Is the quest Lost City a challenge anymore?
Could you explain how they tightened up on that? I guess it could be that you can no longer bring logs and dragonhides to Eterna, but that wouldn't make sense since they don't count as armor or weapons. But then again Zamorak robes aren't either but these stubborn monks don't allow these for some reason. Might have to do with their blind hatred towards Zamorak.

Recovering REALLY Old Posts?
I'm sorry I can't help you there. Remember Imageshack? It used to be a great site to host images. But the people behind that site became greedy and forced people to have limited amount of images, so sadly it's not a site to upload images anymore. I think the fact that Imageshack removed a lot of images is part of the reason many old images are long gone.

Is the quest Lost City a challenge anymore?
It might be a minor part but it's still something. The zombie and greater demons serve no purpose there anymore since nobody bothers killing zombies unless they don't care about awful drops, and there are countless better places to fight greater demons.

Is the quest Lost City a challenge anymore?
Before the toolbelt was invented, you had to kill a zombie or a greater demon in Eterna dungeon to get a steel/bronze hatchet. Otherwise you couldn't finish the quest. But nowadays you can slice a tree with a dragon hatchet directly from your toolbelt, and yes even of Eterna, trust me I tried. So that leads me to believe that the part of that quest where you needed to kill a zombie or a greater demon is no longer there. So has that part of the quest been removed challenge-wise? I really am wondering about that.

In advanced search there is an option in choosing the first day and the final day on where you can start searching from. In fact the option is in the middle of the advanced search page, you're welcome. Just click the calendar icon and you'll find it.

A question about spring cleaner.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't it possible to buy treasure keys with runecoins? No, the only use for RuneCoins is to buy cosmetic stuff in Solomon's shop. I could have sworn it was available in Solomon's shop, must have mistaken it for something else. Can't put my finger on what I could have mistaken it for though.

Can you perhaps lead me to the RS wiki page that gives that information? Because I can't find it.

Stupid dragon pets
True, but there could be some instances when someone gets into a building they don't have the requirements for yet because they're standing on that spot. What does Jagex do about these people? I promise this is the final question about this, and after that I will leave this thread be unless I have something more relevant to this to say since I don't want it to get off track too much.

But how do they accomplish that with all these players playing every day? In many cases, areas get changed. How do they make sure players aren't stuck at a dead end spot when they add these new areas? I have limited knowledge on how this works, that's why I'm asking.

A question about spring cleaner.
I wish that could work, but I'm not sure how.

Stupid dragon pets
I do get your point, and I wasn't defending Jagex's actions. I was just saying that it's nearly impossible to fix all the problems since this is a huge game, especially the major ones. They don't even have enough time for maintenance since people play the game literally every day. They sometimes do for a few minutes, but they can't do it for hours since that would make many of the players (especially the paying ones) leave, and they don't want that.

A question about spring cleaner.
First of all, I don't trust surveys, they are almost always scam. Secondly, bonds are at a ridiculously high price, eight million? Yeah, I'd rather buy something more useful for that money. I know bonds could give me treasure keys, but I doubt they would be enough to justify the price of eight million. In fact I think the prices in total I'd get from these would be worth much much less.

A question about spring cleaner.
I did go to the treasure hunter chest wiki page, and I have come to the conclusion that outside the daily ones, the way I get these keys is totally random. Ah well, I hope I'll get spring cleaner eventually. I somehow doubt it though.

Stupid dragon pets
I do see what you mean. But you gotta understand how hard it is to make all these changes. It's even more hard than modifying a single player game because they have to make sure there are no major glitches. Yeah, this shouldn't have bypassed their radar, and I hope they will fix this within a week. I'm still waiting for them to make pickpocket the first option with knights of ardougne, but sadly I doubt it's gonna happen.

A question about spring cleaner.
So many people have recommended a "spring cleaner", and I'd gladly get it. But the problem is it's untradable. To my knowledge the only way to get it is through treasure hunter. But I would need to pay a lot of real life money to get a bunch of keys, that's the problem. I'm not a trillionaire, if I spent too much money on RuneScape, I would become bankrupt in no time. So how do I get that spring cleaner? I want it, but I don't know how to get it without spending too much real life money, which I won't, since being bankrupt is something I wanna avoid.

Stupid dragon pets
Well, when it comes to knights, pickpocket should by all means be the first option. Nobody wants to fight them since the only thing they drop are useless bones. But yeah something like someone else's pet shouldn't be the first option. I mean it's useless all you get really is a message saying "this is not your pet.". Don't worry, I'm sure they will fix this eventually. Everything in the game has improved for the better, remember back when you needed to click your raw food and then the range? Well, you can just click the range immediately and you're done. Also remember when you only could smith 10 or so things at a time with anvil? Well there is now option on smithing with all your bars. This is a game that does get better with time. Some might say that EoC wasn't exactly improvement, but I'm used to it. It took me some time, but I have no issue with it anymore.

