Seek God in need...
When I need a miracle I look in the mirror and tell myself to pull my f*cking finger out, because I know the only person who is going to perform the miracle I̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢m asking for, is me.

Weight loss advice
It's hard at first because you're not used to it. I used to sweat and hate it so much it wasn't funny. Now I walk and before I know it, I'm there and I don't sweat anymore. I shove my joggers on and change in to my work shoes when I get in to the building. Invest in an ipod, shove it in your ears, and move your legs to the beat. I walk everywhere now and I zone out and listen to my music, before I even realise how long I've been walking for I'm already there! You feel great after, I remember I wasn't over weight but I was chubby and because I didn't exercise in so long I couldn't even run down the end of the street, now I run to the train station and work when I'm running late. I remember the first time I was running late for an exam in university and I just ran and I couldn't believe how fit I had got from simply walking! Good luck let me know how you go, as soon as you start seeing results on the scales the more motivated you will be to walk, just don't get down when it takes a while. Every morning just look in the mirror and say my name is "insert name here" no one is going to f*ck with my day and I deserve to lose weight. It will help you with self esteem as well as your weight loss. If you want to lose weight, first you must BELIEVE that you DESERVE to lose it.

Weight loss advice
I lost 16 kilos in 3 months by simply walking to and back from work and uni. I used to be lazy and catch the bus. Now I walk 1 hour to the building, 1 hour home + say 7 hours work = 9 hours of exercise Walk 35 minuets to the train station, 15 minuets to the university + over a 10 hour uni day add about an hour of stair walking + 15 minute walk back to the station, 35 minuets back to house = almost 3 hours of exercise So say I had Mon Tues Wed = all university Thurs Fri Sat = all work Sunday off I walked everywhere instead of the bus, I changed nothing in my diet other than not drinking soft drink. I like my new figure :P All I did was started walking instead of transport and started drinking water and juice instead of soft drink.

cheating death.
I'm concerned that the way you've written your story that it's not the complete truth. People you know have died and you're re telling it like a fishing story. But to answer your question, yes too many times. I should have been dead 20 times over by now but I'm still standing here.

Meditating
You learn something new everyday so here's something new for you to learn. Meditation heals anxiety and personality disorders. Mindfulness-based therapeutic interventions appear to be effective in the treatment of depression, anxiety, psychosis, borderline personality disorder and suicidal/self-harm behaviour Ivanovski, 2007. Academic Discipline of Psychological Medicine (2007) reports that Electroencephalography research suggests increased alpha, theta and beta activity in frontal and posterior regions, some gamma band effects, with theta activity strongly related to level of experience of meditation. Time difference does not always bring benefits. 4,500 participants in Taiwan resulted in a non-linear ordered response--longer meditation experience does not in all cases increase benefits gained from meditation Chin-Yen, 2007. Meditation benefits every day people, not just for the hippies or new age stereotypes it has been given in Western society. Meditation reduces psychological distress, increases relaxation, increases positive mood states over time. Meditation benefits those with substance abuse problems. Frequent meditation by substance abusing individuals showed significant reductions in alcohol, marijuana, and crack cocaine use, Psychology of Addictive Behaviours, Vol 20(3), 2006. That's just for starters  So why have I been meditating for 8 years? As a teenager I had bad social anxiety, I was a soft drug user, I couldn't deal with stress very well and my thoughts were always negative. The aftermath = I speak in front of thousands of people as a motivational speaker without feeling anxiety, I no longer rely on drugs to make me happy, I am extremely patient and can listen without speaking for hours which helps with my profession, my sleep is restful every night and I'm a highly optimistic person who teaches others to obtain it also. Is meditation for people of the real world or only for the new age? You decide but psychological evidence says otherwise. Oh and I'm not saying meditation is the answer, a lot of other things can heal this - But it's free and easy to do, so why not? Would you go to church and pray every Sunday if you weren't religious? No? Well why would meditation work for you if you've already decided it's weird, for the hippies, doesn't work or for the new age... The mind conquers the outcome. Give a man a placebo to cure his flu, chances are if he believes it can heal him, it will. Hmm.

Everyone has their price
I like this thread... If answers are truthfully written you can see who would screw you over for a quick buck, who is going to save the world when they grow up and who puts their family over any possible given price...Then of course you have the people who are fence sitters who want the money and to save the world. Other things I can see is if you have a close relationship with your family, whether there is hostility, poker face people, those who grew up in a strict environment compared to those in a more lenient, those who are raised in close families, those who have lost someone in their family or a divorce.... Shutting up now... :-k

hmm..my braces are giving me bad teeth?
When I had braces I sometimes had the yellowing problem but this was due to the gluing of the wire not my actual teeth. This was due to not listening and drinking soft drink when told not to with braces. Don't lose any sleep over it until you see your dentist, they polish your teeth up really nice when they're taken off and you have the whitest teeth ever for a while.

Meditating
I meditate regularly and have done for the past 8 years. I can't recall this 'stage 5' business, ever but have always reached 'stage 4'. I can create moving 2d pictures and images with my eyes open in the dark without meditating but I don't think this is what you mean?

Everyone has their price
If my family are safe, you can stick the money up your arse. This doesn't make me an 'angel' in the slightest, I'd blow up half the world without thinking twice with no cash offer involved if it meant I kept my family alive. I care about my loved ones more than I could ever care about the world̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s problems or dollar figures.

"First Philosophy"
My first philosophy moment was my first time getting stoned around the age of 13 (it happened get over it just keep reading). I thought what if the brain was an illusion and everything we see, smell, touch, taste, hear etc wasn't real and our minds only created it to be real as the vibration frequencies spun at such high speeds that it perceived things the way it does and that the illusion of the mind was the universe, the god, the alpha and omega as everything we saw was an illusion and all that exists is energy... I hope that makes sense... Which meant that we were the ̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãâ¦Ã¢â¬ÅGod̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬ÃâÃ

morals...........
Wow, I'm glad you're not my first by the sounds of you I would have fallen asleep before you got your pants around your ankles. By the way, statistically speaking, women are happier in a marriage with a good sex life. When sex life goes down the drain so does a lot of marriages and I shall definitely find you a source for that when I get home from work, for now I shall scoot, I'm running late. Btw I did learn that in relationship psychology I'm not pulling it out of my arse. However, it doesn't take rocket science to figure that out on your own. If you want people to listen to what you have to say, don't shove your opinion down their throats.

Your Religion?
I don't have a religion but funnily enough I believe in a lot of life morals practised in Buddhism, Spiritualism and Taoism.
