enthusiasm Damages Dexter Eureka Family Guy Fringe Game of Thrones Glee How I Met Your Mother The IT Crowd It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia League, The Mad Men Merlin Modern Family The Office Parks and Recreation Psych Red Dwarf Robot Chicken Sanctuary South Park Spartacus Supernatural Walking Dead Warehouse 13
  16. There are speed issues with external drives (most at least), I wouldn't want to install a game on it. But you will be able to fine with Skyrim if you wanted, if it's like every other game the past 20 years. Daemon Tools is nice, but you have to have the ISO of the Skyrim DVD on your computer too. Copying it to your computer is illegal (some will argue this, but it is illegal according to DMCA rules, whether or not it should be is another matter). Since you are doing something illegal anyways I would just go for a NOCD crack, much smaller (10s of megabytes at most) and easier. I use NOCD cracks all the time on my legally purchased games, even though it is technically illegal, because it is ridiculous to have to have a disc in the tray that is only read once when you start up the game.
  17. It's not that bad to leave the computer on all the time, my myth box (I'm assuming you are using myth to record...) just stays on all the time. Throw it on there (mythbuntu if you want some more options) and let it go. Never needs to shut off, even to do updates.
  18. I was glad when I saw that the other day, hopefully there are no other store specific ones.
  19. That's just the map of Tamriel in slow scroll video form, picture works much better for maps:
  20. Youtube is probably pretty much it. Other than that you'll have to got to the source; the DVDs or BDs.
  21. Yep. Sadly that affected me more than it should have. I would post a review of every single movie/TV show I watched in the "last movie you watched thread", so that had me making a lot of posts consistently for years. After we lost all that data I just didn't feel like it was worth keeping up, so I stopped. That just lead to me not really posting much at all anymore.
  22. Now watch "Commentary: The Musical!" It's on the DVD, and the DVD is cheap. Definitely worth the listen. Also the real commentary is good.
  23. I remember debating politics and economics a lot back then, as well as still playing Runescape. Later than that I remember playing ShadowFax's movie screen shot games, which were always pretty fun (I actually won once, but that's only because I spent a lot of time on here during those days so I got the answers first more easily  ).
  24. Depends entirely on what kind of hardware you already have.

Are you from the future? Neither game is out yet, you can't claim they are "good games".
