  1. the idea of the rune pouch would be to let you cast when they are in your inventory to save space. also, the charged magic armor, i was thinking it would never lose its charge unless you died and lost the armor, making it good for training magic/fun magic like @ castle wars/pc wherever that your not going to die and lose items.
  2. you can reset your wave... but still alot of work for nothing really
  3. so generalized is all i have to say since i know who it was.
  4. Pest Control most probably. to have ONLY 99 attack you'd require high defence and strength too which would lead to a lot of hits experience, more than enough for 99 hits most probably ;) i doubt that, i see alot of people with 99 attack with only attack as their 99 combat stat, infact my friends clan most the high leveled players were 99 attackers... their was like 13 with 99 attack without any other 99 combat, like 90 str and def 95 hp 99 attack. and this was just before pc.
  5. nechryael = zammy plate dag kings = rune legs stuff like that. i dunno i think its probably backwards, but whatever.

  7. i certainly dont see this game being as good as it could be. fine as it is? yes, but improvement is what i want to see. i was reminded about the idea of rune sack and the sheaths, it would add complexity to the changing weapons when needed to be done quickly. i would like to say, that their should be an addition to the equiptment screen that you could grab such weapon holstered/sheathed then put your primary weapon in your inventory/sheath. also, why isnt their an operate function to do special attacks on a weapon? it would just add variety i think.
  8. well with my interest in runescape tiring, ive went back to trying to entertain my self by how i think runescape would blossom if some particular ideas where added into the game. all my ideas are generalized and not well detailed, however if your creative and imaginative you should beable appreciate my ideas. and opinions on all things are welcome. oh, by the way all these ideas could probably not be made for RS2, rs3 maybe... if it came out. first of all, before i even say anything i would love for every1 that reads this thread to look at the better bank page thread http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?t=351049 also take a look around i see ideas in this forum that look promising. inventory accessories one thing i have been considering is an expansion upon the inventory space, how? well first a rune sack it owuld be like a runecrafting pouch but holds all your runes in a little sack that is buckled to your belt. this idea would be like a small leathered loop that hangs off your belt slightly and buttons back in a loop for to your belt, this loop also doubles for a whip, seeing how its a weapon used by 50% the members community it would just look like a whip laying on the ground but fastened securly to your belt. the runesack idea is from the idea of a bolt pouch and mainly the quiver rangers receive. the rune sack would not give any bonus's another idea to save inventory space, would allow you to carry a sword sheath on your left side and this holds any sword type weapon that is not a 2hander. i was thinking of 2 things but, this is just an idea that you would have a secondary weapon, such as a longsword in your sheath with your primary weapon in your hand. and then on your right side of your belt just infront of your runesack/whip their would be a dagger holster that fits nicely into it. and the whip/sack would be behind the dagger so that the dagger would not slice the sack or destroy your whip. i was also thinking of additional dagger pouches firstly, the rune defender pouch would be attached just above your belt over a sword sheath so it was still capable of grabbing it quickly, if you were to switch from a 2h. i was also thinking of another dagger pouch but, it would only be for things like a slot for items like the keris, theirs not enough specialty daggers to include such as thing. so to review, if i was holding a whip and switched to a dragon dagger i would buckle the whip down to my belt and grab the dagger. if i were to then switch from my dagger to a long sword i would put the dagger back to its pouch, then retreive the longsword from the left side of my belt. basic shields, non defender types. would be to sling it over your back, this would not work with a 2handed item in the spot. so if you were to switch from a whip&shield you would slide the shield on your back and sheath your weapon to draw the 2hander weapon instantaneously. 2handed weapons, spears 2handed swords and mauls. the idea would be to sling these weapons(including bows and staffs) the idea would be for a dragon 2h to have the handle to be above your left shoulder and you pull it down after sheating your weapons and shield. now runescape has animations, but switching weapons does not have an animation, but in rs3, maybe? i was thinking they would be quick, so quick not to actually effect pvp. all sheath's and rune sacks and other additions to belts would have no value other then to hold, so dont look forward to actually getting a +4 defense value on each little item. armor upgrades another idea is berserker/fury(need better name) armor berserker armor would introduce a new form of combat class, by reducing the defensive values you would gain strength bonus in berserker and fury armor would give a better stab slash and crush value of items. the berserker armor would be designed thru hunting large bears and wollves and crafting their hides into clothing that covers your body and leaves you extremely flexible. the beserker armor would be cheap to obtain in the sence you would have to use your hunting and crafting skills(or some1 elses) to get it, 80 hunting and crafting would be required to trap & make this. fury armor would be similar however it would have attack values, and different requirements im not sure what tho. later on i have a list of pictures i redesigned of existing armors of runescape, but i would like to put down ideas i think would be interesting to see skill based armors all these ideas are not for existing armors first armor that poisons oponents if they deal damage a fraction of your health, to be easy with #'s and we say you have 100hp the poisiong would start in after 60% damage is dealt to you, so if you lose 60%(60hp) you would poison this person and it would not be cureable easily, you would have to drink a (4) dose anti poison to be cured, and with each dose the poison weakens from 6 to 4 to 3 to 2 to 1, super anti would be 2 doses 6 to 3 to 1, used with herblore like 20(maybe more) super poison potions to do each piece. another idea would be the ability to upgrade armors with gems, now seeing how some gems are expensive it would be limited to either first of all 5 gems to upgrade all the armor (1 on leg helm shield, 2 on plate) imagine seeing some1 with 5 onyx gems powering their armor thats 20mil @ least. or perhaps a diamond plated shield. another idea would be to limit the gems to the dragon stone or maybe even diamond, i was thinking after adding 20 dragon stone gems to any specific