  1. When people post a topic it is provoked by an emotion, a thought/opinion or a feeling. They are all contributions of emotion. Just like yours has, you had to think about how my post made you feel before you replied. If you didn't feel anything, you wouldn't have replied, Hmm? However, thank you for pointing my post out to me because 'and upset' should be 'or upset.' In which your statement towards me is partially correct.
  2. All this time I've been worshipping the wrong God... It all makes sense to me now :P
  3. Well seeing as we're advertising here and before the thread gets locked I'll join in the shenanigan "TRY XS ENERGY DRINK! RECENTLY LAUNCHED IN AUSTRALIA AS OF JULY 1ST". I get paid for that comment lol.
  4. This young girl had an accident that has changed her way of life in a significant way and you're laughing about it? Please line up in height and size so I can slap the lot of you across the cheek for wearing your heart on your sleeve. Obviously this young man/woman who has written this post felt emotional and upset for this other human being who has endured a horrible accident. The least you could do is support him. I'm ashamed of the lot of you. One person says it's funny and the lot of you jump like a pile of sheep and continue the thread that way. If I were any of you, I would walk with my head hung low in shame for a quiet minute. A young girl right now has injuries from a horrible accident and it's not funny in the slightest. I repeat, I'm ashamed of you all.
  5. No his argument is clear and concise; it is you who has made the assumption and interpreted what he has to say in to your own words. At least his had valid points; I skimmed through yours and gave up. I love those with Conservative beliefs, I really do. They come to my house and expect me to listen to their way of life and I do, quite attentively! I then invite them inside and introduce them to mine and they won't have a bar of it. How rude, I listened to their story but they don't want to hear mine. To think, I invited someone with different views to myself into my house, respected them, listened to their story, shared my resources with them (coffee) and then won't do the same for me? Where is the love and respect in that particular ideology that you all so elegantly preach?
  6. I sometimes scare my mum by going up behind her and tugging on her bag and she nearly thumps me expecting that someone is trying to take it. Try explaining that to another woman when you thought she was your mum from behind... Not to mention I saw her again in the shopping mall, thought she was mum and slapped her really hard on the arse and it was the same lady. I could have died with embarrassment if I could have just stopped laughing...
  7. Morals? If you want morals, read Zen stories. Tell me how you go. Offtopic: I love Zonorhc's posts, seems we have similar views in pretty much everything so far.
  8. I understand that, that is your opinion and I agree with you. A good idea only comes around every once in a while, you are absolutely correct and I agree with what you said whole-heartedly. What I'm saying here, however, is within all the movies you have watched in-between, how many times have you said to yourself "I've seen this part of the story line in another movie". That is what I mean, when I say lack of originality because I'm not sure about you, but I find myself as a movie buff doing that often and it makes me feel disappointed.
  9. Those are some great titles you have found and I loved most of them, however; To be honest in 10 years, that isn't much of a movie choice is it? That's like going to the movies once a week and only finding 1 decent, original movie within the year. I don't know about you but from what they get paid, I expect to be wooed much more than once a year. That brings me back to these questions: Is it them? Is it me? Or is there a lack rapidly increasing in original ideas? Generation Y are obsessed with saving the world, you'd think they could tamper with the idea a little hmm? I'm hanging on the end of my seat here to view a movie with a REAL story about every day people who struggled and then found their feet. Am I crazy to find that watching a sick person from a 3rd world country making a difference in the world more entertaining than Frodo destroying a ring with sweet [wagon] engraving on the inside?
  10. The answer is clearly no, as here on tip it we have our very own singing/entertainer/comedian Bubsa. How entertained do people want to be? sheesh :P ----- Video Games. - Well yes I agree I haven̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t played video games since the old super Nintendo Donkey Kong games - Held a Guinness book of records title for DK2 - youngest person to complete whole game in quickest time with max percent (obviously it upgrades each year so your name is only in there for a whole of about a year tops). Perhaps it's because I'm getting older and find it hard now to understand what all the buttons do on the new consoles? So is that the video game or me? Television. The only thing I watch on TV is Neighbours and family guy - I hear you all on television, it's boring. Or once again, is it just me? Because, now don̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t hold the patience to sit and watch a new program from beginning to ending? Movies. I don't know about you guys and girls but the last DECENT movie I actually wanted to cry or cheer for was Lord of the Rings now THAT was a while ago. Movies are getting boring lately or am I expecting too much? Is it me? I expect a movie to make me cry, move me emotionally or make me forget I live in the real world for a second. I remember a time Milo and Otis, a movie about a talking cat and dog was the best movie, ever. Are the movies crap or do I live in a new age where I expect everything to woo me? Music. I can't complain about the music side of things, I'm one of the rare people who listen to meditation rain forest hippy crap or doof doof techno and trance as I'm a motivated person and I like the go go go it has in it. Is that the music or is that me? ----- Or could it be that Video games, television, movies and music have been around for SO LONG that we are all running out of NEW and EXCITING ideas for the people? How many times have you played a video game and compared it to another you've played? Over the years how common is that becoming? How many times have you watched a television show with the same story line as another and you feel like telling them to get their own ideas? I've lost count how many times I̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢ve watched a movie and walked out because they thought that if they followed the same story lines as other movies and threw in a bit of a twist that it would be an award winner! It has the opposite effect. We can only sing so many number 1 hits about love, how many different songs are produced every day, how many songs has their been about love and how many different damn ways can you twist words about love?? ---- Is it them? Is it me? Or has it been around for so long that all the ideas have been taken and the industry will slowly die as there will no longer be anymore original ideas? There's something for you to think about.
