Fletching and F2Pers
F2p mages may be able to runecraft, but they they get 3 classes of attack spells (strike, bolt, and blast), whereas the ranger get 5 classes of arrows (bronze, iron, steel, mith, addy). also, if you were to incorporate fletching at any level into f2p, it should be restricted to bronze arrows only. Why? because f2p mages can only craft the lowest level of attack runes, minds. Also, rangers should not be able to fletch bows, since a) its pointless maple costs like 400 gp only and is usually in stock, and B) mages can't make staves. So to all people suggesting giving addy arrows, and willow longs and what not, simply put, that would be too much of an update.

FireMaking?
different ores have different characteristics; some are dense, some are brittle, thus you have to learn to strike the source in the proper manner to extract the ore without harming it too much. However, how is it that different woods require different amount of spark? I figure that if x spark is right for a oak log, it should be the same for a yew log...why would it be harder or easier to burn? And if level determined only the time your fired lasted, I would understand why having a higher level is beneficial. But allowing a certain type of wood to be lit only after a certain level doesn't make sense to me...i should be able to go outside right now and light an oak log just as easily as a maple log.

Macroers Defeated?
alas, i fear this is but a temporary ceasefire against the macroing forces...perhaps they have retreated temporarily to their programming consoles, defeated perhaps in this battle, but preparing for future ones in a war I fear shall never be over, so long as Runescape is online...

FireMaking?
Logically, it doesn't make sense to me why you have to level to burn different types of logs...In smithing, you have to "learn" the differences of each metal, in cooking you have to learn the proper method of cooking each food, in Combat, you get stronger as you fight, in magic, your powers increase in strength as you train it, in range, you become more accurate and adept at the various flexibilities of each wood bow, in Runecraft you learn to harness more magical powers into esses (which would also explain multiple runes per ess), and in mining you learn new methods of extracting different ores. But honestly, how is lighting an oak log on fire different from a yew log or a willow log?

Ethnic Cultures
It was started by Christians to overshadow various pagan events that happened around the same time, as well as to celebrate the harvest. Nice try, though. same thing with Christmas. The papacy decided to designate the 25th as the birth of Christ so that a winter celebration could be enacted to counter the Winter Solstice of the Pagans, for they feared Christians would leave and join the pagans due to a lack of fesitivites in the winter season. And Bubsa, its not like that just in the UK, until this Christmas, the government wasnt allowed to call the National Christmas tree a Christmas tree; rather, they called it a Holiday Tree. Also, schools are not allowed to have Christmas decorations in my area, only "holiday" decorations. I personally, as a Hindu, do not feel bad that the festival of lights (called Diwali for those who care) is not celebrated in Runescape; heck, before that I would have to be offended that people kill cows left and right, and there is an emphasis on the consumption of meats to heal over vegetables. I am not offended by any of this simply becaue I play Runescape to get away from my everyday life. I do not come to be politically correct and recognize ever major religion, I play to have fun. Also, thhe point of having a separate religion in runescape was to help create a interesting "history" and storyline for NPC's and quests. Add in too many religious connotations, and as a previous poster said, you diminish the purpose of this separate history.

trimmed armor- should there be more types of trimmed armor?
here's a thought: I know that in some civilizations, when decorative armor was made, many artisans created unique personal designs to show their work. I was thinking the same could be applied to "trimmed" armor; create 3-4 new "legendary" crafters in a quest, and from it create treasure trails armor with their designs on it. It would add a little more artistic culture into the game of runescape, especially if the quest showed depictions how how the art of runescape evolved as time passed. Also, another Idea is to create armor based on the royal families of Runescape, with their insignia on the breastplate, and the family color as the trim. In addition, perhaps trimmed items could be extended to decorative swords of comparable power to the three trimmed armor metals; black, adamant, and rune. They would be of a different shape than the Decorative swords and Bluerite swords, and thus allow for a distinction amongs castle wars rewards and treasure trails rewards.

Wat do u think is the best/worst skills are in Runescape
Favorite skill: Magic Crafting and Runecrafting. Best Money making: in f2p, definately mining (wood cutting is too slow, i can make tons more with mining iron ores and silver ores). Boring: mining. May make good money, but its booring. Pointless: Firemaking (just like everyone else pretty much said.

as for trimmed steel, i guess it technically DOES exist, just go south of lumbridge to the caravan near the swamps (the monk, ranger, mage, and warrior). the Warrio wears what appears to be trimmed steel. As for mith, it would look a little...ugly.

