I've been into factorio the last few weekends. It's a game where you're a member of an advanced race who has crash landed on an alien planet, and you need to build a rocket to escape. You build and maintain factories to gather, transport, and construct what you need to create and launch the rocket. The more you build the more pollution you create, and the angrier the local population gets (and they attack you). here's a snippet from theie website about the game You will be mining resources, researching technologies, building infrastructure, automating production and fighting enemies. Use your imagination to design your factory, combine simple elements into ingenious structures, apply management skills to keep it working, and protect it from the creatures who don't really like you.

Welcome back essiw! I can agree collapsing some of the inactive forums makes sense. I think someone had made some good suggestions about that before, as well. I think you're right that RS Mobile on phones won't replace desktop completely, and third-party UIs being unavailable will mean it isn't appealing to a lot of players. I would have to try it on a tablet to chime with my opinion for or against mobile as a desktop replacement.

Mobile got me back, but into OSRS. Wish I was in the RS3 mobile beta. I saw things like the signatures and GE interface broken, and I shot a flair over to @Arceus. @MageUK's pending.me.uk is broken, too. The protector in me wants to do break-fix. I think I'll begin poking people until they 1) respond, 2) tell me to go away, 3) make me go away :shades:

I picked up OSRS Mobile as soon as it came out, and this has gotten me back into the game almost every day since. I'm on the fence about going P2P, and I'm excited to see RS3 on mobile.

Isn't Swiftkit the same third-party client that was hacked and used to harvest peoples' accounts through an applet?

Can we do something different with unapproved image hosts please? ie, instead of just showing [image blocked; please upload at an approved host.] Include the URL of the blocked image, so those interested can either click a link to it or copy/pasta the url into the address bar. Thanks =D

Hello, When you select category F2P and set Bonfire to Yes the XP modifier is properly applied, but if you then change category to Fish the bonfire modifier will say Yes, but will not actually be applied. In this scenario you have to change bonfire to no, and then back to yes to get the modifier to work properly. This bug also occurs when you select yes to bonfire on fish and change category to F2P. Based on what tripsis has said previously, I'd bet they are still hashing out the guidelines for what they want to allow. Since some of those sites would be considered personal sites but they have outlawed personal sites, I am sure they don't want to just start accepting some without a baseline of why they allow one but not another. Give it time, I know they can take awhile but they will get to it eventually. Thanks for your patients. :thumbsup:

As for solid criteria for what you think is acceptable, how about reading the ToS and Privacy Policies of each place you want to allow? If anything in there says "we want to steal your audience's IP so we can steal their RS accounts", you won't want to allow those ones. Alternatively, if you guys are going to be so paranoid as to whitelist where you can link images from, how about providing a service that allows people to upload them here? Oh, wait, you do. It's the Gallery. Leaves those of us who want dynamic sigs in the dark tho. Maybe an Image proxy? Community Protection vs. Server Load?