How do I make good suggestions/rants?
Alright, let me ask you something. How was I gonna acknowledge that these suggestions I made 10 years ago were bad if I didn't criticize them? I pretty much needed to do that otherwise I'd probably be ashamed of them years down the road. Now that they're off my mind, I don't have to think about them anymore and I won't. And yes, I am totally aware that I can make good suggestions if I put effort into it. But the thing about it is, I honestly don't wanna make new content for RuneScape anymore. I'd rather leave it to the professionals who know what they're talking about. Because honestly, the only way to make good ones is to no longer have fun with the game, and force myself to do all bunch of things I know I won't have fun with. There really is no point in that. And no I'm not ignoring any of the good advise I got, not at all. But really it all boils down to that I need to do a bunch of things I won't have fun with before I can even make a good suggestion. You know what? I'm just gonna mark this thread as "answered", and hopefully we can all just let this thread die out. There is no point in this anymore. I know I have already wasted the time of a lot of you, and I do apologize for that, but I promise this discussion is over now. If I get another reply I won't answer. (unless I have something to say which I probably won't because I have no reason to defend myself further.) I'm done.

How do I make good suggestions/rants?
I don't have to obtain one either. Look, I don't play the game RS for skill achievements or anything like that. That's not my idea of fun. I might need a quest cape if I were to make more suggestions/rants, but I won't, I'm totally done with that. I don't want a quest cape, simple as that. Why is it so hard to accept?

[27-04-15] EoC/Legacy Mash Up
I would love to get it, I really would, but it's untradeable. How do you expect me to get something untradable? I only get chance of two and a few others treasure chests a day. Unless I used real life money, which I won't be doing since I don't have trillions of dollars in real life.

How do I make good suggestions/rants?
Getting the quest-cape too quickly is never a problem imho - if you find yourself otherwise bored of the game (from the grind - and subsequently do not have a quest to do) there are many d&ds, tasks and completionist requirements you can work on instead of skilling Alternatively, you can make a new (ironman) account and do the whole process again :) I see what you mean, but no thanks. I don't want the quest cape at all. I already got the coolest cape in the game anyway. (thieving cape(t)) It is the coolest one in my opinion, shows I'm a wanted criminal, which makes people fear me. Furthermore I don't find any of these activities that fun. When taking break from my usual stuff I like to do something with a good story, which is what most quests do have.

How do I make good suggestions/rants?
I have been thinking about it and made up my mind. I won't be making any threads in rants/suggestions anymore. The reason for that is because I realized that in order to make a good thread in either forum it's not enough to do just some research, I need to do a lot. At the top of that I need to play many different aspects of the game, and all that is incredibly overwhelming. And it would also remove the fun out of the game for me, so it's best if I just don't do it at all. So yeah, and even though the threads I made this decade in the suggestions forum aren't anywhere near as bad as the ones made in 2005, they're still very bad. In the future if there is something I'm wondering about, I will just make a thread here in help & advice, and if I wanna discuss something I'll go to the Questionnaires forum. Sure, it requires research to make threads here as well, but at least there I'm asking others questions, so I'm not really saying something that's wrong.

No protect items zone in wildy
You are totally taking what I said out of context. I did read the first post in this thread, not at one point did I say I'm the one who started the thread I'm posting in right now. I said that I replied to the first post in this thread. And of course I read the first post of the thread and replied to it, the first post in a thread is the most important one after all. And again, you are dismissing my posts simply because of what I suggested 10 years ago. Get over it. Look it makes sense to dismiss my posts if these awful suggestions are recent, but they aren't even close. Look, if you have a problem with the posts I made in your thread, then by all means point them out. But so far you haven't, all you have done is ignore them because of suggestions I made 10 years ago. I'm nowhere near the same person I was back then, hell I don't even remember why I made these stupid suggestions in the first place, that shows how much I have changed.

No protect items zone in wildy
First of all, all of this you stated are things I suggested in 2005, or a decade ago. I'm sorry but it's stupid to dismiss my post because of something I suggested a long time ago. Secondly, I did read your post, I even replied to it above. And you are accusing me of not reading? The awful suggestions I made 10 years ago have zero relevance to how my mindset is today. Yes, I was a moron back then, but I have changed a lot. The reason I replied to these old threads was only so I can learn from these mistakes. If you actually read my posts instead of dismissing them because of something I made 10 years ago, you would understand what I'm talking about.
