Agreed Sy_Accursed. Dunno what hour we're in at but we're a little bit over 118k votes. One thing I've been thinking of, what if the poll gets around 249k votes. Do you think jagex would bump it to 250k and have the $5 cost or let it stay at $15 as if it never reached 250k?

It would be a little more expensive due to the fact that normal member isn't exactly $5 is it? Unless you still have the low low price from a few years ago.

I'm quite excited for the new gm quest and html5 rs.

I'd say mainly because those people are in favour of what Jagex is doing. Supporting the change and evolution of Runescape. If Jagex wanted stuff to really be like it was back in 2007, then they would never do anything to change how it was back then. Or possible that they don't live in the past.

I like how that video is the one of the very few uploads on rs' channel that doesn't have a massive ammount of negative votes on youtube. I lol'd.

Still a better love story than Twilight. Anyway, seeing as I'm obsessed with emotes, I'm gonna do daily spins in hope for enough hearts for the emotes, and of course the other items. If I don't get enough hearts before the promotion is over I'll either buy the hearts from players or buy SoF spins.

Voting for something in ignorance is worse. This vote is a show of interest. Nobody is voting against it, they're saying they're not interested. This. I'm not voting because I don't find a 2007 version of runescape interesting. If I voted then it would just be an invalid vote. Imagine this scenario. 500k people voted yes, yet only 250k end up playing it. Jagex would be forced to set up the servers for free, no extra revenue other than the membership new players who currently aren't member set up. That's an extra $5 loss per player just because people threw in invalid votes.

I'm confused. Would our current characters be ported over to the server or do we get the characters we had back in 2007? On a second note. Seeing as it's members only poll... are there even enough members that would support this to make the server free? As in no aditional cost from what members cost now? 500k member votes for it to be free... That's a bit far fetched, don't you think? I'm a bit sceptical about all of this. We'll see where this whole thing goes. Edit: Nvm, you have to start a completely new character. No thank you.

I agree with the not a bug part. But those kinds of charm rates AS WELL as very high xp was a little bit too much.

It's still a bug in the system when it's not working like it should. If it wasn't a bug then it wouldn't have been patched. That isn't praise for being a good game tester, it's praise for "having mad skills" and accomplishing feats. They worded it that way because if they said anything about manipulating the boss mechanics then everyone would want him banned because Jagex themselves acknowledged him as abusing the system and not banning him. And thus hypocrism. Banning whoever they want and leaving others in the shadow.

As people have said. Changing back to how a game was before will not change how the player was at that time. Games change with time, and so do players. You just have to accept it.

You have to take into account that on those private servers, no one pays to play on them. It's all free. You think that many players will pay a montly fee to play an 8 year old version of a game that won't get any updates and well to be honest, looks shit compared to now. And also, you got to understand, it's not exactly like normal rs. I mean, they got stores that sell all kinds of stuff. Like it was in the EOC beta worlds. Free food, potions, armour and weapons.

Surprised he never did his one hit ko attack. I'm sure someone at Jagex is kicking themselves for how short time it took before it was solo'd. Either way. Kudos.
