The hackings have nothing to do with SS (outside of maybe IRC). There is no way to embed a keylogger into an [Caution: ExecutableFile] or SS to the point where an antivirus would not pick it up. I've scanned them both with several programs and nothing. If you DL it from zybez's site its 100% safe (outside of the IRC client of course). ive never actually heard some1 say they got key logged while using SS, that me personally... also, what wakka says is pretty much true, to combine a virus or any other program with another you need a program to do that your self, which is easy enough to find but he is rite, theirs like 99% chance most up to date virus scanners will catch it. i dont use SS, i dont like SS, but my friend casey is a top admin for RS community. ive also heard RS community scans all pk videos put on forums and such, now im not sure if that part is true at all but i know casey personally and hes a very trust worthy kind of guy and im sure if he uses it, its of best quality.

I have that same problem. I don't use SS though, I use mIRC. what is this mIRC and IRC you speak of? iv never used a third party client only the dude who's guide tells you how to put desktop links for worlds, you own world switching man! I've never used SS either. MiRC is a completely different (legal) program. Most ops/admins here use it. I've been using mIRC for years. I don't understand why people want to use SS so bad. What better options does it offer? With the world delays the world switcher won't work. A stats look up? Big deal, just use mIRC or just open up another page. I never did understand why SS became so popular after the world delays were introduced by Jagex, but maybe I'm missing something.... For me, the main reason was because the IRC was on the same page. With mIRC, i have to minimise the window, or hide the window with rs in to talk in, or even to read the conversations, and then re-open it. Very inconveient, especially if im lagging. Also, i think that mIRC is much harder to a.) use and b.) look at than SS's irc. SS irc is just simple, and yet isnt basic. i dont see how mirc is harder to use? i mean all you really need is the server name and port. then thats all.. anyway the last 3days or so ive been trying to use the SS irc channel thru MIRC and havent been able to connect and that seemingly explains it.

what about flail? its okay, and yeah torags hammers need to be beefed up alot, give them like +100 crush with + 90 str.

with or without the 2h spec? anyway, yeah perhaps the idea isnt that the whip is flawed, but its not amazingly versatile. i got a fighter torso, and sold my dragon chain because why? well ill be using it more then the chain because first, str bonus and 2nd cmon i can heal with guthans if im doing slayer or whatever, but 3rdly i decided it was useful in pvp like castlewars/duel arena not only for the str bonus but because of the slash defense being higher then a rune plates. i mean, how many weapons use stab/crush? ddagger is the only 1 that is used ALOT, dmace i dont see any1 carrying a dmace daily but i do see people using daggers constantly. whip/scimmy/long all weapons mainly slash attack and the slash defense for torso is amazing enough for me to compromise for a while.

what does a whip cost? 1.9mil? not alot... people freak out when i told them i bought my whip for 6mil over a year ago, and trust me, i wasnt the first whip owner. i wish prices were like they used to be... i would sure see alot less of people trying to show off then i do now.

i wouldnt say never, if jagex added in more mini games that rely on like 10 people that needed to cooperate like this, and it gave for rewards comparable to barrows items, then well... this game would definately straighten out slightly

this minigame was doomed to fail anyway. i mean its a really good team work game, and lets face it unless you have the friends to do it, then you might as well not do it.

armors are temporary, rares arent they are constant, at least constant on a galactic level compared to armors.

theirs no way of answering this without speculating slightly, and theirs no ONE singular answer at all. theirs #s of reasons, like pest control more members... high lvl content has been neglected slightly meaning, the best of the best is not out of reach for every1. besides, the economy of runescape is controlled by players... players who could be brain surgeons or 12 year old kids wearing helmets.

Construction didn't need much updating, as there were new things to build for almost every single level up to 99. Hunting just suddenly stops at 71. Exactly what i was about to say. Farming has many high level things too. id compare farming to crafting, in terms of things u can do, like every 3 lvls = something new. however, for you people who said farming didnt get an update... first of all, ill start out subtle. lunar magic basically incorporates farming allotments rite into it, with teles and super compost spell, plant cure spell maybe? i dont remmeber. ok, then tool leprechan that thing was good. magic secatrues, like 10% yield increase? thats amazing what about my arm? my arm's quest gives a 5th herb place... these are all updates not dirently into the farming skill, but things that make it good. id really like to see 90 hunting have a thing where you hunt rare monsters like the graak with a luring stick and u collect furs to make berserker aromr, just like mentioned in the 70/80 armor thread. the furred armor would have not be as good as rune, would have a high def/hunter/str requirement to wear. and it would be like all the peices including chest and legs give str bonus.