Fletching and F2Pers
before the ranger update for f2p, they could only use bolts, bronze to steel arrows, and up to oak longbows. After the update we got mithril and adamant arrows, willow bows, and maple bows.

is 85 mining really worth it?
it probably takes forever to mine rune rocks at just 85 (just like most ores). Also, rune rocks respawn very slow, and there is mad compeition. Plus, there are pkers out in deep wildy where the f2p rune rock is. Still, its 10K+ an ore, so I suppose it CAN payoff, just be prepared to lose a good number of ores while in the wild (unless you are a very high combat, or like level 3 with not level 48 or below players).

Sordies/Sharks only fishing spots
first, you only get lobbies with a lob pot, never tuna. Also, tuna is what makes harpooning a "challenge", which is why sharks cost so much in the first place. It would bring down prices quite a bit, and also make it TOO easy to catch swords and sharks.

you know you are addicted to rs when...
You kill someone in the woods. When the police arrive you respond "you noobs he was in wildy".

Favorite beast/place to train.
if you wanna train on hobgoblins, just train near mezlars maze or in the ice cave to avoid the pkin threat. I personally train mage in karajama on lessers using safespots. Less crowded than wizard tower. For range, hill giants were decent. I got up to 40 here. For melee, I go to Alkharid and attack the warriors so they all attack me, used to do karajama level 22 skele's (before jagex ruined em), do Hill giants and mossies, and ofcourse lessers and red spiders at karajama.

Phat prices
Well, from what i gather (and observed in my 1 year of play), more money keeps coming into the market than going out. People keep finding ways to make money, but very little is taken out of the economy. This, i gathers, is mostly from high alching, especially of magic longbows. What rares do is provide a sort of sink for that money. People invest their insane amounts in a discontinued item. It aslo supposedly stops merchants from hoarding up other items like ores and runes and charging higher prices for those.

Runescape Reformation
I think PKing should be banned only in certain areas (Wizard tower, towns, cities, and maybe outskirts of a city. However, PKing in cities would make it hard to accomplish anything. For instance, I walk to smelt bars, but wait! Boom i get attacked, bye bye ores/bars.

New weapon: Quest Master
The mage bonus seems rather high to me, considering that the highest current staff bonus is +15... oh yea lol i was looking at the bonus for FULL ahrims, not the staff, when i wrote that. I'd prolly make it +15-+20ish.

Monk's Hood [with pictures!]
Hey, walk down by Port karim ( i think thats what its called), near the docks. There are three ships here, the once to karajama, the one to Crandor, and a third one. The third leads to Entrana. Look at the monks there...one of them is wearing a hood!

Phat prices
yea i was planning to mine a whole lot of silver (i can make a mil per week this way with my plan) for a purple phat, and then i was like, "What am I doing? this is supposed to be FUN...and yet its a chore to get it?". So i've given up on phats. I'll spend all my money on runes and stuff for fun (and a green mask simply cus it looks awesome).

F2P WORLDS NEED MORE UPDATES IN SKILLS (plz post)
we also get to SMITH our best armor (rune), craft up to power ammies (level 70 craft), use up to addy arrows, maple bows(which was an update to the previous oak and steel maximum), and green draghide, f2p gets to high alch (though only one thing is worth it on f2p, but its useful nonetheless), we are able to mine all the basic ores, we can cut up pretty much all regular trees except for maples and magic, we have all the teleport spells we could use anyways (lum, fally, and varrock), we can use all the protect prayers...thats really generous in my opinion. Im f2p, with no plans to get members, so Im also glad they let me freakin play on f2p as long as I want.

Suggestion: Bank on Karamja
well, just like the customs officers, the bank could refuse to let you deposit Rum at that particular bank. or, make the use of the bank a reward for the Pirate's Treasure Quest. But I doubt Jagex would do that, as they want to lure people into members (and I don't blame them, they are out to make money)

How about a PIN for your WHOLE account?
keylogs, from my understanding, involves tracking which keys are pressed. But, if you entered a pin by clicking, they register clicks. They can get coordinates, but the randomization of numbers makes it hard to predict the number of each click.

How about a PIN for your WHOLE account?
what i think he means is that you have two layers to enter an account or do anything (change password, whatever); first a password, and then the PIN. So if a keylogger did get a pass, he still gets stuck at the PIN phase.
