I haven't had what I felt was much constructive comments for this thread, but I was wondering something. Not to go way off topic here, but for those making the argument of "It's their bodies let them do what they want with them?". If that logic was correct, then wouldn't that suggest we need to legalize all drugs as well? As for the arguments of "Legalized it, but tax and regulate it". What if the decision to make it illegal stems from a belief or observation it would be fiscally, or some other quantitative measure, better to make it illegal than to organize the regulation and taxation of it? This isn't saying that either ideas aren't valid. Although, I'm curious if either of the things I said above may have any accuracy.

URL:http://forum.tip.it/blogs/ When someone places an image that is larger then the summary box, if the summary of their blog is on the left, the images will overflow into the blog summary on the right. Would it be possible to auto-resize images to fit within the summary of the blog? Example:

Quests - (Grease) Monkeying with the Open Beta Site
GrandZephyr posted a blog entry in GrandZephyr's Blog
I thought I would write about how I'm writing greasemonkey codes to customize the Tip.it site for myself. To start, I wanted the quests page to hide the completed/done quests as soon as you clicked "done", so I've written a greasemonkey javascript to do it. The open.tip.it site requires you to click a "Save Done" button to hide/store the quests you've completed once you've clicked them. I was thinking there was probably a way to do it without leaving the page. So, I went ahead and worked on writing the code to make the quests work so when someone clicks the "Done" for any given quest it will hide it. Also, clicking the checkbox will update the cookie that holds the quest id's for complete quests, and unchecking a box will remove the questid from the completed quests cookie, so the page will know to hide those completed quests the next time you visit. This script was written using greasemonkey for Firefox 8.0 and relies on jQuery, a Javascript library. If anyone ventures to use it and has any advice, please let me know. =) -
Thats pretty cool.

Congratulations on your goal, and good luck on the next one. -
Chenw is correct that you can't use Mining to assist someone for an effigy, as it is not one of the skills available through the in-game assist system. For more information on the assist system, take a look at this page: Current Tip.it Site: http://www.tip.it/runescape/?page=beginners_guide.htm#assist Beta Tip.it Site: http://open.tip.it/pages/view/beginners_guide.htm#assist

US House votes to up defense and limit human rights
GrandZephyr replied to Orpheus's topic in Off-Topic
Is this stuff even constitutional?!? I find this sort of legislation to be self-fulfilling. After succeeding to pass into law, the bill will protect itself from removal by considering all opposition to it as "terrorism". So, through its own sanctions it will be able to use the U.S. Military to protect itself. -
Thank you EoE :)

I haven't played in about 4 years...Where do I start?
GrandZephyr replied to Shameless's topic in Help and Advice
Based on what you've said, I suggest group questing. The quests will help you to avoid tedious skilling, since you may only have to skill levels to meet a quest's requirements. Doing it in a group will give you that social aspect you spoke of enjoying. If you can get a group together to do low level dungeoneering you would have a decently social alternative to group questing. Welcome back to the game, and good luck. :) -

When I looked at the information on urns the amount of XP required to fill an urn doesn't appear to be exact. Currently the estimated amount of XP required to fill an urn is 5*XP Rewarded at Teleport. To use urns with planning/calculation we gotta consider the level requirement of what you're doing so we know if the urn can gain ashes from it, how many ashes you will get in the urn each time you do it and how much XP the urn will give when teleported. I will try to come up with an example and post screenshots. :)

I smelted 220K Gold ore with Gold Gauntlets from 68ish to 99. I don't suggest this method, it took me months to complete.

What are the uses/benefits of creatine & l-carnitine?

Creatine relates to the proteins that make up your muscles. I don't know much more specific then that, sorry. -
How am I supposed to get my friends who would be new to RS to play with me, when there isn't a highscores to easily compare/compete with them? Without this, they won't be able to compare their stats to mine, or vice-versa to have a PERSONAL competition. I don't want to compete with every joe-blow who spends TONS of time on the game! I want to compare myself with the other people I know IRL that play! Many of my friends, and myself, are P2P, but many are F2P and anyone I invite to the game will want to start out F2P. Don't remove F2P hiscores. EoS.

15-Nov-2011 - Coming Next Week: New Website!
GrandZephyr replied to tripsis's topic in General Discussion
I disagree with removing all F2P from the highscores. There should be some sort of compromise. If their purpose is to remove the "inactive" accounts, they can easily do that using the "last logged in on DATE". As for what "DATE" is, I would say 3,6,9, or 12months is reasonable. (The longer the better). -
I think that preventing this avenue of scamming is a great idea. I understand that some legitimate people will lose out, but I believe that it is a good thing overall. Who knows, they could always bring them back if that's what needs doing, and if they do who knows what tweaks they may have. Good find!
