Banned because Schrödinger's cat is a fearful cat (or is that a different game...) There is no rule against repeating the odd word, just one to say not to revert to the previous word. If the game starts repeating the same order of words, and someone points that out, it will be time to start with a new word. (I have added this to the rules)

Had a quick search through the first few pages of the forum and I did not see any previous version of this game so here goes... Pretty simple game You change 1 letter of the word the previous person posted. You cannot add letters or remove letters - your word has to be the same number of letters as previous posts. All words have to be valid in the English language. (American spelling is acceptable - not going to insist words have to be found in the Oxford English dictionary). Acronyms are not allowed. (So PHAT would fail the acronym test as it means Pretty Hot And Tempting / Party HAT.) Try and avoid slang. (So no words like ROID - slang for steroid / Polaroid / haemorrhoid) Do not revert to previous words - say the word is CARD and the next person posts HARD, don't go back to CARD again. If it becomes obvious that words are being repeated, it will be time to start from a new word. Starting word: Boot

When they get fired they decide they need to protest against the system so they dress up in hamster costumes and run around in giant wheels throwing sunflower seeds at astonished onlookers.
