  1. A Million Little Fibers was the 5th episode in season 10. Quite a few people did not like it but I thought it was quite well done. Season 10 had several great episodes. My favourite from that season is probably 1007 Tsst.
  2. It reminds me of the format used in Woodland Critter Christmas. The episode starts of tame then turns awesome. But I think WCC is better.
  3. With regards to 1105.... It is one of the best episodes ever. Would probably be in my top 10 favourite episodes.
  4. Best option would be to move out of town and into a more rural environment. After a few months the bodies would decompose all dehydrate or even more likely they would be eatien by the owners pets who would be scavenging for food.
  5. Pures intend to deceive so they are deceitful. Lures intend to deceive so they are also deceitful. Both are out to trick and fool other players. Neither one abuse any bugs or in game feature so although deceitful I do not consider them wrong with regards to the game because both operate within the game mechanics and in no way try to avoid controls or to abuse bugs.
  6. I disagree that all new players (and many experience players) who enter the wild know the risk. I can also justify it. New players when they go pking expect someone of a similar low level to be of a similar experience in the game to which they are. They do not automatically expect that a low level player is indeed a highly experience player on a new account equipped with the best combination of items and weapons. When they get massacred and loss or their items they did not know the true risk they were facing. Luring and scamming are different so do not try and combine them. Rules can be (and are) wrong, rules do change. Just because it is in the rules does not mean it is correct.
  7. Firstly just because Jagex says something in the rules it does not automatically make them morally right. Jagex has done many stupid things over the years. Jagex constantly attempts to please the masses and in doing so have severely changed and damaged the game which many players enjoy. Also there is no misquotes, you are just claiming that because you are incapable of defending your argument. Also stop claiming that I have lured players, I have never done it. So stop making stuff up to try and personally attack my integrity without any evidence (or truth) to back it up.
  8. Has a baby been born completely inside a lab, or do they need to be placed into a womb to complete incubation.
  9. Why not also ban the pking of players who were not accurately equipped, skilled and prepared to defend themselves in the wild? They might not know that their equipment and knowledge of the game was not good enough to defend themselves. They might be upset when they die. Wait... better ban all Pking because somone is going to lose and feel upset and have their items stolen by the evil player who was better at playing the game then they were.
  10. For the first few days I would probably explore my local area, trying to work out what was going on and trying to find other human life. After I get over the shock, I would probably spend a couple of weeks driving around the local farms and opening all of the gates. There would be millions of domesticated animals going to die of starvation but there is simply not much that I can do to save them. After I get bored of releasing animals I would try and find suitable accommodation. Preferably one with their own source of electricity in the form of Wind or Solar. For the first few years fuel for driving would not be a issue so I would probably travel widely gathering stuff and exploring all the time trying to find other survivors. I would get thoughts of trying to clone myself, or to grow a human from frozen reproductive genes but without a human wound it would be very difficult. Not to mention the ageing supply and uncertain supply of electricity. Although I might be determined the chance of success would be very low. Another problem I would face would be the increase 'wild' animals around. There would be packs of dogs which would grow ever more savage and wolf like. That would mean it would get increasingly more dangerous for me to be out walking by myself. I would try and stay in the safety of secure buildings and I would hopefully be able to get enough fuel to be able to drive around which would offer good protection. It would be interesting to experience mother nature slowly change and conquer the man made world. I do not know how long I would be able to last but hopefully I would be able to keep myself going by challenging myself to find other humans or find a way to create more human life. Would be easier if I was a female.
  11. I know whats better. When someone lure you into the wild expecting a easy kill. But the whole time you have been planning to get 'lured' with the sole aim of ambushing and killing the player who was trying to lure you in. So the 'victim' was really lureing the 'lure' into the wild. Which makes them both technically lurers.
  12. paulyts50 players like you seem incapable of separating reality from a game. Firstly if you are playing the role of a villain, murderer, or such character then it is fits perfectly in how such a character should behaved. I also disagree with the connection between Zamorak and Evil. Zamorak is a god of chaos (freedom) while Saradomin is a god of Order (control). Neither one is inherently good or evil it depends on how the player choices to interpret the evidence. If the stealing does not involve bug abuse, password fraud or the manipulation of in game control then it is fine. In lureing they agree to follow you into a place of danger, nothing forces them to follow but their free will and hope for a reward. Luring does not try to avoid any in game checks or controls for that reason it is not against the spirit of the game. City of villians is completely irrelevant because it is a different game. Pking and lure are basically identical, and can easily be combined into a single role. People are lured into the wild by the riches available there and players hunt them. So technically pking is no difference to luring, except that the pkers are generally prepared to defend themselves. Using your logic Pkers also steal other players items after they won the fight. Correct. Example? Like you said the sign popped up, they have been warned of the dangers of the wilderness. They choose to ignore them. True, but in most cases such players quickly learn from their mistake and never repeat it again. In the early stages of the game items used by such players are not rare or valuable and can quite quickly be replaced. New players die fairly frequently. . ummm no. They made the choice to follow them. Lureing does not require to yell any such thing. That is up to the maturity of the player.
