  1. Um, wrong! As far as I remember free players can't even send game related queries. So then how can we be sending the majority of these? Not that I'm complaining about this update, I'm glad they extended it to f2p, but really, that right there makes it sound like f2pers are taking up so much of the Customer Releations team's time, when really we don't.
  2. How about this. You make a potion with the typical dose (3 if I remember). Then, what you can do is use it with another vial, but set it so that you only fill one dose at a time. That way, you can use your (3) potion with two vials to make three (1) vials. It the typical dose is 4, then you can use three more vials to get four (1) potions.
  3. Thanks so much dude! This definately works, I just got an Evil Bob event from this!
  4. Of course it doesnt make you a "noob". I personally think its one of the best looking weapons in the f2p game, with a very distinctive look. However, I should warn you, that sword is untradable, meaning you can't help your son with the quest. Best you can do is protect him while he mines the ores and provide him with the iron bars and redberry pie, and help him distract the Knight (Sir Vyvin?) so he can get the picture.
  5. go to any of the Postbag articles, and at the bottom is an email address, to which you send letters. I think both f2p and p2p can send letters in!
  6. Dragonite? Staffs and platebodies with Pokemon on it? Simply put, having a bow made of dragon metal doesnt make sense, as bows are made from wood/crystal in RS. Also, I view the Crystal bow as the "Dragon" version of a bow. If anything, I can see dragon arrows or throwing knives, but only if sold at a shop after doing a quest, and only at a price of like 1.5K-2K per arrow or knife.
  7. People have known of the difference for a long time, and it does make sense, as people pointed out. Also, I haven't confirmed this, but apparently if you range on rapid you loose more arrows than with accurate. But then, maybe whenever I was ranging I had bad luck. Or perhaps the increased speed made it seem like I was loosing more, while in reality I was loosing the same percentage of arrows, just faster.
  8. Well, after seeing how the Ying-Yang Ammulets were added in game after a letter to the Character that owns it, I decided to try this out with Thrugo asking him why he wont make me another sword event with all the materials, etc. Maybe if a bunch of us jotted a quick letter to that Posty Pete thing, it may be addressed and changed. Also, I do agree that it is unfair that those that did the qeust in RSC do not have the ability to get another one. But unless they change it, the Castlewars swords are your only option (even though they do not look as nice).
  9. Thing is, people prefer foods that heal hp all at one rather than a bit at a time. A pizza is eatten in what, two bites? Thats 9 hp per bite. I personally think thats pretty nice, but people still prefer the 14 hp at once for a Sword. Plus, swords and lobs are much easier to get and cook, and thus more people sell them, thus there is an established price.
  10. Hmm, i'm not sure but I heard that there's a place where you can stand on Entrana and telegrab items a friend may drop for you on the mainland. Now, first, is this true? And second, is it a legal thing to do? If so, you can get a GREAT advantage by telegrabbing armor, and axe, etc.
  11. go to edgville bank. Usually you run into people who forgot to bring food, or are rushing out of wildy and need food. Also, in f2p at least, i have noticed that East varrock bank, and the church to the north, are areas PKers group together in before heading out. Try selling in those areas.
  12. Well, right now, my mage is 60, my range is 42, my attack is 52, and my strenght and defense are 50 apiece. I was wondering, where would a good place to train range and melee be? For melee, I have gotten two suggestions: Pirates near Thurgo and Red Spiders in karamja volcano. I personally do no care for drops, as I am full of food anyways, and the Red Spiders do attack automatically, making training that much easier. However, is it faster exp per hour? Also, where should I train range? i used to train on dwarves north of falador, but Jagex removed the fences to use for safespots with the Falador Graphic Update. Do you have anyother suggestions? I will most likely be using bronze arrows, with some irons thanks to a friend. I want to get range up to 70 if possible (so that I can get a Crystal Bow when I get members, along with full black dhides :))
  13. Just one item? Blurite Sword. The other items I want are all buyable, but I never made a 2nd copy and always wanted one back :(
  14. This was by far the worst update I have ever seen. So many people who played legit have lost their wealth (the worst case I have seen being Lim's). How could they not have seen this problem? Why is it that a bunch of people on forums can think up better solutions while some of the brightest programmers in Britain cannot? Of course, being the suspicious person I am, I agree with Duke in that I feel this is a way to get more money via autoer's joining members.
  15. Well, if f2p could use pure ess, but not get it themselves (sort of like maples), then this update would have turned out much better. They could have converted all existing ess to pure ess, thus retaining the value of ess already stockpiled by good players (for instance, Lim's major loss), but also prevent more from being extracted by macroers.
  16. I can bust your myth about the wildy. You simply get unmorphed when attacked, you are not invulnerable.
  17. THanks man! I went to check it out...some pretty sweet stuff. I had seen it on google video, but its still nice to see it through the game itself. But yea, KC's thread is great, very good stuff there. I can't wait til they move futher on this story.
  18. Deepest desire, but really shouldnt be done: 1. Castle Wars 2. A single weapon with a special attack 3. Climbing boots 4. Crystal Bow 5. Claws. Stuff they can give us thats not too radical: 1. The last four bankspaces 2. Colored Boots 3. Wilderness Capes 4. Add a "general shop" like feature to bar maids and the apothecary dude. 5. A hood like the ones the dark wizards wear with stats comparable to blue wizard hat (just so I can wear full Dark Wizard), or at the very least changing black robes to match the black wiz hat, and making the stats on the black hat equal to the blue hat.
  19. wait, I tried to see the recording, and the guard told me I had to be on a members server...
  20. The level for equilizer seems WAY too low. Anyone with about 200K (less if using curse) can get 59 magic in a week. I say raising the level much higher, like in the upper 80's to ninties. Especially with a pure. A level 31 with 10 hp can get level 59 magic. Imagine him using equilizer from a distance on a warrior who has much more hp, then using a single blast spell. Way too cheap.
  21. Well, like you said, its the most helpful random. I find the ability to bank my loot (which is usually gems, limps, runes, and gp that I pick up) is quite helpful. And the event itself isnt that hard.
  22. yea, I too checked this morning, and I have to say, I was a tad bit dissapointed thought. But then, it is a weekend, so I'm guessing they will wait till Monday if they do want to release a new toy. I sure hope they do though, I love those! So much fun.
  23. It was added when they revamped the Romeo and Juliet Quest. When you go to Father Lawrence, he tells you he is busy giving a sermon, then the camera points to the sleeping churchgoers. If I remember correctly, he talks to you only because he can now take a break, or something like that. Still, the two are pretty pointless.
  24. That would make sense. I remember that a player got a Leo and wasn't teleported back when I got him. I didnt see the other player, but I assumed that he either logged off or you couldnt see other players in the graveyard. However, you could be right in that each player get teleported to a separate graveyard. Interesting idea. Maybe, we should see if the area around the graveyards are different each time.
  25. Any bones will do, you just have to be burying it and getting prayer experience to get the event.
