Use the D scimi with either D Baxe special or Dds special. Dds special because it's fast and pretty durned accurate. D Baxe special because it boosts Str for higher hits.

Obby shield: remember there is also the +5 str bonus Stab- +40 Slash- +42 Crush- +38 Magic- 0 Range- +65 Rune Kite: Stab- +44 Slash- +48 Crush- +46 Magic- -1 Range- +46 There. Basically obby shield has less melee def.

I mentioned it because I've seen a few lvl 95s using Veracs for Barrows. They called me a noob because I choose to use my Slayer Dart and Range Ahrim strategy instead of being like them and use Veracs.

You could also be one of those people who use full Veracs at Barrows.

Take as few items as you can. Run like heck. And god speed man. I did one. Didn't run into a single person who'd want to fight me. I hope you have that kind of luck.

I say noob and its many variants are overused. In fact, so overused that anything you do( in a fight) can be considered nooby.

Fletching your own Yew longs or Mage longs and then alching them is your best option. You'll even make a little bit of a profit.
