What I dont understand is why would it kill alching. Surely the only use you have for yew longs is to alch them unless you are going to use them to range with, in which case then you only need a maximum of two (one as a place saver). Therefore who would buy them at that price anyway. I know I would not. Am I losing the plot as I just cant understand why they are priced so high above what they alch for. thats demand... ask stakers if that works

[hide] Its the point. People aren't supposed to make so much money off doing nothing like high alching yew bows all day. So running around to a nat altar and back is ok? Just like running to any second spawn? Rune rocks? Almost all money makers which doesn't involve killing something/someone take about the same skill, dedication, etc. I don't see why high alching yew longs is "supposed" to be so. People just sat on their fat behinds buying bows at extremely low prices, than get massive gp off doing practically nothing. That generated too much gp in RS. And to the other guy, high level alchemy existed before yew trees did, so I don't think it was intended to make as much money as it was possible before the GE update. But like posted elsewhere, its not like someones forcing u to use GE is it? So whats the prob. Well i mean to be able to even make a profit off of Yew Longs you have to Craft nats. except, for to say. the idea was good and jagex should continue with it, or fix the destroy box option on armor sets and better set related things for easier acess. the boxed armor is good bank saver, and coupled with a house would make for a great place to keep other armors like barrows. but with it being only 1 spot for 4 items, why put in a house when your bank is fine? still a home is a great place and i wish jagex would let me put my keris their and my shield collection with other random weapons i have gotten from quests...

With all due respect, have you actually tried selling things on this? The vast MAJORITY of items do not sell because the prices are wrong. lets see an example of an item that is not a resource or rare. such a "baby wants his bottle" attitude.

Well, except for the fact that it's almost impossible to sell anything, it's perfect. ;) I don't see how its impossible to sell anything if you don't be an idiot and sell for the highest possible price. If you do that you should know that you won't get you're item sold. There are many items I have tried to sell for the lowest possible price. There are no buyers because Jagex's artificial price is above the market. yet other items are bought and sold instantly, and it being a 5 hour old update, it seems your "it no work" attitude is flawed it self since they BUYERS probably have yet to experience the update. in 24-36 hours, maybe id agree. How to solve this with GE update?: Make a portal access point in both of the Varrock banks that teleports you to "a new land" were grand exchange is. I don't like that idea...I know this isn't supposed to be reality, but portals popping up for many updates would make the land seem too fragmented. Even though there are less trees now, the land still flows together and gives you a picture of the RS world. i agree, it was a nice space however the placment is nice. but i do think we need new lands and islands and continents.
