Don't make assumptions. I'm level 91, and I buy noothing I can get myself. I mine coal and ess, fish lobs (can't fish sharks yet), cut yews (rarely, I don;t fletch much), pick flax etc. The only time I have bough a large quantity of anything was 13k iron ore, but that was because I was trying to get 70 smithing quickly before Christmas.

I already have photoshop, so thats one price off. The laptop abov seems to be a good deal. Thanks for any help. Hmm it only has 512mb ram, and laptops are quite expensive to upgrade. My computer only has 512 RAM, and I currently can play games fine on it. It works fine for all my needs. Since I donlt intend to play games other than RS, with that information, do you think the 512 is a good choice? The laptop that you reccommended wahoo seems not only out of my price range but also a lot more than I need. The customer reveiws for the laptop I was suggested on another site seem very good, so I think I'll purchase that. I have a few questions though. It has been mentioned that laptops are expensive to upgrade. Does this include setting up wireless broadband? Could anyone give me a breif overveiw of setting up wireless broadband and what I'll need, if I have another computer in the house using the connection?

For big competitions, you could have like a middleman, a mod who grabs the pricemoney on a mule or something, and keeps it untill the comp is finished, then give to the winners, i Think it would work good, I dont think any moderator here would throw away thier mod-career for 10 m ? right? Unfortunately that isn;t always the case. Look at the person who's name escapes me. She was a pixel sig maker. She had a good reputation, good friends with the other pixellers around here. She threw it all away when she started taking the cash for unfinished sigs then never finishing them. I'm sure someone will know her name :?

Pixelling, adding text etc. Possibly grunge etc if I ever learn how. Any suggestions?

Hi, I'm currently writing this from my PC, but am looking to buy a laptop. I'm saving up atm, and since I have reached ÃÆââ¬Å¡Ãâã400, I thought it would be time to find out how much more to save up. I'm asking for peoples opinions on good specs for a laptop, so I know what a good one is, and so that I know how much more I have to save up. I don;t need to gaem on the laptop or anything, it'll be primarily for the internet, photoshop and possibly runescape. All advice is appreciated, thanks. :D

Looks more like digital painting than a pixel, but looking good anyway =) Just clean up the outline, it's looking kinda jaggy.

Several people have been banned, inbcluding a member of Phobia and Corruptions leader, which is pretty bad. The mains are going to be banned, if Jagex made an empty threat after banning so many, people may start to believe that not so many were actually banned.

The unfinishedness is that he forgot to add a 3d part to it. It is only 2d atm.

I like it, very aggressive. Go on, we all know you are bursting to tell us how many colours you used :P Perhaps the background would fine in one colour, but white is not it. I'll look forward to seeing the body :D

1. Clean lines? Pixel linework is a 1 pixel width line, I don;t see how it could get messy. Unless you mean messy libework, which basically means redoing them. 2. Skin is dull, so not too many bright highlights. 3. Use appropriate colours in whatever program you will be using, and pick a lightsource. Shade it lighter towards the lightsource, taking into account the shape of the object. 4. Clothes are another dull object, just use the right colours. 5. See number 3. 6. Armour is shiny, so you are allowed bright highlights. 7. Pick the colour of the metal you'll be using, and make yourself a small scale, max 7 colours and go from light to dark. Armour is usually curved, so make sure you look at a guide about curved metal, and how it reflects. I don't have a link, but googling something usually helps. You be best picking a style of shading before starting. Will you just go straight from one colour to the next shade (Godslayer does this very well). Will you dither (I think Terley does this). Good luck with pixelling Jaguar, I enjoyed PKing with HoF :D

Thagren, I like your idea, here are a few points. I think it'd look better if the menu button was at the bottom. Music is on one side, but it's counterpart on the other side is unfilled, maybe use that instead of a side? I think it'd look more aesthetically pleasing. Why a seperate menu for positive and negative effects? Just add a scroll bar to show more than 8. How many is it possible to actually have? The on screen alerts. I like the idea, perhaps they should fade then unfade every few seconds so they catch the players attention? I like your work (bank organiser ftw!). Keep it up 8)

Nice work DH, in the latest update the finger on his right hand seem to have melted into his hand though. Love the frayed hems etc on the jeams though. The colour for the body looks weird to me, but not bad. Any chance of getting that forums address?
