Well, 86 con :D Should be getting 87 at 5pm GMT, everybody is invited to see me get 87! Although I'll have to boot you while I make crystal thrones etc, but cw's is nearby so it's all good :P

It's not so simple, some items seemingly now sell for more to the general store and items sell for the same price when you sell 50 at once. Point is if we're going to determine the effect this will have on the economy we're going to have to do a lot more thinking.

How is changing the shop value of an item the inflation? They never said anything about the high alch price. High alk formula = 1.5x the price the shop will buy an item for with 0 in stock. If they lower the amount the shop buys item for this means less gold comes into the game from high alchemy, thus it will slow down the rate of inflation.

Has nobody thought that Jagex may change the prices the general store buys items for and thus the high alchemy price. You may find that they 'fix' yew longbow prices so as to hinder inflation.

10/10 just for the crafting :shock: That's a lot of exp, you could get 99 crafting three times there, although you probably already know that :oops:

I felt it was a very one sided argument. Games can be so much more than just 'fun', they can be immersive and inspiring. Just like not all movies are great for getting you excited, many games are loved for their stories, and their ability to pull you in. Graphics can do this, and can also enable a lot more different styles of gameplay, look at games like portal. The next gen isn't just about graphics, it's about physics and raw power, look at games like Ninja Gaiden two or Mass Effect, when you 'cleave' somebody in half in NG2 that'll really get your adrenaline pumping, which will make the game that much more exciting and enjoyable, and when you land on a new planet in ME and you have unique plants and trees that give that planet it's own identity or when you dock in a space station and see all kinds of life forms walk it corridors all completely believable, I for one now I'll be estatic I can explore those planets, space stations and whatever else I may find whilst exploring Biowares masterpiece. Edit: Oh and that's a pretty poor shot of Crysis, it looks like they turned off the AA :-s [hide=A different Crysis Screenshot][/hide]