shield it would be come resistant to dragon fire. also, smithing gold leafs from homes onto armor to add variations and colorant, with slight defensive bonus's because pure gold is infact very heavy and flexible, so only small amounts would be helpful. another idea i am more intent on seeing is magical armor. how this armor would work it would be inactive until charged, and when i say charged i mean, truly charged.this armor would be untradable only when charged. whilst holding the staff and wearing the armor, you have to cast the charge spell 500 times. why so much? because its a charge spell, also the time and expensive required to do 500 of these spells. seeing how i believe charge takes 2minutes before you can recharge, you would have 17(almost) hours and considerable amounts of $ tied up into these robes, these would not be for the light hearted PKER. when dropped it loses all of its charges and would be tradable when "damaged" or uncharged. these robes would be great for ancients but the problem is you would have to be in a large group of people just to make sure you dont get killed and lose it. or at least be scared of not loosing so much work. this would definately be a set of robes on for some1 who is confident or just has the resources to not care. designed, basic inspiration ok now after suggesting some ideas for ingame updates, skill updates, uses for items with limitations and some high level armor i would like to post a picture of edited armor i have just simple recolored from inspiration of world of warcraft. this armor would be accessorized with things like if you noticed the golden armors are trimmed you will notice they are familiar armors and they have gloves saches and trimmings this picture i designed is not well organized or colored, and i put more effort into some things then others if you couldnt tell. and all these pictures are about 95% accurate, i took the screen shots in the ingame equiptment view and then just edited them accordingly. if you noticed i also designed a brassard to fit over black dragonhide in the coloration of karils sleeves, it would infact be worn as a shield, seeing how the bow would be in your weapon hand in the equiptment menu. i thought it would be a nice feature to actually fix the bow of rangers because, really we hold weapons in our right hand, and when i took archery i was holding my bow in my left hand and i would draw the string and arrow back with my right hand. well, having a brassard on your left arm would protect you better and not reduce your motion of holding a bow or especially drawing its string back. it to would give a ranged bonus. my friend chris also believe dragonhide armor should have studs as an addition, effectively reducing the magic def when increasing a slight melee def. now after reviewing this, melee armor has been visited serveral times, mages armor greatly improved but, ranged armor is not. if i could i would love to have ideas about it but the brassard is only thing i consider realistic. finally i would love to just have them update the 99 capes. how? well leave it the way it currently is if you do not have the required experience for level 100, but if you have it or more, you retain the level 100 in that stat while wearing the cape, constantly and it would pot over that as if it was a natural lvl, so if you had 100 magic, and exp for lvl 100, your magic potion would make you goto 104 magic. in no way would this devalue you the fire cape/obby cape. all these upgrades/armors and such are not not for everyone, but the things like dagger pouches and runesacks are. the armors are designed for about lvl 90 stats of respecting things. but i dont have any ideas set instone. such things like the berserker armor would require 70 def and 80 str/attack for fury. and the golden armors i desigened were specifically designed for people of 99 combat stats, and the trimmings were ideas to represent your 99 in a specific stat. one thing i left out as i edit this, i would love to see runescape introduce specific servers for selling items that or a interactive always active player market, you could be offline while your personal items sit in a shop waiting for a buyer then a notice message will be sent to you and the $ would be delived to your bank, if people offer such things that are not $ of a specific value you designated a post will be sent to you to review if you want to accept. so the only thing you could have auto-accepted would be $. but the individual server idea would be to segregate the buying/selling of items on a basic level found in the runescape official forums. 1 world entirely dedicated to buying selling rare items. another thing i would like to see added is, the ability to edit your home by moving rooms without deleting their progress this was a very large post, i assume their are spelling/grammatical errors and i really dont care about those.
  9. A penguin that ate a burrito wow, dumb spam... requirements are on the RS offical homepage when u click the news article, rewards are on like page 3 or 4
  10. well seeing how its entirely possible the studio director/manager of the band BOC did actually say he wanted to hear more cowbell i find it probably lesser known then a popular tv show that has ran for nearly 30 years and has a viewing audience of i was just guess millions. i mean, perhaps you are correct but honestly, it just seems more like a SNL reference then some random coincidence
  11. clearly to be that accurate, some1 @ jagex has. oh, and its 2007, we have internet and jagex has access to it and it definately could be downloaded via youtube, or how many p2p sharing systems, and not to mention...satellite TV probably could broadcast that.
  12. thats not an fma reference, only in your dreams. But anyway, I'm seeing more summoning/necromancy clues, and we have been getting alot lately, no doubt it will come soon. yea, dont assume something is a reference to a tv show considering the idea from the TV show are all actual things, look up camara(spelled wrong) its a hybrid thing that is made from things its old, very old the tv show is?? what 2 years old? maybe 5 years old in japan? heres an example of a reference, in the new quest during the part where your playing musical instruments, some 1 is playing a cowbell, and then some guy breaks in and says i need more cowbell. thats a saturday night live reference to blue oyster cult skit of the song "dont fear the reaper" where will farrel is playing a cowbell in the background, and the original song actually does have cowbell in it. and the actual studio directpr for the song(skit) thats recording(dont fear the reaper) he says over the intercom "i dont hear enough cowbell" & "i need more cowbell"
  13. its not bad, consider you work an hour in a minimum wage job and you pay for your month of members, a week is like how many years of runescape? but still foe $5 i could buy other stuff, but probbaly not anything as entertaining that would last 2 years so far and could last 10 more years.
  14. yea its gone give examples?
  15. did any1 else notice the SNL blue oyster cult reference during the quest?