  13. Mine would be "Your next" while weakly pointing at someone.
  14. I am totally opposed to the rule change. In my view luring should be fine and it adds a extra dynamic to the game. People must remember that Runescape is a game and is not real life. People also must remember that within runescape their is a theme of good vs evil. People must remember that not everyone plays the game for the clicking and watching numbers increase. Many people play to become a character, someone they would not be in their real life. If someone wants to play a cruel twisted evil character then luring another player to their death is fully within the role of such a character. Not allowing such actives just makes it that much harder for someone to play a character with a evil personality . In runescape you are not forced to follow other players and if one chooses to walk into the wilderness or a dangerous area it is their own fault and they have only themselves to blame for having a poor ability to judge the intention of another player.
  15. Umm, Australia could? that wasnt the real australian side.... It was pretty much your real bowling side, and the batters which were there did perform to a high standard. Even if you had the top batters the outcome would of been the same because your bowlers were slaughtered.
  16. I thought it was a rather average episode for South Parks standards. Most of the jokes seem to be overdone and not natural. It was better then 1101 but still not very funny.
  17. Isn't going to happen. With the way things are going - it looks like it will be an Australia V South Africa final. I was thinking more on the lines of a Australia V New Zealand final? I say we would win the final without losing a single wicket. At this time I still think it it would be hard to write off SA, Sri Lanka, Aus, NZ and even the west indies.
  18. India has just been beaten by Sri Lanka. Looks like they would not make the super 8. The super 8 should now be. New Zealand Sri lanka West Indies Australia South Africa England Ireland Bangladesh
  19. I would have to disagree, at least in part with all of your examples. Renewable. They would always renew themselves but given time their level of efficiency would decline. The dams slowly trap sediments behind them which fill in the storage lakes. Clean. They cause significant damage to rivers. Downstream from the dam the rivers scours all of the gravel and sediment away leaving bedrook. Upstream from the dam they firstly cause lakes which interfere in the natural flow patterns but latter the lakes fill in with gravel and sediments. The dams also interfere and prevent the migration of fish and other life up the valley. This article is also interesting http://www.newscientist.com/article.ns?id=dn7046 Plenty of Supply. With increase demand on water for irrigation and other uses the supply is not so certain. Many of the worlds major rivers flows are only a fraction of their natural flows.l
  20. If you claim that then it is obvious that you have not used a forum which has used Sub-Forums in a appropriate and correct manner. A good example of their use would be the forums at http://www.gpforums.co.nz . They are a busy community with dozens of different forums on a broad range of topics. If such a forum just used 'forums' the main index would be ridiculous in length and not easy to navigate. The main index is split into a range of broad topics. Many of which had sub-forums, one for example has 9 different headings. Using the "Hardware and Tech. Help" forum for a example in there they have 6 sub-forums which all flourish. If sub-forums were not used all of the discussion would either had to be concentrated into a single forum or the main index would be ridiculously long. This is a good use of sub-forums and it works well and greatly aids in navigation and finding relevant topics. A couple of bad examples on the use of sub-forums would be http://forums.overclockers.co.nz/ , this forum is less busy but generally fairly well run. Now click on the motherboards forum. They have split it up into 9 sub forums most of which have not been used since last year if not earlier. Such a system fails because their is not enough interest and the subjects complement each other. If a person has a question regarding motherboards chances are they would have several to compare in which case the layout completely fails. Another example of bad use of sub-forums would be in the deeperblue.net forums. Their they split Speargun discussion into 5 different forums. It just makes it hard to find any relevant information. Plus the forum is not busy enough to support so many forums. Sub forums would work on Tip.it, and would improve the ease of navigation because tip.it has a busy community and has alot of different forums already in the main index. Turning the MM&T forum into a sub-forum would be a success. Because it is busy and it is not overly niche and the main forum is already getting cluttered with the number of forums already being linked to. MM&T also naturally belongs in off topic.
  21. A good index layout and ease of navigation should have priority over the amount of usage of any one forum. In the long ran a cluttered layout with poor structure would result in a overall reduction of users.
  22. In most cases I agree, I personally hate sub-forums most of the time. But this is a special case, the tip.it forum has now grown to such a size that is has over 40 forums on its main page (Way to many in my opinion and probably overwhelming for new users). That is a lot of links to scroll through. Many users of Off Topic are not users of the rest of the forums. I can not remember the last time I visited one of the runescape related forums. (Well I lied, I had a quick visit to General P2P a few weeks ago). In many ways it acts like a community within the larger tip.it forum. Being able to navigate between the different off-topic 'forums' without returning to the index page would help to speed up navigation and help concentrate similar topics. Not to mention it would help to preserve server bandwidth. Every time a user visits the main index (depending on cache setting) the server has to provide not only the links to the forums but the name of the last poster and the date which it occurs.
  23. There are several occasions where this is not true. - When there has been a new development. - When there is more room for discussion. - When starting a new thread would duplicate discussion. - When said thread is related to or relevant to another discussion currently occurring. I personally feel many of the mods are a bit lock happy on this forum in cases of old threads. It only takes one mod to lock a thread, several could of thought such a thread was fine and decided to leave it open but if one is trying to look 'busy' or just like the 'power' locking a thread gives them over users then it would be locked and a chance for valuable conversation would of been ceased. (Mods rarely question other moderators decisions it would just create unnecessary friction)
  24. How about turning the "Music, Movies & Television" forum into a sub-forum of Off-topic. It would help to concentrate the topics, reduce main index clutter and should increase its visibility. I know that I always forget to check on it when I visit the forum.