  11. Then don't decide to realise that! Your grandma will always be able to talk to you, just in a different way. Fire in the belly my friend, when you feel it, she's there xx
  12. I was just thinking that myself! Your English is wonderful I can understand every word you're saying, well done!
  13. Hi Jer I hope your report card is the grade you deserve 8-) I'm sure your grandma would be proud of you, all that hard work you've done! I would be! You are doing so well and I'm so proud of you, you are a really strong person you know. Hang in there and please let us know what happens, we all care about how you are doing!! Your mind can only hold one thought at a time, make it a happy constructive one sweetheart. You're in my thoughts and I wish you the best.
  14. Rock on one of the main reasons I got over it was because it made my O.C.D even worse because when coming down it alters your serotonin levels and the brains relationship with dopamine. It does damage you mentally in the long run if you do it often. It was fun I must admit but those days are over and I have come a hell of a long way from not knowing where my next meal was coming from, to being a motivational speaker/psych to go back down that road again. I don't regret anything in life, if I didn't go through so much I wouldn't be able to relate and understand peoples behaviour and motives as well as I do. It's one thing to listen but another to actually know what they're going through and sometimes that's all people want, someone who understands them, not someone to label or judge them. I do understand why people do it, why it's so hard to get stuck in that reality, why it makes you think differently, the problems that can occur on it, after it, etc
  15. I used to pop a few pills and smoke a bit of waccy tobaccy in my younger years, don't worry about it too much usually it's just a phase. I have no interest in it anymore, i've experienced it and it has already served its purpose of feeding my curiosity. Had some fun times but time to come back to real world and accomplish better things in life.
  16. What wide pupils you have :P
  17. Lol :D I meant spilt, thanks for that.
  18. I think this topic could potentially hurt a lot of people̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s feelings and bring up unwanted memories for some. I don't really think this is something nice to discuss on a forum to tell you the truth but to answer your question I don't agree with the article. Young kids read this forum...It̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s not a particularly comfortable subject to talk about for me yet alone victims and younger people who will read this. I can see how this article angers you in one way but I can also see how this article may hurt people in a much more personal way.
  19. Don't cry over split milk. Leave the clan, make a new one and take your friends with you. Just don't take the leadership straight to your head or you'll be just as bad as the original power tripper.
  20. In a lifetime you will only be able to count your true friends on one hand. Be thankful that you can already count to one.

    1. To know how everything in the universe evolved from a nothing. 2. To know if what people see is real or what the mind interprets to be real through the high vibrations. 3. To solve the mystery of life and felt emotions.
  22. Your farts would reek :P
  23. I swear that's the real reason they invented the vaccuum cleaner. "Cmere ya little f......er" :P *REEEEM REEEEM* But seriously, if it's that bad people can always get cognitive therapy :-k
  24. Hello my dear I'm so sorry to hear of your recent news about your grandmother. I just want you to know that you are not alone and if you ever need someone to talk to, I'll be more than happy to listen, as I'm sure other people on here would also be willing to lend you their ear through such a tough period. I know it's hard for you and it must not feel very good for you at the moment, I can only imagine what you're feeling and going through and I can't say that it would be very easy for you or your family. I feel that you are very brave and there is no shame in crying it shows that you must really love her and I admire your courage. It takes a very strong person to talk to others about their feelings and emotions and I really think you have what it takes to soldier through this. I know this may sound painful to you but perhaps you could ask her to leave you a sign so you know she has reached the 'other side' okay (if that's your thing) only one you and your grandma would know. I asked my grandad to leave me a sign and I got it. I'm not sure what I believe in but it did give me a huge feeling of inside peace. I knew my parents could hear me talking to him when I asked him to turn on the light switch in the kitchen at a certain time and knew they would flick it on at that time just to make me feel good. So I revisited him before I left and whispered to him to turn it off instead. That night as I came downstairs I saw my parents walk away from the light switch that was turned on and all of a sudden there was a power failure at the same time I asked him to tell me he was okay. My parents hugged me and told me I must be upset that I didn't get grandad̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s sign... I smiled and said no... I saw you two listening so I told him to turn it off :) That's my little story anyway - I don't know what you believe in but I found a big sense of peace in my heart and who knows it may just help you. I believe in you and being as strong as you are I think you can help your family through these hard times as well. Everybody has a rock and I think if you can stay positive you can become the hope your family is searching for during these tough times. I believe you can be a huge inspiration for your grandma and your family. Smile because you know your grandma is proud of you! Best wishes Mel
